Amazing work really. As Grace it does have really good spookyness and Leon feels just SO good to play, killing zombies has never felt so satisfying! And the graphics I mean damn, just so good! Goty prospect for sure man.
100% recommend this is fantastic, my fav Nioh game by far and if it keeps up my current game of the year. Its just so fun and addictive to play, I had 15 hours in the demo plus the 48 hours so far on full release. Man its just so good.
Very good game, man everything McMillen makes i have enjoyed to varying degrees. But this is by far may favorite, its addicting to play and there is so much to do, its just really fun. Man early Goty contender, gotta love it. (And yes humor is subjective and some might not vibe with that. But even when the gross out stuff or humor that doesnt necessarily hit with me happens i can overlook it because the game itself is just so much fun)
This game is easily the best in the trilogy of games. Their Elden ring if you will. On my mid-range PC it runs great, the aesthetic is quite nice especially some of the vistas and dungeons. The combat's the best it's ever been feels great being able to respec at any time is a great change. Easy game of the year contender for me so far. Keep it up team Ninja!
This game is really freaking good, I don't really get most of the complaints I have seen. I have enjoyed all of it, the NPCs that people complain about are fine, and it feels good to drive around in the open desert area as the motorcycle is quite fun to control even running over the crystals has a satisfying smash to it. The environments for the dungeons are stunning quite frankly, and the music to go along with them is atmospheric and quite great actually. I love how the dungeons change at different stages and the puzzles in and of themselves, and the lore that's mixed in. This is one of the more immersive Metroid games and I'm glad they experimented with more people with Samus, I personally was not as much of a fan of the loneliness aspect as a lot of others so it's a nice change in my opinion. Anyway fantastic game easy 10 out of 10, people really do blow things out of the water.
It may lack in modern graphics but still runs smooth and the combat gameplay is quite ****'t wait to see if maybe in the next full gen they will boost it even more.
With the demo included im about 40ish hours in and it feels so good. I have played the original and i loved it too, but this remake just makes it that much more fun as the combat feels really good and the extra voice acting is nice to as the original outside combat really didnt have any. Anyway cant wait for second chapter where the games start getting even better.
Man, it is a really good game, one of the few times that a game with this much hype holds pretty dang true to the hype. I love the original game, it was difficult, fun, engrossing the way the story is and the art is really nice and the music it's another complete package to be really true there. But this game is also really dang good, and the movement just feels really dang good. And the visuals actually manage to look better with time resolution and graphics technology even being2d. Another game of the year contender dang.
Man, i was hoping that this would be even better than the first game and im glad to say that it most definitely was. I liked the 1st game but I love this one. The graphics make me happy i have a ps5 pro, and performance mode is chefs kiss fantastic, it makes the environment pop off so much more and just makes ya want to take a knee and perch up in high places, its so pretty. The story once again is king and somehow steps up especially with the main cast, though Sam feels more silent for some reason, it didnt hurt my enjoyment just something i noticed. The game play was also so much better, the QOL was godlike and made it very much a, "Just one more delivery" kind of thing. Anyway this takes a comfy second place for my goty right behind Expedition 33, man this is a great year for fantastic games. :)
Man they had a streak when it came to 2016 and Eternal back to back and it was great, but sadly they did not go 3 for 3. The removal of the Glory kills was downright criminal when I came to game feel it when from a 10 outta 10 feels wise down to a 4ish and **** the fun outta the room. Then they removed the kickass Mick Gordan music... and there when the rest of the combat feel, now it just sad, a shell of its former fun. Im glad I have game pass cause with the job they did on it they don't deserve full price, and with how they flubbed everything with Mick, now we never get to hear that god tier soundtrack ever again sadness man just sadness.
This game has been really dang good, it surprised me at how much i enjoyed it as i dont engage in alot of multiplayer when i play souls games. But this game really won me over and it looks like they will patch the game some more which can only make it better. I love the 8 characters you can play so far and im stoked to hear they will be adding more (With also more bosses). A different flavor of souls game that is a dang good romp. And it runs better than fromsofts last few launches which is great.
This game is great. The story VERY Danganronpa in alot of ways and is very interesting. The tactical gameplay is really fun and not too easy to start and gets harder as you go, i look forward to seeing what extra layers are gunna be added as we go. The game ran great though its not very demanding to begin with. The english VA is good though somewhat sparse though if you are already a Danganronpa fan it wont really bother ya. But man very fun and def recommend
What can I say about this game except it is exceptional. The story just blows me away like really though especially the back half. Just so many emotions tears some Joy. Like man just like nier automata I love this game. The characters are fantastic and voiced really well with really nice actors, they all knocked it out of the park. And the combat is my absolutely favorite thing about it it revolutionizes jrpg style combat as well as just revitalizing it, I would love to see more games with a similar thing Incorporated. Easy game of the year so far.
Played this back on the Wii u and loved it there and here it is amazing. I don't know how they do this when they remake/remaster stuff but monolith soft did this to a great degree. I swear they are wizards when it comes to remaking and just plain making stuff like this and making switch games look as good as they do. Other companies can't do it nearly as well. It's just like I remember it in some ways and in other ways it's much improved. And the quality of life they added is amazing. I love the almost mmo feel as well completing the map feels good, thete is just so much to love here. I've always thought x was underrated compared to the original trilogy and man it's just that good 100% recommended for all jrpg lovers
Another Brilliant game by Davey Wreden. He has a very great way with his writing on his game to hit emotional areas dang well and this new game of his does it again. The presentation is great and it is already hits alot of emotional areas throughout, it has brought me to tears several times. Man what a unique little gem.

The writing just **** with clashing lingo that does not belong in fantasy, in gta 5-6 sure go for it at least it can fit there but here its clashes and is just cringe. The gameplay while having some potential ends up feeling repetitive and kinda buttonmashy with "Spongy" enemies. And the game looks graphically pretty good with good optimization but as a dragon age game it def could have had a better art style. And The "Roleplay" aspect really dropped the ball, you cannot be an angry "Renegade" character so to speak the harshest you could be is just sooo soft i mean dang, if some fool pompous guy storms in demanding stuff i should be able to ask as they prompt "Who is this fool" as the character instead just says "Who is this" with not a hint of anger like really? Its supposed to be a role playing game so why do they railroad you into a lawful goody two shoes. Im so sad i wish this game could have lived up to the name but it simply.... Did not.

6 hours plus 10 in the demo and this game is amazing 100% recommend. The story, characters, battle system and music are all brilliant so far i could easily see this being GOTY.
This game F*****g rocks! Man the gameplay? Chunky awesome gory heart pounding action with hordes of enemies. The story, is a dang rad military style romp that was quite good. The graphics just blow me away. Dang man GOTY is gunna be a tight choice for me this year.
I really wanted to like this game, it had so much potential to be good. But sadly it is garbage, if only they took a slightly different direction and improved stuff it could have been great I am so sad. Is it really that hard to do a criminal underbelly of a universe in Star wars? Also I have no idea what they were thinking about how they did the combat/gameplay. If you're going to give us stealth make it good feeling stealth, and I mean come on the studio made the division the shooting should be better / feel better. The only good thing about this game is the graphics environmentally. It's cool as a almost art piece to drive around in on your speeder, but not much else sadly.
Man this game so far in the middle of it, and it's amazing. Wasn't sure what to expect when I heard Mana was coming back and this definitely passed my expectations. Still very much feels like mana, bringing it to a more modern time graphically obviously it's not realistic graphics but you get what I mean. So far the story is enjoyable and I'm actually enjoying the characters as well. It's a dang shame that looks like this team might be shut down because their work so far it looks pretty damn good to me. This is on my fast track to one of my games of the year easily top three. And that's boring we don't get any twists later on or anything epic might sneak its way to my top we'll see.
Man, this game is easily My game of the Year this year utterly fantastic. The combat is fluid and feels really good, with really cool skill trees with many diverse options to pick from so the progression feels really good. Also crafting gear and weapons is a nice touch and a good difference from regular dark souls style games. The gear bonuses really do help and add some extra fun the options. The music fits thematically and is amazing, I don't listen to Chinese music often unless you Mihoyo games, but the music in wukong is really good. The bosses are all of great quality, and there are a ton of them. Anyway it's the complete package, and next to Elden ring one of my favorite action games of the year. 100% worth buying also it's beautiful graphically as long as you have a good computer totally worth it.

Rise of the ronin was fantastic, man Team Ninja has to be one of my favorite devs. I loved all the Nioh games and Wo long was also pretty dang good. But Rise of the ronin, man its sure is a culmination of alot of their best stuff. Its got that great combat they are known for which is oh so satisfying. The story was good, their usual level, gets ya from a to b and seeing the historical figures is always interesting. Man just a real great game, Cant wait to see what they got coming next.

Audio- Also great! A lot of it like Nier but the rest is also great!
Graphics- Pretty dang good lacking is some spots (Cant wait for a PC ver)

Overall- Easy 10 i love souls like stuff and action combat, this game is my bread and butter! Only thing is the whole Censorship thing, it **** and bothers me i hope they undo it man. You can just say in your marketing that its uncensored when thing were clearly changed in a way the does censor stuff. Any way minus that debacle the rest is great.

And for a fromsoft game it has a good story too, and it's the most they have done with new game plus in forever. This and Balders Gate have just been so good, this year just rocks. A shame people who can't handle the difficulty feel the need to call the game trash. Maybe it's just not for u and you should stick to something easier you can handle.

This is game of the year easy! Only thing that I could say negative is some minor performance issues. Other than that it is true excellence, and I'll haven't played a better game all year. Some were close but Balders Gate ended up king.
This game is amazing! Absolutely love the way the story is told and the politics. It is very cool. I've loved all of the main characters, Clive at the top and Cid is fantastic. The combat feels very fluid, and yeah it does remind me of devil May cry in all the best ways. And the music. Oh god the music, this guy knows how to do it. It's so epic, and even the more somber / slower tunes are really nice. I think they knocked it out of the park with this game, I hope they keep it up for final fantasy 17 whenever that occurs. Looks like tears of the Kingdom has a rival for game of the year.
Easy 10/10, somehow surpasses the original Breath of the wild in pretty much every way which is an accomplishment all itself. Im what i feel is about halfway throughish so far and it has been a joy to play and is very hard to put down. The story feels better this time with more stakes it feels like with some cool twists. The new ability's are awesome and very creative, I like them even more then the ones in Botw. The music once again while sparse is quite nice, and when there is more specific moment pieces it is even better. I cant wait to finish this game, but so far it might very well be my game of the year.
Easily better than genshin and many ways. The change of pace and it not being an open world is actually very refreshing. The combat is great, all the ultimates and animations for the moves look really good. The music as always from this dev is fantastic, they just don't miss when it comes to the audio. Also, the story and characters are prime, and very clean I greatly look forward to seeing what they add next. And of course, this gets many negative reviews because people just hate on gotcha all the time. Also the people's super low attention spans. Hate turn-based nowadays and don't understand it. I mean come on at least hate on it for valid reasons lol, this game is quality and a lot of people are just babies when it comes to some stuff. Anyway, great game! Definitely recommend, easy 10 out of 10. Haven't been able to pull myself away.
This game is great! It feels very Harry Potter, the setting and vibe is perfect. The combat is much better than trailers made it seem and the spell selection is quite nice. The exploration frankly rocks, very large areas and the flying is a great way to get around, very fun. and the castle itself is very large and a joy to explore, its fantastic vibes. The characters are also very good and natural feeling. I could not really expect much more from this, so far game of the year, at least until Zelda comes round

while the game might not be perfect , it is really fun. Yeah the overworld is a little drab in places, and the pop-in is a little distracting. The actual feel of the gameplay is great. I love the digital worlds, the combat actually feels kind of nice too. I hope they keep this formula for more sonic games to come. And that they refine some of the elements. If they do that on the next game, it could easily be a 10

This game is interesting, fun and downright adorable. Playing as a cat feels unique and i really like the overall experience. And getting it with the Playstation plus for free is awesome.
