It's alright, but i can't really warm up to it. It's very, very arcady. Some people might like that tho. The world design is great but neither the character nor items or consumables seem to fit in. Pickups are either super-bright, colored like candy or bob up and down while violently flashing. It might not sound severe but it is really irritating. Like... the chainsaw you rip out **** body in Doom 2016, or the rifle you tear from a dead soldies arms. In Doom 2020 they just hover on the ground in the dedicated weapon room at some point in the level, flashing wildly. This diconnect carries over into the sound design and animations. For one it's really strong and snappy but now and then you have this comical sounds - like when some headshots or ripping out a cacodemons eye will make an audible 'pop' sound that could come straight out of a kids tv show. It might sound super-petty but imagine listening to a metal opera and every now and then the lead goes 'hyuck-hyuck' like Goofy. Gameplay wise it's good with even more emphasis on movement and a lot more enemies to fight and manage. The pistole is now gone which ... i can understand, but the replacement is that you now always have 1 fuel for the chainsaw with which to kill lesser enemies. The resulting candy explosion is your main way of regenerating ammo. And that's something that does not work for me. When i fight a big demon it's just tideous to turn around and look for one of the endlessly spawning minor zombies so i can get some ammo back. By now every now and then when it happens i roll my eyes with a sigh. Doomguy itself started bulking and went from just an angry guy who had enough of this **** to stereotypic antihero with a heart of gold, that constantly gets told by everyone how awesome they are. They really go out of the way with pampering the player. Not my favorite design choice. All that said, it's still a good shooter. It's still an id shooter and they managed to get some fun new gameplay mechanics that act as modifiers on the existing combat. If everything of my complaints sounded like minor issues, you might want to give it a try.

On a basic level, FAllout 76 is fun. It's fun to explore the map with friends, listen to audio diaries and shoot a few crystal zombies. However, after about three hours a feeling starts to settle in that you've seen all there is. Fallout 76s world is functional. Someone really had fun with the map editor. They're on-pair with Fallout 4, in some cases even better. The places feel lived-in and every town went trough little transformations that where build by the survivors. Shame you don't meed a single one of them. What you meet are crystal zombies, molerats, wild dogs and ghouls that will some times spawn in hordes five meters behind you like in an early 2000s mmo whenever the game feels you need some action. Not that it would be a challenge tho. You can easily outperform the ai by simple walking backwards and shoot the approaching enemies. Often enough they will bug on reaching you, make their attack animation. Then stand there for a second like they just forgot what they wanted to do before approaching you once again. Public quests are similiar. I've seen more interesting ones in RIFTS initial release - in 2011. But they don't matter - the loot that they offer doesn't matter. Like most loot in the game. After finding more then fifty pipe pistols it starts to get tideous. Fallout 76 feels like Fallout 4 - just less. Less crafting. Less building. Less enemies. Less character development. I would write less rpg too, but the truth is that Fallout 76 isn't an rpg anymore. It's a mediocre shooter with progression trough lootboxes. It's noteworthy that there's a surprising lack of clothing and furniture in the game. The cynic in me assumes that it has to do with the built-in online shop. As the 60$ initial cost where merely an entry fee to the shop. Here you can buy hats for 5$, power armor paintjobs for up to 20$ or new furniture for your base. As well as looks for your character and other cosmetics. Even clothing. Which is kinda neeeded if you want to stick out. The Character Editor is even more basic then Fallout 4s, which is baffling considering this is a multiplayer title. You will see the same 15 faces again and again. Because that's all you get. Last but not least is the inventory management and menu control: It's bad. On the pc, building a base feels like playing the Piano. There was no effort in improving controls. It's really, really dissapointing. Fallout 76 feels like something the B team made with existing assets. A quirky little thing for learning and testing the waters. Sold for 20 bucks. But it's not. It's a fully fledged product for 60$ with an in-game shop containing items for hundreds of dollars. And to me, it feels like someone wanted to make the most money with the least amount of work possible. The truly nefarious could even go as far and say that it's another take on paid mods by turning the Fallout franchise in a 'live service'

Someone on the Steam Forums compared the game to an Call of Cthulhu pen and paper session and that's a pretty good comparison. The evening starts off with the new storyteller who's still a bit shy and messes up their notes and quite often just doesn't manage to make a good scene tranition. They eventuall work through it and the game starts to gain speed. It's fun and everyone's having a good time. As the evening goes on however, he's having a beer to much and the session starts to get a bit weird. However, everyone had fun and you leave in a good mood. The graphics are average at their best and pretty bad at their lowest. Puzzles are alright and there is no combat system. It's primarily narratively and stealth focused. It's also not a lovecraftian monster cabinet - which is good, because the game is at its best when there isn't a monster around. Much like Soma, which is a good comparison as well. In the end, if you're looking for an interactive lovecraft story, this game is currently your best bet as far as i'm aware off. If you look for a lot of cool lovecraftian monsters and a bigger focus on combat, this game might not be what you are looking for.

Urban Empire is not a city building game. In Urban Empire your main goal will be to stay in control. If you want to place something as trivial as a police station, you have to be able to pay for it, pay the service costs, have your political allies and enemies approve it during a vote and be sure that the running costs don't kill your city long time. Personally, i didn't have any technical issues but there's some reports in the Forums you might wanna check out. The overall gameplay is fine but feels lacking in some aspects and now and then it's not exactly clear how some things play together until you've done some trial and error. However, overall it still makes for a good and unique game. If you're looking for a city builder, there are better options available. If you're looking for something you have to work into and quite time intensive, but is quite rewarding this might be for you.

Played the first four hours straight and in the end had to bring myself to stop playing. Prey is a pretty good adventure and a pretty bad shooter. As the lack of ironsights already suggests, conventional weapons are just one way to disable or kill enemies. It's as legitimate as the use of vending machines, hacking, nerf guns, enviroment or your old friend the explosive barrel. Graphics are mediocre but the atmosphere is spot on. No stylistic minimalism and holographic space magic but good old hard sci-fi with a huge portion of art deco. The comparisons to Bioshock are pretty legit if it comes to the art style. What made the game for me was the freedom. Before the main story even took off i explored the place for hours and powered my character up with some items i'm pretty sure where supposed to be not accessible for most of the people until a few more hours in. But you can absolutly get them if you put in the time and effort. It makes for a great feeling of progress and building up your character. In the end, if Prey is for you depends mainly on the question if you're looking for a shooter or an exploration game with strong emphasis on character development (in terms of gameplay). Get it for the latter.

PC specific: I played the game at 1440p with a GTX 1080 and didn't run in any trouble. However especially users with AMD cards seem to have trouble with various crashes. So you might look that up if you're using an AMD card. Especially the RX4xx series. During the first ~10 hours of the game, i might've given Nier: Automata a solid 7 / 10. Good gameplay that suffers from its out ambitions in a rather underperforming enviroment. Fun, but lacking in some aspects. Especially after the first few hours the game starts to get somewhat mundane and it needs a few hours to catch up with itself. It's difflicult to rate Nier: Automata without spoiling it, so let me put it that way: It doesn't feel like a focustestet product that's developed to match a certain target audience. This game was made by people who don't give a **** about the player and who just wanted to make the thing they wanted. Depending on how you vibe with those people, you either enjoy Automata tremendously or not at all. My 9/10 comes from a feeling i didn't had in a long time. It's most similiar to the feeling i had playing jrpgs as a child. Moving trough a foreign world in which everything could happen at any time. And that's worth quite a bit to me. For others, it might not worth be anything at all.

Horizon Zero Dawn

I'm suffering quite a bit from open world fatigue. I only got Horizon because the creature design appealed to me and my favorite reviewers all recommended it. Since i would rate it 9 out of 10, i crealy didn't regret it. Here are some reasons why it got that 9 and why it didn't get the 10. Playing it on a Pro and the graphics are very well done. Not only the fidelity but atmosphere, colors and just overall ogranic feel. Biomes merge into each other smoothly with very few times where the ambient color suddenly shifts or things like that. Overgrown ruins, valleys and sparse forests all feel organic. Most cities and settlements feel like places where people actually live. There are pop ins and some textures still aren't loaded when you close enough to notice it, but that's not a frequent issue. Gameplay is fun, but i would recommend anyone starting on hard. Smaller machines still aren't much of a threat but bigger ones require a thoughtful approach and gear upgrades. One of the bigger gripes is that you can have maxed out you gear half-way trough if you focus on side missions instead of the main quest branches. While there are some cool and unique things you can get in the late game, i would've wished for more weapon variety instead of just ammunition variety. Human enemies are forgetable and often more an annoyance then a threat. But the machines are negating this shortcoming. Every part of their armor can be destroyed to reveal underlying systems and weapons which are vulnerable to specific damage types. On bigger machines, that's up to 20+ hit zones including the weapons and weak points itself. It's a lot of fun. What surprised me most was the story. It's a very solid sci-fi story with some twists and turns that aren't easily predictable. From times to times, it even plays with what you would expect from a videogame and then turns it against you. But that's somewhat common nowdays so no extra points for that. What's worth extra points is the fact that, at least the main characters and most of the side quest characters, interact in a very natural way. These people are believable and it just doesn't feel 'video-gamey'. It's overall a very believable wordl - and that says something if it is populated by techno-goats and cyber persians. Also the way in which the ui and the old ones are introduced was very statisfing. Then there's this thing about pushing a feminist or sjw agenda. Personally, i'm neither liberal or conservative. I've opinions that stroll into both camps. There's a tribe in the game which is a matriarchy that is ruled by three female characters. They also have a cult going that surrounds around a primordial mother. Which is one of the oldest religious concepts of mankind. Their religion and soceity makes complete sense in the context of the story. Also, there are black people in the game. That's about it. Other regions are modeled after different religious and cultural aspects. One even quite the macho club with veiled women. So i cannot support the statement that the game pushes any agenda. Instead it seems to be a very well researched world influenced by different historical cultures. Overall, i would recommend this game to almost anyone. If you're into the story: There's plenty of it and it's shown in a great manner. If you're not into the story, there's a lot of hunting quests to be done and a lot of exploration to do.

BF:G is a niche title and far from perfect. Initially i had hoped for another type of game and needed quite a few hours to get accustomed to it. What me caught in the end was the very enjoyable multiplayer. It has its balancing issues, but i'll take that over a homogenized approach on gameplay that provides everyone the exact same experience at any time. BF:Gs multiplayer will punish you for doing it wrong but gives you the tools to come up with a strategy of your very own. The campaign is fine and captures the spirit of WH40k very well. Some of the cutscenes like the orks intorduction are pretty awesome. Overall, it's very solid for what it is.

Gameplay seemed alright. Like a mix of Bloodborne and DS1. I would like to tell you more about the gameplay and world of DS3, but i can't. It crashes so often that i can't be asked to bother anymore. Crashes occured randomly, most likely when bonfires where involved. Graphic settings, especially lightning, on low help a great deal but there's still the chance that the game will randomly crash if visiting a bonfire. The issue mentioned above will eventually get fixed but was already known by the time review builds where out. I So, what did they do in the four weeks it has already been released in japan and the two months in which preview builds where out? Was the whole thing just to create coverage instead of creating a meaningful day one patch? I don't have any idea. But for me and many others, the game is barely playable.

Was alright. Didn't hate it. Didn't like it. It's just there. A perfectly streamlined and appealing experience that you can experience without experiencing anything. The Darkzone as an idea is interesting, but the mechanics are weired. The themepark currency kills off any atmosphere and right now just sitting at drop-off locations calling helicopters and killing off the spawning goons (which are no challenge whatsoever) is the most efficient way of getting said currency - with which you can buy gear to get more currency with which you buy more weapons to get more... you get the idea. But what works in lootershooters or mmos doesn't work here because there is no threat. You don't need that stuff.

Prepare to be constantly reloading. Xcom 2 is definetly more refined then its predecessor and i, personally, don't see the timers as inherently unfitting. They just may appear in too much missions. Xcom 2 tries a different approach on some things like the covert mode at mission begin. Also you're forced to use more soldiers, trying to make it less dreadful if you loose a soldier. And sometimes it works, but othertimes the mechanics trip over themselves. For example, during the covert mode you can't see the sight radius of an enemy that you haven't discovered yet. Also, if you attack a target during covert mode, you pull every enemy that is in your visibility into the fight. Which means that you want to have as little sight as possible or else you might easily pull a cascade of enemies that will completly destroy you. Enemies are far more dangerous now, with more special attacks and variety. Which is cool, but they're too strong fot the most part. A pack of 3 vipers will disable 3 of your soldiers in one turn, leaving you with another 3. If you have pulled two or three groups, you might as well reload. A mission may either run perfect or not at all. Which is a shame, because like this, there are no stories your soldiers can develop. Because they either suceed or die. There is no in-between. Also there are some bugs and a rather questionable performance. Overall, it's a good game. But it feels like it could've done well with three months more balancing and bug hunting.

Fallout 4 has flaws. Especially the dialogues and awkward start. But then, the game does a great job on telling story with world building. Most locations feel unique and quite a few tell a story of their own, just told by carefully aranged props, logs and notes, even without quests. Speaking of them, I helped a crew of robot pirates on a flying sail ship, i followed radio signals and found out about the entire history of a settlement from the brothers who founded it to the supermutants inhabiting it in 2282 and i found out about a boy exploiting his teacher who fed his students with mentats - shortly before discovering his mentats stash. Fallout was never about a controlled experience that feeds you content step by step, personally i fell like it was always was about observing and exploring instead of participating in a rollercoaster ride. With all the shortcomings the game has - and there are plenty of them - i'm happy they did things the way they did. The game might not be for everyone, and that's okay. Inform yourself before you buy- there are enough possibilities to do so.

Undertale is a weired thing that just happened. It remembers me a lot of the early 00s where the Internet spat out RPGMaker games in ridicioulus amounts. Aside from the 1001t Chrono Trigger clone, there where a lot of games coming from this which had really interesting and intriguing concepts that wheren't seen in professional game development just because no one could think of such a concept or set of mechanics could work in a commercial game. I feel like Undertale is such a game, while nothing entirely new it presents a fresh set of mechanics and ties them together in a unique way while telling a story that's compfortable somewhere between Earthbound and My Little Pony. And let's be entirely honest here, if someone had asked be if that could work out, i would had lughed at him then got a cup of tea to spat it in the persons face and then laughed some more. But in the end, Undertale turned out to remain in my personal Top list of RPGs right next to Chrono Trigger and Secret of Evermore. And that's quite something to archive out of nowhere. Undertale can give you quite a few of different experiences. It can either be a joyful comedy or get dark pretty fast. If you can get over the retro graphics and you're into the things mentioned above, then this game might be for you.

Soma is a great example of what a horror game can be. An interesting setting mixed with a very well crafted story that doesn't get carried by unexpectable twists but by the way the story is continously presented to the player. Soma comes pretty close to what defines sci-fi, not only the futuristic setting but also exploring the possibilities of the future and how they would affect the protagonist. Where Soma stumbles ist the feeling that it drags itself out for a little too long, much like Alien Isolation Soma doesn't know when to stop. After the eight easteregg hunt, even the monsters start to get just annoying as they keep you away from what you actually wand to experience. The story and strange world of Soma. However, at this point i was invested enough in the protagonists story and the one of his sidekick that i carried on. In the end, Soma is worth it for it's atmosphere alone but prepare for some drawn-out easter egg hunts inbetween.

AoA has many good approaches like ressources, off map support planes or the size and layout of maps. But the generic art style, barely distinguishable factions and weak tactical view hurt the game quite alot. At times, it feels like they stopped at some point as they where afraid to innovate too much and rather stick to the relatively safe classic RTS formula. Which is a shame, as AoA had the potential to be something more unique. AoA is a candidate for an extensive addon to fix up the rough edges.

With slightly improved visuals but no Multiplayer and Metagame, 'Zombi' is more a sidegrade of the WiiU version then an upgrade. Though controls work fine and the port is done well enough. Zombi is a below-average shooter but a pretty good survival game. If you're looking for the latter, it might be worth a look due to the relatively low pricepoint.

Dark Souls II: Scholar of the First Sin

User ScoreMasterhummel

The pricing policy aside, Scholar of the First Sin sucesfully attempts to fix some of the originals shortcomings like uninspired enemy placement, simple ai and behavior. For the most part, it succeeds. The new placement probably won't challenge veteran players too much but the slightly altered encounters will be very enjoyable for the regular player. So, why just a seven you may ask? It's because of the graphical sidegrade. While it is true that certain areas or encounters in the game look much better now (especially dark areas where a torch now is a viable option), there overhelming majority of the exterior just looks... off. Sometimes it even looks like you just loaded some low-effort SweetFX config. Colors are burned, shadows have the wrong saturation, textures are far too bright and washed out. Majula for example is so bright, you feel like you're on the surface of the moon (not kidding). I'm not really sure what to make of this, but it makes the game look far worse then the Original in some areas.

The thing with evolve is: I Feel like i bought a 60 Dollar Season Pass. Someone called the game a glorified DLC shopping mall. While i can't argue with that, i still think that there's a lot of fun to have with this game, but the price tag (you have to include the season pass as well as some of the content is literally stripped from the main game) is just not good. The game has great polish, but it can't overshadow the shortcomings that exist since the first open beta. Things like friends can't connect via online lobby and start a game (but very well can if one opens a game, starts it and then the other hot joins with some luck) those have been adressed by the community but never where adressed by the developer. Which even further feeds the feeling that the Betas where in fact marketing events instead of bug-hunting parties. In the end, evolve isn't bad. Just very medicore and on a price tag that's too muchin my opinion.

Sunless Sea has the disadvantages of a very average and monotonous combat system as well as a noticable grind factor, especially when playing the game for the first time. The thing is, the game raises the bar so much with the great hand-crafted lovecraftian inspired world and atmosphere that it hardly matters. Even the grind didn't trouble me all that much with the constant flow of new stories and people you discover.

Elite currently builds on 'whats about to come' Because currently, there's not that much to do and the things that are there are connected by the yet not really fleshed out supercruise mechanic. It is especially dissapointing that the multiplayer metagame - which was the reason for the lack of a offline mode - barely works. Player may see each other in supercruise but as of now can barely interact with each other due to bugs or not implemented features.

Civ: BE fells most of the time like 'more of the same'. This is not a bad thing, as the game uses a formula that works. So, the setting launches into space, but BE does not manage it to elevate the concept and game mechanics to a new level as well. Most of the time i felt like i'm playing a heavily modded Civ V with BNW. I mostly did stuff that i did in Civ V - just with different names. Aside from stagnation with it comes to gameplay, the biggest Problem might be the lack of stereotypes and nations. Shaping your own civ and building the eifeltower in Washington was part of the fun in earlier civ games. I feel like BE does not have a good enough replacement. They really tried, and i appriciate that, but the new alliances of nations just feel bland and somewhat uninteresting. That all said, Civ: BE is still a lot of fun and if you loved Civ V you will most likely like Civ: BE.

Is Planetary Annihilation a good game? Yes. Did it meet my expectations? No. The game improved a lot from Alpha to EA to Beta to final product. It has its outstanding features - like the planets or amount of active units - but then it also lacks such basics features like re-bindable camera controls or units firing the earth because they can't handle the planits curvature. The transition between planets is very meh and you never get the feel like you're doing a 'invasion' It's a very tideous process. In the end, it's very very hard to competete against Supreme Commander FA Forever which is balaned and maintained by the community for more then six years and it would be unfair to measure PA against it. But i.. just expected something more then average. And it hink, in its current state, PA isnt more then average if you sum up all the pros and cons.

Godus makes me sad. It makes me sad because it wasnt forced to be, what it is. The project itself was kickstartet and the pc version was sold via Steam Early Access. Enough money flow to free the developers from being forced to implement timers, an overpriced shop or obfuscated rating popups. Godus did it anyway. Did Molyneux do it because if greed? I don't think so. Instead, i think he did it because he really thinks this is was people want. Being able to buy progress, wait for timers and less gameplay and context over all. And this, ladies and gentlemen, makes me very, very sad.

There's not that much to say about the graphic controversity. The game looks good, no doubt, but not nearly as good as in the E3 Trailers, Launch Trailer or Steam Shop Page Screenshots. By all means, this form of false advertising has to stop. Also, getting hours less of playtime because i didnt bought the "Digitale Deluxe" Edition is just wrong and should not be supported. For the game itself, its your average GTA style game. The story is very odd and inconsistent. The one moment i beat someone up with a basbeall bat, then i'm visiting my nephew, then i'm suddenly Badass McBadBat again. The side Missions are extremly dull and usually consist of dozens of heavily armed dudes getting thrown at you. You have whole military-like mob convoys driving trough the city. Whoever runs the city is probably the worst police state in the history of gaming. The gameplay is uber-realistic. You have a three meter turn radius, every car handles like a formula one car that has tanked cerosine and the gunplay is quite odd. That said, there are good things in watchdogs and its fun to **** around with the city, but its not enough to keep me want to play it. In the end, Watch_Dogs is not a bad game. Whats the biggest pro of the game? You can jump in for a low price and have everything avaiable from start. No level restrictions for ships and items, you dont have to spend hours until you can finally use something. You can log in, play for an hour, have fun and then log out. You remember? Like games where before everything had to have a bloody progress bar.

You can get in-game currency trough archivements, but the amount of jewels you can get is a absolute **** example: 5 jewels for getting 6 imps. How much costs the third imp? 800 jewels. The fourth? 1400. This game is designed to lure you in with fancy graphics and then annoy you until you pay money. Dont give this business modell a chance. Dont play it. Dont pay for it. I would love to give the game a higher score. But some of the design choices just don't manage to grab me. For example: Stations are plastered with npcs. But they look really awkward and sometimes miss animations. Also some look like they're supposed to be holding something but dont. It would be a minor complaint if they werent EVERYWHERE completly runiing the atmosphere. Another point of critique is the very bad performance. I have a rather decent pc and even for me the framerate jitters a lot, depending on the direction i currently look at. Very annoying in combat. The campaign as far as i plaid it is not very good. More like a tutorial coming directly from the developers instead from an story writer. It's mostly really awkward and somehwat childish. But well, i didnt buy X for the campaign so forget it. Overall, it's still a good X game but by far not the "rebirth" i was hoping for. It mostly seems like the budget was going into make things fancy then really thining things trough and maybe find new approaches. The new approaches they did like the higway minigames just don't seem very well-tought. I dunno... i just can't get warm with X: Rebirth. Still a O.K. game.

However, it runs smooth except for the login issues. For me, the problem is that i don't know what they've done in this almost three years except polishing. The game still feels like the original from 2010 and let's be honest, it wasnt already very innovative back then. It pretty much plays like all the mmos from the 10s. There may be people who really like that, i however find it rather boring. Compared to newer mmos like Guild Wars 2 or even Rift, it can't convince me. The overall design in gameplay, storytelling and art style is just too worn-out and dull.

It's ok. It's a good game. I really don't know why though! It's a movie licensed 14€ (Probably 14$ too) game. Did i have to mention it a second time? Movie Licensed. Good. In the same context. However, it's short and probably episodic. Didnt hit the end yet. Just from what i've heared. However, gameplay and skill system is fun. It's not "the answer to Diablo 3" but it has a few innovations like the ghost sidekick which is really well done and feels like a step forward in this genre. Said sidekick you can either command to attack from afar, be the tank/melee or just be a buffbot (which some passiv bonuses when she is in this mode) also you can command her to focus certain enemies, collect stuff and of course she has items lots, skills and attributes. Which actually makes her useful and relevant to your personal play stile. The skill system sadly is no Titan Quest, but we will probably never have something great as Titan Quest again, so let's still with this: You have plenty of options to develop your own personal play stile. However, after a few playtroughs you will find yourself bored since it's over at lv 30. But as i said, probably episodic. But until then, it's a whole lot of fun for that price.

I'm kinda splitted when it comes to HotS. Gameplay is fine as always. Cinematics are good. But the story carried by those two is rather weak. Even if it has at least two nice little touches, it feels more like a Anime aimed for 16 year old boys and girls instead of a mature story for the fanbase who grew up with Starcraft and Brood War. The scenes itself feel a little disconnected as when someone thought "Oh, it would be cool if Kerrigan would do this. And later that" without really caring about why she would do it. The game was no edges. It's all round and comfy. Also it kinda does the Warcraft 3 limbo. Now since Humans and Zerg are more-or-less at peace, we will have some Protoss fun in the next title and i REALLY strongly guess that we have to team up against the evil space-god-zerg-protoss-hybrid-xel'naga whatsoever antagonists and we will leave the universe in the state of fragile peace like we did in wc3. So Blizzard can craft whatever they want out of it.

Campaign: Not worth to mention: Broken AI. Story is illogical garbge. It's running in circles and shoot aliens. Let's move to the Multiplayer: Matchmaking: No dedicated Servers. "Host leaved the game" every few minutes. Not much more to say Feeling: (Alien) Switching to the third person view may be a good descision for making gameplay more smooth, but the lack of proper animations and the fact that the alien moves like your put a stick up his and now pulling some strings absolutly ruins it. Feeling: (Marine) It's ok. I'm missing some kind of distant radio. I had a guy with his micro not muted and i could hear the dampened gunfire while catching up with the group. It was actually pretty cool. Otherwise the game lacks a proper envoirement sound set. If you spawn after death somewhere you can't hear nothing. It's so peaceful, you may settle down and have a picnic with a nearby spitter. Also the guns feel somehow cheap, like made out of lego bricks. To be honest all the models feel like i bought a 14,99 Indie game. Maps: The maps i played so far are uther rubbish. Sorry envoirement artist and level designers, but did you play your maps once? There's no tatic. It's just "find the best spot to sit on" and stay there and shooting the aliens coming from two directions. Forget vents, they're placed almost randomly without strategic purpose. Season Pass: You expect me to pay 30 bucks for you to maybe fix this, really? There are some things cool about this game but it doesnt compensate the games overall cheap feeling and bad, bad, bad, BAD map design. Just my personal opinion on this.
