FAR: Changing Tides
Although it doesn't add much to the first game, it still manages to give the same pleasure.
FAR: Changing Tides has the player traverse through a submerged post-apocalyptic world, which is an experience that feels like a playable documentary. While definitely a fascinating journey to take, you won’t be able to fully appreciate it if you haven’t played its predecessor.
FAR: Changing Tides is a phenomenal atmospheric game, as the visuals and sound design amalgamate wonderfully. However, you might be disappointed if you go into it expecting more.

Played for an hour, very boring, went online to see if it gets better, one user wrote it's slow and they couldn't wait for it to be over. An hour is all I'll give it, moving on. Glad I got it on sale so only wasted $6.

I loved the first game and this one surpasses it in every aspect. Its has more fluidity than the first one because you dont have to find trash all the time to make fuel. Regardless I prefer "Lone Sails" because it was a fresher concept when I played it.I hope that they make a third game to put the ribbon in this world they created.

It is not a bad game, but now it’s not enough. There is no such atmosphere like in the first part and without it the game just does not feel as it should. Maybe it’s the visuals or the sound, but it lost what it had. Overall, it’s just a kinda ok game and the same as any other kinda ok games.

All-in-all, FAR Changing Tides does all the right things you want from a sequel. It makes visible improvements over the first game, while also not overshadowing what that game did brilliantly. On the other hand, those who couldn’t get on with the original’s micromanagement aspects won’t find it to be anymore lenient.

Yes, 2 and a half years later, we get the deserved FAR sequel, with more gimmicks, more world-building (even though some doesn't make sense) and a much more satisfying ending to bookend these two relaxing games!

Truly a masterpiece! I really liked the first game, but this one was amazing. The soundtrack and art were just surreal and made the experience completely worth the trip. The ship is really cool to use and i'm glad that there is more control over the vehicle than the first one, however it's a bit hard to keep track of everything. While this game is not for everyone, I personally had fun from start to finish.

It’s not a long game and the adventure arrives at the credits before you know it, but for what it has going, FAR: Changing Tides is a compelling and gorgeous puzzle full of satisfying mechanical engagement and incredible breakthrough moments as you sail ever forward.

Far: Changing Tides lacks some of what made its predecessor truly special, but it’s still another lovely roadtrip to take.

Far: Changing Tides might be too easy for an experienced gamer, and its sailing mechanics require too much attention and get tiringly repetitive, but this somewhat melancholic puzzle platformer undeniably has a unique atmosphere and charm to it. Overall, I enjoyed Far: Lone Sails (Okomotive’s previous game) more.

Far: Changing Tides didn’t offer up enough puzzles for my liking, but don’t let that get in your way if you’re looking for a game that gives you time to unwind. It could do with more interactive elements, but Far: Changing Tides uses beautiful set design and a touching score to capture a precious sense of hope in a drowned world.

Slightly worse than first one but still enjoyable af some tasks felt tedious and felt less post apocalyptic than the first one.

Got bored. Just play the first game. It's much better. It seems everything from the first game is reused but is made less dramatic, more mundane and more tedious. The scenery or the music does not impress any more and I could not bother trying to connect with the unengaging story.
