bought this game very recently from Steam, was worried about the bugs i experienced from years ago(had an older PC then) for whatever reason now. been playing for 4 hours, halfway done with Cordon. no glitches, no bugs, no crashes whatsoever. if this keeps up then it could be almost as good as the original to me. everyone else needs to upgrade their PC and keep it up, or buy it from Steam instead of torrenting a copy or using an older disc copy. it works for me. also the loading times are not slow for me and i use 1 bullet from the starting pistol and it drops a guy in one shot. if i dont do that, then yes im unloading 2 clips into a person. so use headshots please UPDATE: got to the garbage where everyone says "you get robbed by bandits and lost all of your money you have saved and cannot get it back!" i am seriously surprised no one thought to do this or has done it. BUT you do not walk up to the bandits, actually if you save after you do anything meaningful then you simply re-load once you get robbed and shoot the bandits instead of walking up to them. problem solved, you save all that money you lost. when i did it, i lost 3300. shot the bandits, kept my cash and in the next area, hidden valley if anyone remembers? i just made over 15k by doing missions and looting all the dead people. so i dont see how it was that hard for you to have gotten all your money back that you lost unless you were litterally spending nothing and saved over 20k. so stop being losers and think outside the box for once. clear sky kinda lets you shoot everybody so just do that when you come across bandits. morons.

game doesnt load slowly for me, no bugs, no glitches and no crashes but thats because i use a decent computer when gaming and dont use a 5 year old or older comp without trying to upgrade it at somepoint. so the game works for me, i liked it, liked the story. just wish the company had not shut down because i like the way these stalker games went. now its just a relic i get to keep replaying. oh well, i liked the game.

Warframe is worth trying out and it is "free to play" but if you actually like the gameplay and all that other stuff then you will end up spending money on it or wanting to spend money on it. i have been playing it off and on for over a year, im sure i have spent over 60$ on it by now but i got myself a warframe i like using and some weapons for it, now im just farming for stuff to mod the weapons so they can do more damage so i can do the level 30 stuff a lot easier and by myself. either way it is a great game, try it out just expect to spend money at some point on it because it makes the game far more enjoyable. its not a p2w thing because 95% of the game is helping out other people and doing things together with 5% of that fighting against others. so most, if not all of the time you are just spending money to get something(warframe and weapons) that you will have fun with and complete the harder missions a lot easier with. worth trying out and completely worth pay 60$ for. unlike some games i have paid 60$ for(thief/destiny) a good free to play game that you want to spend money on, not a bunch of cheap looking BS like most free to play games.

i had to make my rating a 5, i played the game months after it came out and then stopped it for a year. i played it this past weekend and it still has framrate issues and lag, which i just looked at a review from may 2013 stating the same thing. so 2 years and they still havent fixed the framrate or lag problems. i like this game and will still play it every so often but the only thing saving this game is that it is free to play.

i dont see a reason to hate the game, played it for 4 hours the 1st night i got it. the world and fighting kept me engaged and on my toes. some situations nearly got out of hand, i would be fighting 1-4 zombies in front of me and 3-5 more would somehow walk out of no where and get behind me and nearly killed me. doesnt seem like there is a difficulty setting, only thing i seem to notice about it, is that the zombies get slightly different/harder the higher the level i go, like slight increases and this might be the case. which means it will get harder the higher the level i get, which is perfect for me. i will try out online play once i have more skills but i do see how that will be any less fun. great game so far and big enough world for me, since there is no fast traveling, if they make it bigger in the future somehow, then they need to ad vehicles or some sort of subway but i like big and i dont mind running.

Resident Evil still a great game and i hope they re-make Nemesis. because i obviously dont have a PS2 again(yet)

i have only gotten on 3 islands so far and it is pretty cool game for 20 bucks, would be more fun if i can find a friend to play co-op with, definitely a survival game where you cant go bum rushing into everything and punching, kinda died a lot when i tried to rush through areas. also a warning. night time ****, so make sure to start a fire and walk around with a burning stick, it might sound silly but you will know how useful it is when you have to do it. also it keeps you from using up flashlight power, you will also learn why that is a good thing as well. if you got 20 bucks or find it on sale and have a friend to play with, then i would say this is not a bad purchase.

giving it a 6, stuck it out to the 13th or 14th mission, which every trophy it auto gives you for completing a mission, after mission 3 each trophy was considered "rare" so lots of people are not sticking the game out so far. it is a stressful, long winded game that is very difficult when running from the alien, it was good and has been the 1st game in a long time to give me that kind of challenge. otherwise the game is slow and doesnt give those good kind of challenges enough even though i was always glad when i was done being hunted by the alien but that was still the best part. until they come out with more updates or much bigger expansions or better online stuff, this game is only a rental or worth buying if it ever gets down to 20$ or less. good game but choppy cutscenes like they were unfinished or cant handle their own graphics power. plus the game also crashed a couple of times which would have been bad if i had not saved recently. a step in a good direction for alien, they just need to add better combat when fighting the alien or androids, speed up the pace because it is really slow when your not around the alien, it goes from crawling to fast sprinting, it doesnt seem like they got a good balance going on. also as i said more multiplayer stuff. so unless i want to torture myself and throw it on hard then there is no replayability for me just yet.

lots of these reviews are really old and the game doesnt seem to work well on older computers(every other game it will freeze but i can always "reconnect" to it) and it is free to play, you get new champs to try every week and you also win "IP" points every match to buy new champs with, i have been playing under 2 weeks and have unlocked 3 of the cheaper-ish champs and can use them permanently and that was without spending any actual cash. this is also a really difficult game, the main point is to not die, i got my skill up by playing against bots and now i dont "feed"(die alot) to the enemy faction. really hard learning curve but i have played EVE and not gone insane so i can learn this game as well. Main point of all of this is, the game is fun with friends, it is difficult even with friends, it is free to play. even though you will want to spend money maybe to get a certain champion faster or to buy new "skins" to make your champ look different. otherwise if you like strategy games, because it takes "strategy" and knowing the proper way to use the abilities of a certain champion. you wouldnt go using a sniper rifle for up close combat in call of duty just like you wouldnt snipe someone with a shotgun. there are certain ways to use certin characters, play it for free, rage and quit, or get better and enjoy yourself, like me currently for free.

i liked the past resident evil games and if you have played those then you would not be ripping into this game for having a lack of/confusing story i dont remember getting too much from those games besides them showing up and then getting attacked and all the cutscenes were always showing off a boss or new thing to kill. the guy made 3-4 of the resident evil games but you expect him to go way different with it. i am currently into chapter 3, i have died once. you say it is confusing on where to go, those levels where it gets confusing just means you have to explore and make it through the area, a shanty town/forest whatever else, it wants you to get misdirected because it has traps everywhere and is trying to kill you. thats the whole point of all of it, you survive while it is trying to kill you, it is not going tell you the exact path to go and make it out of the village area, its gonna give you different ways to go so that you can avoid or run into more traps or find more items. explore. it is a fun game, i enjoy it, i dont expect it to get any easier, im expecting it to get harder and that is a good thing, people who say the game is really difficult are probally just running through the area and running into traps while punching everyone, obviously not gonna work and it didnt work in any resident evil game, it also didnt work in the last of us. also stop comparing it to one of the best games ever, not too many games will stack up but if we are comparing things to the last of us, then every game **** and should get a 0 because it wasnt as good as that game. also no character in any resident evil, silent hill has ever showed much or any emotion yet those games are considered legends. go ahead and play them if you dont believe me, they just kinda looked disturbed and slightly shocked at best. like destiny it has suffered from too much hype but is a good game and is fun and complaining or giving low scores for framerate or black bars or graphics are not god-like. apparently your 12 and didnt play any games before the ps3 or 360. your not a gamer, your a paid complainer or just a whiner all on your own which is even worse.

i like the game and my 60-70 bucks was an investment in hoping they add more stuff in the future like all games do. the only thing i agree with as far as all the bad reviewers is that the story is hard to follow and i really only found myself realizing i was on a story mission, besides the 1st mission was when i was well into being level 6 and on the moon, so its not a story that makes you want to keep up with it(so far) and the voice chat requirments are annoying. not being able to chat with anyone unless they are already a friend or on a fireteam with you but im able to solo everything so far and have died once, so its ok for now and will just hope my friends get the game later on or they introduce some other chat feature to make it easier to group with random people. i can tolerate COD which use to be just spamming **** with grenades and machine guns, so i can handle this game and find it fun (UPDATE) I am now a level 26 warlock, still hated the story but when playing with the 1 friend i made so far and any other random people then i do find it fun while trying to get better gear and doing missions and strikes over again for rewards. I use to play WoW when that was big and was completely prepared to only do pvp or raids for the endgame content constantly and that had 10 million players. i find this 1,000 times better looking and even more fun with other people even if they are not your friends. also people call them a money grab and they might be but im obviously excited over any DLC content they have and this game is still a 7 in my book, maybe the expansions might bring it up a bit. just improving or re-doing the story could make this game better

WARNING, only play EVE if you love interacting with other players, not Soloing, as it is extremely hard or boring to do so, if your looking into EVE you would soon see all the jokes with the high learning curve, they are correct, i was extremely lost and confused for a solid week randomy missioning, only got some sort of direction and new ship thanks to a corporation(pretty much a guild) looking for new people, otherwise i would have been lost still. i would say you could enjoy this game if you like something that is pretty much a part-time job, since you play this game to achieve and work toward something, which the 30k-50k people who log in daily apparently want to work and get something, that is what you are doing, working, its not relaxing whatsoever, unless working to get money and then bigger ships and then plotting to kill other ships with very complicated builds is your idea of relaxing. even so i love this game and im fine with working at it, since its awesome feeling for me to achieve something, barter with people, take others out. so yes play it if you want to work, AVOID at all costs if you want to relax. :) Update. i wasnt trying to put down the game, hence why i gave it a 10, its just extremely difficult and confusing to get things going and the fun about this game is by accomplishing something difficult and it requires alot of thought and concentration to get things done correctly, also lots of dependency on interacting with real players if you really want to do the most awesome stuff. so as far as playing a game to relax like skyrim or something where you explore and take in the sights, this is not like that, your in the world to gain more power, by money or fighting or something, so trying to get more power and become stronger and better is not the most relaxing thing to do right after work but i find this game when i have the time or money to play it very rewarding and fun, just not relaxing.

@chronoT, the game didnt fail because of subscription, it still had people playing till they shut it down and they shut it down because of SWTOR, only one star wars online game was allowed to be going and SWTOR has failed worse then galaxies, Galaxies atleast had free roam space to attack targets and players, SWTOR doesnt, Galaxes lets you build your own guild hall, shop or house. SWTOR doesnt. the only thing SWTOR has better then galaxies was the story and graphics and i liked playing SWTOR before it went F2P and Galaxies never had to go F2P to continue on for years. this was a great game but anyone reading now obviously wont be able to play it anymore, maybe some day they might try re-booting it, who knows.

this game is fun, played it on the comp also(like it better on the comp) I like all the game modes and the levels and the equipment you can win while playing the match, like a suit of amor(big mech thing) the reason this gets a 3 would be after you play for a bit and get to where you can start upgrading and qualifying for new weapons and equipment, you then realize that the longest amount of time you can have anything at all is 1 week. you can unlock stuff with money you get from winning matches, but anything and everything is 1,3 and 7 days and can only rent it for that long. unless you spend real dollars to buy a different kind of in game currency then you cannot get the weapon or equipment permanently. any other f2p game I have tried lets you buy the weapon(permanently) with money you win or money you pay for. it has never made me rent equipment and weapons if I wanted to use them. so unless im fairly awesome and winning thousands daily and playing for hours a day, then there is no way I can win enough from matches to keep all the equipment that I want to use each time I play. so there is no way I can casually play this game. try this game out for yourself, it is free and no need to take my word on it, fun to play like any shooter game but loses its fun when you cant keep any equipment without constantly renting it or throwing down lots of real cash to keep it. just to clarify im fine with paying for things but they normally give the option of paying for it with in game currency also, this is the only game I have found that doesn't let you do that. to clarify, im not giving it a 3 simply cuz i have to spend money for stuff, graphics are not that great to me for a PS4 game even if its free, the heavy Pay to Keep and/or Win model is annoying, also game is laggy no matter what, PC was like this also. but if im gonna spend money on a Free to play title, i would wait for something worthwhile like Planetside 2 which should come out soon enough for PS4. otherwise try this game out on PC or PS4 and see for yourself.

1st, WTH are people ripping into the game for? saying there is no character devleopment? so? on BF and COD, i dont remember character development besides perks and weapons, this isnt an RPG game, its a game where you kill 200 of the other enemy on 3 different maps. I didnt have to P2W to be good at this game. if your good at BF and COD then you will be good on this game. yes at 1st it drops you into the middle of a battle but unless your not looking when you die, you can pick to respawn in a different area or even the HQ(which is also a safe area and no fighting) which constantly has land vehicles or air vehicles picking up people and going off to battle. besides that you can spawn your own land or air vehicle to fly off in, the only problem with this is if you log in when the game is slow, then your driving or flying off on your own. some people were moaning that you cannot heal "heavies" you can, its called repairing like you would a tank, they are mechanical and so you cant be a medic and heal them but you can repair them like a tank. also no objective? it has more of an objective then BF and COD, instead of mindless killing which is fun, you also need to take over bases and mindlessly kill, with tanks, 4 wheeler things, troop transports, airships, air jet things, or on foot. there is friendly fire and that makes a chaotic battle a mess if you have a bunch of foot traffic and tanks rolling through, happens on BF, so it seems all the people who gave this game a 4 or less havent played those other games i mentioned(call of duty and battlefield) since they cannot handle this game. you had to spend 60$ to get those games but can play this for free, so dont expect to get every single weapon for free but i have seen that i can get most weapons by getting the points from playing the game on my own, and i didnt have to pay to win to be good at this game. the only time i didnt like playing this game was when it was slow and no one on my faction was hardly on, i still found it fun harassing the bigger army and just taking over random stuff. also the other bad point, if your comp isnt up to snuff like mine, then it will be super laggy or unplayable, so im waiting on it to release to PS4, atleast i hope it will, otherwise i will have to upgrade my comp so i can play it. its a fun game and worth trying out, its not P2W, it does have things you can pay money and get the items or some weapons faster but when you have 2 dozen of the other faction running at you, then that rifle you spent cash on is not gonna help you and as i said you can get the weapons with the points you earn from killing, defending or taking over positions, so its fun and not grinding to earn the weapons on your own and unless you get into a 1 on 1 battle(lucky you if you do) i dont think the weapon they have will matter too much. also remember to those that are not familiar with this game and are thinking about it for the PC or PS4 when it comes out, this is where you have 3 different very big maps, and 1,000 or more peiple on each server which each has the 3 maps, so your gonna have on each map normally 100 or more of each faction, that means 100 people helping you fight, while you have 200 or more of the other factions fight you( there are 3 factions in all) so 3 armies all trying to take over big and small bases all over the map, and there are no rounds, just constant fighting. i have experianced myself 1 battle over a big base lasting for 3 hours, so no one won until enough of the other faction had to log off or give up, if you love constant fighting then you will enjoy this game, its non-stop.

i liked the game and pre-ordered it like loads of people, i love the missions and quests and story along with each, it gets a 4 mainly for going free to play, for not having that great of PVP, for the houses and space combat being a joke, i like having my ship be my house but that limits me creating the space into something unique, star war galaxies, and rift i could/can buy something and make the inside something no one else has, also flying freely through space would have been much better, no those arcade missions which were fun but no where near as fun and free space could have been, if they ever make enough money again and start adding those features, then i will start up my account again and probaly even pay for it again, since i was willing to do so in the 1st place and hate free to play stuff cuz everything is so limited, makes me think they will never add anything awesome to it again. forgot to add i had a level 50 sith sorcerer, so and made 6 other characters, next highest was 30-40 commando, so i played the game plenty before i judged it.
