There's a scene halfway through this movie where Metamorpho is crying. I too started crying, but it was because I still had the other half of the movie to watch. This thing is a disaster. I actually like James Gunn films, but this went off the rails. I truly believe that the positive critic reviews are paid for b/c no critic would give high marks to this. Just to be clear, the actors are good actors. This criticism is directed solely at Gunn who forgot his true self and is now using paid ads to save his DC Universe.

So this is not actually a good movie. It has good parts to it, but there's something really wrong with the story and the story pacing. It's almost as if some producer got in there and started changing plot holes to try and increase the emotion. Brad Pitt is always a good actor and Javier Bardem is underutilized. Not sure what happened here. It's an Apple Movie...

I gave this an 9, even though it's probably a little lower. Some good moments, good acting, no discernible political agenda, and possibly back on track for the main goal of entertainment vs. consumer programming. There were definitely some story gaps, but with this movie, you can spend 2 hours watching a decent comic book flick and not regret it.

I support our men in the armed services, so if this film helps them, then mission accomplished; however, there is simply no reason for this film or for the high marks. The casting is way off. One of the main guys looks like wilmer valderrama, and I kept waiting for some type of comic relief. My best guess is consumers are so starved for an actual good film, that we'll rejoice when something like this comes along. If you want an actual good war film, check out Hurt Locker.

Absolutely amazing. First, it's not the Raid/Raid 2, and it doesn't involve martial arts to any large degree. It's a very simple cop story with a focus on visuals and action. The gun work is really top notch. Evans has really stepped up his visuals game and it shows throughout the movie. I gave this a 10 b/c it was entertaining and I could watch it with other people, not being surprised with some type of political agenda. Great work cast and crew!

Surprisingly good. I'm not a big woody harrelson fan, so I avoided this movie at first. The acting was solid and the cinematography good. The story really keeps this thing together. If there was any political/DEI message, I didn't get that vibe. Overall, much better than the junk that is currently in the theaters.

More DEI junk. White guy president is the bad guy, black guy who tries to assassinate president is good guy. Make sure new falcon is a latin guy. There's a reason DEI fails b/c it produces subpar products. Anthony Mackie/Harrison Ford good actors, but this is a fail.

Umm. What? A good example of good actors/crew making a bad movie. This is a waste of time, poorly produced, and damages the Matrix brand. Someone should have taken the blue pill and stayed inside the first three Matrix movies. I'm giving this a "1" because this review is written at Christmas time.

Absolutely amazing. This is a reason to go to the movies. Took my 9 year old to the Dolby 3D and we both were happy to spend the time. Thanks for a good movie!

Good movie, not perfect, but good. Zack Snyder does some really great stuff to help bring comic books to life. I liked the villain too. More work to be done, but fun, and enjoyable in 3D.

Just got home from the movie. Extremely good movie, BUT be aware that this is more like a war movie with the Star Wars brand. I took my 6 year old and he was very bored (he was fine during "Force Awakens"). Noting those facts, this is perhaps one of the better movies from the Star Wars brand... great acting, sets, effects and tie in to the franchise. Perhaps think of it as Star Wars Episode 3.5! Good Work!

I would give it an "11" for the IMAX effort, but Metacritic is unforgiving in this area. I took my 6 year old to see it today, and it is really well done. Acting is strong on all levels and it is a nice change of pace from "typical" super hero movies. There is a little language and no nudity (so feel confident about taking your kids). I said it above, and I know it's pricey, but this is a time to budget out an IMAX movie and take a couple of hours out of the day. Nice work cast and crew!

There's no way this can be considered better than much hated Batman v. Superman (which I liked). The talented actors and director of this movie created a big mess, and they somehow ditched their winning formula from "future past" to create "2012" meets "xmen 3". If you have kids, they will love it, but this is by no means good cinema.

Not a bad movie... Chris Evans and Scarlett make the roles fun to watch. The fight scenes are great, and I don't mind the Winter Soldier idea, BUT, this is not a great film, not meaningful like the first film. Also, I love Anthony Mackie, but if I have to watch him fly around with those crazy wings in each movie, I'll go insane. The film makers need to make the falcon cooler.
