Armored Core VI: Fires of Rubicon
7
User ScoreWonderPORO
Sep 22, 2026
7.3/10 — Good, with excellent combat carrying a lighter overall experience.Armored Core VI’s biggest strength is easily its gameplay. The combat is fast, responsive and extremely satisfying, while the extensive AC customization gives you plenty of room to experiment with different weapons, parts and playstyles. The systems are straightforward enough to understand quickly, but still offer enough depth to make building and refining your own AC enjoyable. Difficulty-wise, I found it fairly accessible compared with FromSoftware’s Souls games or something like Nioh, thanks in part to generous checkpoints and the ability to adjust your loadout when retrying **** story was much less impressive to me. The premise is interesting and the voice performances do a good job of giving characters personality despite almost everyone being represented purely through radio communication. However, the worldbuilding feels surprisingly sparse for a FromSoftware game, with much of the background relegated to scattered logs. The lack of visible characters also made it harder for me to become attached to them. I also wasn’t particularly fond of how seeing all of the game’s major content requires multiple playthroughs; there are meaningful additions and changes in later runs, but there is still a fair amount of repeated material.Technically, my experience was very solid overall. I encountered occasional frame drops during effect-heavy scenes and one crash across roughly 30 hours, but no notable bugs.Overall, AC VI is a good game with great combat. The gameplay was strong enough to keep me engaged through three full runs, even though the storytelling never grabbed me to the same degree.Story: 5/10 | Gameplay: 8.5/10 | Performance: 8.5/10 | Overall: 7.3/10

Mafia: The Old Country

As a longtime strength of the Mafia series, I expected the story to be the main reason to play The Old Country, but it ended up being the biggest disappointment for me. The game clearly aims for a tragic crime drama built around loyalty, ambition, family, and personal freedom, but I never felt emotionally invested in most of the characters or their relationships. Many important decisions and turning points feel forced rather than naturally earned, and several characters come across more like plot devices than fully developed people.Gameplay is functional but very basic. Shooting, driving, horse riding, and stealth all work, but there is very little depth to any of them. Stealth is often slower and less effective than simply shooting your way through encounters, while the knife-fighting sections regularly interrupt the pacing rather than improve it. Free Ride also feels largely wasted because the world looks beautiful but lacks meaningful activities or a sense of life beyond collectibles and a few side activities.Performance was another major issue. Despite playing on relatively modest settings, I experienced high VRAM and memory usage, crashes, frame drops, visual glitches, objects falling through the world, and collectibles occasionally becoming impossible to interact with. I eventually had to use a community mod and adjust my Windows page file just to make the game stable enough to finish. There are moments where the atmosphere, visuals, and setting work very well, but the weak storytelling, shallow gameplay, empty-feeling world, and technical problems made the overall experience disappointing.Verdict: 4.5/10 — a promising Mafia story and setting that never fully delivers on its potential.

Alan Wake II

User ScoreWonderPORO
Sep 3, 2026
Alan Wake 2 is an ambitious survival-horror game with an excellent atmosphere, an engaging mystery, and some genuinely creative gameplay systems, but it also has noticeable pacing, design, and performance **** story is easily the strongest part. It follows two protagonists whose narratives gradually connect through a very meta, abstract, and metaphysical structure. The game does a great job keeping you curious and making you want to understand what is really happening. However, it demands a fair amount of attention from the player, and someone who simply rushes through it could easily finish without understanding much of the plot. There are also plenty of mysteries left unanswered, while getting the most complete ending requires playing through New Game+ via The Final Draft. Story: 8/10 Gameplay combines survival-horror combat, exploration, investigation, puzzles, and character progression. Saga's investigative system is mechanically fairly simple but presented extremely well, while Alan's gameplay mechanics are especially clever because they directly incorporate the supernatural rules of the **** resource system is more questionable. The game appears to dynamically adjust supplies depending on how much you already have, which helps maintain tension but can also undermine the reward for careful exploration. Exploration remains worthwhile for upgrades, collectibles, and progression, although this becomes less meaningful in The Final Draft because many upgrades carry over. The pacing is also inconsistent: some sections are extremely engaging, while others can become painfully slow. Gameplay: 7/10 Performance was my biggest problem. I had to play entirely on Low settings because increasing the graphics settings caused crashes, despite my system handling many other games at High or Ultra. The visuals are certainly good, but in my experience they did not justify how demanding the game was. I also encountered a graphical bug and several minor glitches. Performance: 4.5/10 Overall, Alan Wake 2 is a game I respect for its creativity, atmosphere, narrative ambition, and unique ideas. I enjoyed it enough to complete the main game, The Final Draft, and both expansions without feeling like I was forcing myself through them. However, inconsistent pacing, some questionable gameplay systems, unnecessary repetition in New Game+, and especially poor performance prevented me from rating the overall experience as highly as its best moments deserved. Overall: 6.5/10

Nioh 2: The Complete Edition

User ScoreWonderPORO

Nioh 2 is an enjoyable but uneven action RPG whose excellent combat carries a story and progression system that do not always reach the same **** game presents a fantasy reinterpretation of several periods of Japanese history, using real historical figures and events as the backdrop for its yokai-focused narrative. There is clearly a great deal of effort behind the lore, but frequent time skips make the plot difficult to follow and prevent many character relationships from developing naturally. The story remained interesting enough to keep me engaged, and a few character arcs stood out, but it ultimately felt more functional than memorable.Combat is easily the strongest part of the game. Although Nioh 2 shares several elements with Soulslike games, it plays more like a fast technical action game with extensive RPG systems. Its weapons, stances, skills, Ninjutsu, Onmyo magic, and yokai abilities create a deep and satisfying combat system that is simple to understand but difficult to master. However, the camera and lock-on system can become frustrating, particularly in confined spaces or on uneven terrain. The heavy loot system also feels excessive during a first playthrough. Equipment becomes outdated so quickly that carefully building a complete set often feels pointless until much later. The RPG systems are deep enough that they cannot be ignored, but many of their most interesting aspects are better suited to repeat playthroughs and endgame progression.Performance was generally acceptable, although I experienced one crash, several black screens, and a noticeable frame-rate drop in one area.Overall, Nioh 2 is a strong action game with rewarding combat, impressive mechanical depth, and interesting historical-fantasy lore. Its storytelling, camera, and constant equipment management hold it back, but I still had fun throughout most of the experience.7/10

I didn't expect much from the story, and that turned out to be the right mindset. It's intentionally over-the-top, cheesy, and self-aware rather than trying to tell a deep or emotional narrative. While it succeeds at sticking to its campy identity, there's very little substance beyond that.Unfortunately, the gameplay—what should have been the game's biggest strength—ended up being the biggest disappointment for me. Combat feels slow and clunky, the camera can be frustrating, difficulty is inconsistent, and most encounters become repetitive. The combo system and progression exist, but I rarely felt encouraged to experiment since a handful of moves were enough to get through the game. Boss fights range from forgettable to simply annoying, and the frequent QTEs add little to the overall experience.Performance was mostly fine aside from one crash and a minor bug that required restarting a checkpoint. What I do appreciate is that the game knows exactly what it wants to be and fully commits to its absurd style and personality. That confidence gives it some charm, even if I don't think it makes up for the weak gameplay.Overall, I can't call it a good game, but I can see why its unique style has earned it a cult following. **5.3/10**

Ghost of Tsushima: Director's Cut

Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is a beautiful and memorable open-world action game with a strong emotional core. The main story does a great job showing the impact of war, occupation, and the difficult choices the protagonist has to make in order to protect his home. The central character conflict is especially well-written, emotional, and respectful, making the journey feel meaningful rather than just another revenge story.Gameplay-wise, the combat is easy to understand but satisfying to improve at. Sword fights feel stylish, responsive, and intense, especially when you have to read the battlefield and deal with different enemy types. The stealth is weaker and sometimes inconsistent, and in many cases direct combat is simply more fun. Exploration is one of the game’s biggest strengths, especially thanks to the guiding wind system, which helps keep the world immersive without relying too much on a minimap. Some open-world activities can become repetitive, but many of them still feel **** armor and charm customization system is simple but effective, allowing different playstyles without becoming too complicated. I do wish there were more weapon options beyond the katana, and traversal can feel clunky at **** biggest issue was the PC performance when using a controller. The game ran well without one, but connecting a controller caused major performance problems and even system shutdowns, which hurt the experience significantly. Aside from that, I only encountered a small number of **** DLC was the weakest part for me. It had some interesting ideas, but overall it felt less essential and less focused than the main game.Overall, Ghost of Tsushima Director’s Cut is not perfect, but it is emotionally strong, mechanically satisfying, and visually breathtaking. The landscapes, grass, trees, rivers, falling leaves, and overall atmosphere are among the most beautiful I have ever seen in a game. For that alone, it deserves extra credit.Final Score: 8/10

Dead Island 2 is a good zombie action game with excellent combat, strong performance, and some interesting story ideas that sadly do not fully pay **** story has potential, especially with the Autophage, Numen, and the mystery behind the outbreak, but it feels underdeveloped. The game tries to mix over-the-top comedy and satire with a more serious core narrative, and for me those tones sometimes clash. It often feels like the game hints at something deeper without actually explaining enough, possibly saving too much for a sequel. Aside from Sam B, I also did not feel much connection to the previous games. Gameplay is easily the strongest part. Compared to Dead Island and Riptide, this feels less like desperate survival and more like a zombie-slaying power fantasy. The melee and ranged combat are very satisfying, the special enemies keep things fun, and the skill card system allows a lot of flexibility without punishing experimentation. Some enemy placements and quest designs can feel more annoying than challenging, but overall the combat loop is very enjoyable. Performance was excellent in my experience. I encountered no major bugs, only very minor stuttering and one brief FPS drop. Overall, the game felt polished and stable. Dead Island 2 is fun, polished, and very satisfying to play, but its story could have been much stronger. I had a good experience overall, even if the narrative left me wanting more.Score: 7/10

RoboCop: Rogue City

User ScoreWonderPORO
Apr 30, 2026
Despite having no prior experience with the RoboCop franchise, the game works well as an entry point thanks to its simple, accessible lore and straightforward storytelling. The narrative explores the familiar theme of humanity versus machine through Alex Murphy’s identity crisis, allowing player choices to influence relationships and outcomes. While the concept is handled competently, it feels more safe and conventional than truly fresh or **** story itself is serviceable, centered around gang conflicts and larger conspiracies that keep the player engaged, though pacing occasionally drags. Gameplay is split between satisfying combat and slower investigation sections. Combat successfully captures the fantasy of being RoboCop — powerful, durable, and relentless — but can become repetitive over time due to its simple shooting mechanics. Exploration and dialogue interactions add depth, especially through character reactions and branching outcomes.Progression systems are enjoyable, with skill upgrades and the Auto-9 customization offering some build variety, though certain choices feel more optimal than others. Performance is stable overall, with only minor bugs and occasional frame drops.Overall, RoboCop: Rogue City delivers a fun, polished mid-budget experience that excels at immersion and power fantasy, even if it lacks innovation or standout storytelling. A solid game for fans of action shooters and the RoboCop universe, but not one that reaches award-winning territory.Score: 7.2/10

Star Wars Jedi: Survivor — Review (No Spoilers) ****Overall Score: 5/10**** **Story (5.5/10)**The story centers around a single overarching goal, which keeps the narrative focused but also makes it feel somewhat limited in scope. There are a few interesting ideas and character motivations introduced along the way, but the execution doesn’t always fully capitalize on them. While the setup shows promise early on, much of the middle portion of the game feels slow and uneventful. The narrative picks up again toward the later stages, but the payoff doesn’t quite deliver the impact it seems to aim for. Character development is present and generally solid, especially in terms of personal growth and internal conflict, but it follows familiar beats without offering anything particularly new or memorable.Overall, the story is serviceable — it works, but lacks the depth and consistency needed to leave a strong impression. **Gameplay (6.5/10)**Combat is functional and offers variety through different playstyles, but can feel chaotic at times, lacking the clarity and weight found in some other action games. It does its job, but may not feel especially satisfying depending on player preference.Exploration is extensive, but the reward structure can be underwhelming. Many collectibles are cosmetic or lore-based, which reduces the incentive to fully engage with optional content. As a result, while the environments encourage exploration, the payoff doesn’t always justify the effort.Progression systems feel somewhat shallow. While there are multiple skill trees and customization options, limitations in how abilities can be utilized at once make parts of the system feel redundant. This can lead to situations where skill investment doesn’t translate into meaningful gameplay impact. The perk system is a nice addition, but feels underdeveloped. **Performance (3/10)**Performance is one of the game’s weakest aspects. Frequent frame drops, visual inconsistencies, and occasional glitches are present throughout the experience. While no major game-breaking issues occur, the overall lack of polish significantly affects immersion and presentation. **Verdict**Star Wars Jedi: Survivor is a game with solid foundations and moments of potential, but inconsistent execution across story, gameplay, and technical performance holds it back. It’s not a bad experience, but it struggles to stand out or fully deliver on its ambitions.

Resident Evil Requiem

User ScoreWonderPORO
Mar 2, 2026
Story (7.5/10) The narrative has many forced and unrealistic moments typical of the Resident Evil series, but they rarely break immersion. The story is split between Grace Ashcroft and Leon S. Kennedy, each offering a distinct tone.Grace’s arc focuses on survival horror and personal growth, portraying a traumatized woman finding strength through struggle and eventually becoming a protector. Leon’s side leans into action and closure, revisiting Raccoon City and tying up long-running story threads. Overall, the story balances fan service with meaningful closure for the old RE era while clearly setting up the future of the franchise. Gameplay (8.5/10) Gameplay is well-executed through its dual design. Grace’s sections emphasize vulnerability, resource management, and risk–reward decision-making, evoking RE7-style survival horror. Skilled play allows players to overcome difficulty without excessive punishment. Leon’s gameplay is more combat-focused, similar to RE4 but slower and heavier, with deliberate movement and high-intensity encounters. World consistency between both characters is a standout feature. Minor drawbacks include limited enemy variety and a narrow weapon selection for Grace. Performance (8/10) The game performs well overall with ray tracing and modern upscaling features, though there are occasional performance drops and minor animation issues. Additional polish could have elevated the technical presentation further. Verdict (8/10) Resident Evil 9: Requiem is a strong entry in the series—serving both as a respectful send-off to the classic era (RE0–6) and as a foundation for the franchise’s next phase. Not perfect, but impactful and worthwhile.

Dragon Age II
5
User ScoreWonderPORO
Feb 21, 2026
I've completed this game 2 times and here is my honest take Story (6/10) Dragon Age II tells a more intimate, biographical story than Origins, following Hawke’s six-year struggle to survive and rise in Kirkwall after fleeing Lothering. This premise is initially compelling, especially in Act 1, where Hawke’s goals are personal, self-driven, and clearly motivated by survival, wealth, and status. The Deep Roads expedition stands out as the strongest narrative moment because it reflects Hawke’s agency and personal stakes. However, Acts 2 and 3 feel increasingly reactive. Major events—such as the Qunari conflict and the Mage–Templar war—happen largely independent of Hawke’s actions, with the player often feeling swept along rather than shaping outcomes. Compared to Origins, player agency is significantly reduced: key story beats are predetermined, and choices mostly affect details rather than the overall direction. While this appears intentional—serving as a narrative anchor for future games like Inquisition—it makes the experience feel more like observing history than influencing it.Companion storylines are a highlight, with strong characterization and evolving dynamics through the Friendship/Rivalry system, even if most companions remain loyal until the final act regardless of tension. Gameplay (6/10) Combat is faster and more readable than in Origins, but still deeply flawed. Builds are easy to understand yet highly constrained, especially on Hard difficulty where only a few options (notably Elemental mage builds) are truly effective. Encounter balance is inconsistent, with enemy mages capable of wiping parties instantly and little room for tactical counterplay. Repetitive fetch quests, heavily reused environments, limited companion customization, poor AI behavior, and a clunky camera further erode enjoyment. Over time, combat shifts from engaging to exhausting due to wave-based encounters and inflated enemy counts. Performance (5/10) Despite its age, DA2 struggles to run reliably on modern systems. Frequent crashes, instability, and bugs—including enemies becoming stuck or invisible—significantly impact the experience. Getting the game to run smoothly requires external fixes for me, which further detracts from accessibility and enjoyment. Overall (5.6/10) Dragon Age II is an important but compromised entry in the series. It offers meaningful lore, excellent companion writing, and a unique narrative perspective, but sacrifices player agency, polish, and consistency to achieve those goals. It’s a necessary chapter for Dragon Age fans and players willing to endure its frustrations—but far from the series’ strongest entry.

About 55 hours of playtime with 100% completion Story – 7.5/10 The story builds on the themes established in God of War (2018) and delivers a meaningful sense of closure. The emotional core is solid and, at its best, genuinely powerful. However, the narrative often feels over-managed. Character development, while conceptually sound, is sometimes rushed or stretched to fit external ideas rather than flowing naturally. Several arcs resolve too abruptly, and the game frequently explains its intentions instead of trusting the player to interpret them.Certain thematic and ideological elements feel unnecessary and intrusive, affecting immersion. Once noticed, they create a sense of distance from the story, even in moments that should feel organic.Despite these issues, the essence of the story remains intact, and the conclusion is emotionally satisfying. Gameplay – 9/10 Built on the already-solid foundation of God of War (2018), Ragnarök refines combat into a more dynamic, fluid system. Companion variety, vertical movement in combat arenas, and expanded traversal enhance both pacing and satisfaction.Encounter balance is occasionally inconsistent, but never severely. Exploration is more intuitive and streamlined than in 2018, trading depth for accessibility—a subjective but acceptable shift.Overall, the gameplay is polished, engaging, and highly rewarding. Performance – 8/10The PC port runs exceptionally well for a modern release. Minor bugs (position glitches, stuck companions, unintended traversal) occur but are easily resolved via checkpoints. Stability and performance remain strong throughout, marking it as a high-quality port. Overall - 8.2 I believe Ragnarok can't compete with GoW 2018 in term of how it make me feel, internally conflicts and inconsistent especially in Story but overall it's a great game that worth my playtimes.

Story & Worldbuilding – 7.5 / 10 Wasteland 3 doesn’t aim for deep emotional storytelling, but it excels at creating a brutal, politically charged world. The mix of serious political conflict with dark, over-the-top humor works extremely well. Each faction has a clear identity and goals, and your decisions genuinely shape how the Rangers are viewed and how the world evolves — including the game’s ending. Side quests are consistently meaningful and often tie directly into the main narrative, even if none are truly unforgettable. Gameplay – 9 / 10 A modernized CRPG experience with deep systems, dialogue choices, builds, and exploration. The game is easy to grasp but harshly punishes mistakes, keeping the tension high without becoming overwhelming. Occasional AI companion mishaps and camera issues can be frustrating, but overall the challenge and depth feel rewarding rather than exhausting. Performance – 9 / 10 Very stable experience overall, with only minor bugs such as occasional skills failing to trigger. Verdict - 8.5 / 10 Wasteland 3 is a must-play CRPG for RPG fans and a strong entry point for newcomers to the genre — not unforgettable, but consistently engaging and highly satisfying while it lasts.

Finished the game (main game+dlcs) with almost 80 hours of playtime here is my take on the game. Story:The story is interesting enough to carry you to the ending, but it never fully delivers on the darker fantasy tone it seems to promise. While marketed as a grim revenge-driven narrative, the actual themes lean more toward classic JRPG ideals like freedom, equality, and breaking away from societal labels. These themes aren’t bad, but they feel mismatched with the game’s presentation and world. The plot often feels far-fetched, characters lack relatability, and emotional investment is low, which hurts immersion. Although the background lore is appreciated and a few scenes are genuinely captivating, strong moments are too infrequent. Poor pacing—especially dumping side quests and DLC content right before the finale—further disrupts the narrative flow and makes optional content feel like a chore rather than meaningful expansion.Score: 6/10 Gameplay:The strongest aspect of the game. FFXVI succeeds as a full-action, hack-and-slash experience, delivering smooth, satisfying combat that feels good to play. However, encounters rarely demand varied approaches, so combat can become repetitive over time. RPG mechanics are extremely shallow, which can disappoint players expecting a traditional RPG. That said, the cinematic Eikon battles are standout moments—over-the-top, visually stunning, and memorable—even if their mechanical depth is limited.Score: 8/10 Performance:The weakest part of the experience. While the game is relatively stable and largely bug-free, the PC performance is disappointing. Issues such as memory leaks, frame-rate drops, forced 30 FPS cutscenes, and general optimization problems create recurring frustration. For a flagship title from a major franchise, the quality of the port feels subpar.Score: 6/10 Overall:I had fun throughout most of the playthrough, but the game falls short of being a strong Final Fantasy entry. Its ambitions outpace its execution, resulting in an enjoyable but uneven experience. Final Score: 6.6/10

100% Completed Story – 6.5/10 A classic, old-school adventure tale that fits Indy’s vibe. Not deep or emotional and Not the strongest narrative, but fun, well-paced, and engaging enough to keep you playing. Comedic moments feel nostalgic. Main story is solid; side content is mediocre but not bad. Overall: simple but effective, like an ‘80s adventure film. Gameplay – 8/10 Surprisingly strong despite first-person skepticism. Combat is satisfying, slightly janky (in a human, Indy-appropriate way). Exploration is the best part — rewarding, meaningful, and fun to complete. Upgrades and collectible hunting feel worthwhile - Not necessary but rewarding. Generally engaging from start to finish. One of the better movie-adaptation gameplay systems in years. Performance – 7/10 Stable and bug-free in my playthrough, but far too demanding for the visual payoff. Required low settings because the game would crashes on higher presets even though my laptop can run most modern games in 1080p on high setting just fine. Occasional texture streaming delays. Still playable and looks good. Overall – 7.2/10 One of the "Good" game in my opinion. Surprisingly strong, faithful movie-to-game adaptation. Maybe not GOTY material But absolutely a standout action-adventure contender. A “dark horse” game that nails the spirit of Indiana Jones with solid gameplay and enjoyable pacing.
