One more dull but beautiful open world game. A world filled with copy paste fetch side quests with super boring and anticlimax rewards, might as well be one more ubisoft game. Fun combat! Lovely detailed assets and textures. But, why so flat and basic? Why always so flat and basic when it comes to all these open world games. Missing all soul and love.

Really fun and good combat but like most ubisoft games, its big and soulless. But still more fun to explore in this one then in any assassin creed games. Cliche Disney narration and dialogue, goofiness and puns, so the worst kind of dialogue.

Sure this is maybe one more copy paste open world game but it had something that say the assasin creed series is missing. How the story is told with just a few important characters gives the game a better focus the many other open world games. And also japanese history will always stand out. The games takes itself serious, far from cocky, nerdy classic videogame dialogue that I am used to but also tired of. But yeah its copy paste, you doing the same thing with very few suprises but I still enjoyed the playthrough.

Cocky glowing retro vibe. Colors, movement and neon. Yes the style, the puls is super rad but I just dont find the core gameplay and story interesting, level design is also very messy. I just lost interest to even care quite early. To bad, had follow the production for a while but it didnt tickle my interest in the end.

first of, this is my first souls game ever. I always been interested mainly because of the art and bizarre vibe where nothing is like you think it should. But the main thing that kept me away is the degree of difficulty. I play a lot of games, always solo. All from big AAA to smaller indie games and I have nothing against a challenge but I am not the one that want to repeat the same boss over and over and learn the exact the movement pattern like a rhythm game. I want my adventure and then move to the next one, don´t have time to become the best for a specific game when three more waiting to be played. But with all that said I felt that I needed to test this one and I loved it! Sure I had to level up like a madman to get through some bosses but still, I loved the exploration, to never know what strange thing waiting around the next corner. It ended up that I visited the whole damn map and probably did most things you could do. So here comes some pros and cons.. + Few open world games can really surprise me and want me to explore. Before it was probably only zelda breath of the wild that gave me the same tension. so this is super rare. Not like all the copy paste games ala ubisoft where you know almost exactly whats up around the next corner even in a newly area. + the twisted art direction. Sure its not the latest high tech materials and vfx but the art direction is super unique and thats more important then shiny god of war tiled materials. + So much love put into areas thats not on the main story line. Areas that is super easy for the player to miss. - online mode. Yeah I know this is the one of the main thing about the game, but I turned it off directly. To see other players jump around,, glowing messages all over the world and so on ruined the loneliness and the vulnerability vibe, I want this to be only mine adventure. But easy fix, just turn it of. Sure, you will miss all the hints buts its up to you to explore even more now. - A bit flat NPC:s. Just standing there and say their lines and then not so much more. Would prefer a bit more complex ones, moving around, doing their thing.

A extremely beautiful made game. More feelings than pure gameplay. + The level art is amazing. Love the colorful lightings. + Animations gave cat and robots life. + Mystical and good world setting. - I have nothing against simple puzzles but most of the puzzles was boring simple, go and find this and so on. Would prefer a simple gameplay but you get rewarded with something visually. Simple puzzles can still have a touch of something deeper.

Cyberpunk 20779
Aug 27, 2022
First of all I always wait when it comes to AAA games. Usually wait one year or longer after release. The game is both on sale, most of the dlc are out and most important, the game is patched up. And Cyberpunk 2077 is no exceptions. I think its one and a half year now after cyberpunk came out. Anyway here is my pros and cons + One of the best well written games I even played. deep characters, exciting story and interesting side quests. + beautiful environment. Nice details in materials and really good lighting. + Both sex and relations status is well made, not as cheesy as it usually are. Its made both fumbling and loving. + Super good animations, characters don't feel stiff. + I love the soundtrack! - to much loot that you stop caring. To many weapons, clothes and consumables. And in the end you still look like a cyberclown. I prefer how they did with assasins creed valhalla after AC: Odyssey. Fewer stuffs to collect that feels more important. Now when you find weapons they are just one step from getting sold. Could be more focus on the world and the fighting if less loot was dropped. Maybe just find loot that's be used for upgrading your favorite stuffs. - The different between Normal and Hard mode is to high. Would be nice with something in between. good game!

this was my first ever assassins' creed game. + Fun combat, easy to move around in the world + Nice looking game, beautiful water and beaches . + Mechanarys was a nice game mechanic. + The cult mechanic was nice. Would work better with less hold handing and let the player do more detective work. - Big world filled with copy paste locations. Not very exciting to explore the world, never got that Zelda BoTw feeling. - The quests is also very copy paste. Would be better to have fewer but more complex and interesting quests. - becomes boring after a while to just kill humans. - Cheesy love relationships.

So sad that such a beatiful game with so interesting art direction can be so boring. I really looked forward to this game but stopped playing after chapter 4. Wall after wall of text filled with flat boring dialogue and pun humour. Dont know why so many indie games persists to choose the nerdy pun humour to tell their stories. The more action filled parts of the game is pretty fun but mostely you just run between different characters and talk unintresting dribble.

I really wanted to like this game. But as for many others the main sellingpoint was the gorgeous pixel art. The things that made me to not recommend this game was: * The gamedesign: Boring puzzles and leveldesign. * To much dialogue: Don´t get me wrong, I love when the charaters is giving some personality, but not when I have to pause time after time to wait for the characters to say something none important stuffs when I am right in a good flow. * To much effects on the screen. Lovely pixel effects and animations but to much, makes the combat to messy. Weapons that makes the whole screen red. * The hit system. When the player is hit he usully hits the ground and looses so much flow in the gameplay that its just gets annoying.

I got big Azure Dreams vibes from the early trailers for this game. Don´t get me wrong, it´s a ok game, a nice little adventure. Besides all the bugs I had I was missing some puzzles and more secrets in the dungeons. Hit a wall, move a statue, hit stuffs in a special order, find some strange writings, anything that will give the dungeons more interesting deep and exploration. And why not have strange random characters in the town that both give you missions, strange items or whataver, just to make the town more interesting and a reason to explore it more. But I can understand, probly money and time like always when you have to kill your darlings in game production. But overallt, a ok game.

Had rather high expectations about this game and unfortunately, they never reached that level. I think the biggest problem is the messy graphics thats becomes a big bowl of psychedelic effects when you are up to four players. But in the other hand, we probably play the game the wrong way as the game wanted us to play it. Instead of taking it easy we stressed around in sheer panic. I will give it one more chance, but for now I can not recommend this game.

Can start by saying that this game is god damn beautiful! Open world nature when its the best. But like with all open world AAA games they sometimes becomes a bit repeating, even witcher 3. One tip is to vary main story with bigger sidequest and location quests (the "?" on the map). I did the mistake to start with alot, and then I meen ALOT of "?" quests so my level become significantly higher then the main quest that now become a bit to easy even on a higher difficulty level. Could go into small details that could have been done differently but damn, better to just say, overall this game is wonderful!

Sorry I cant play this. Team 17 games is one of the reasons I started to make my own games and then later work in the game industry. Something just feels odd, maybe the controls, the bad "HD" graphics, I dont know. :/
