I was hoping the story would bring a better plot and the voice acting would be better, but Iset my expectations low from the beginning. The fact is, I usually skip through the cut scenes and I usually care much more about the gameplay. Having said that, the gameplay in Lost Soul Aside is top notch. It’s a lot of fun to play and it didn’t take me very long to learn the mechanics. I hope to see the devs continue to iron out some of the issues with silly translations, awkward cutscenes and fix some of the shading. They could also continue to polish up the audio and sound stage to make it even better. Gameplay 9.5/10 Everything else 6/10

Leaps and bounds better than the first Death Stranding game. I tried my best to get into the first game, but it just bored me to death! The second installment in the series puts you in the action from the beginning and I found myself captivated by it. The graphics are next level and it’s quite clear from the opening scene when you’re walking across the mountains. The game allows you to upgrade almost every single aspect of the character and abilities, along with the weapons. I highly recommend this game to anyone who enjoys open-world action adventure games! I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s nominated and wins the best game of the year or several other awards from 2025.

Platform: PS5 Pro I had really high hopes this game would be good. Not great or spectacular, just good. I was greatly disappointed by the underdevelopment of this game at launch. The overall quality of the game was terrible. It seems like they had a great idea and vision, but then just released it without testing it or caring to complete the optimization needed to say it’s finished. I requested a refund from PlayStation, but they refused to issue it. This is now my most regretful purchase of 2025. I’ll delete it and save it until 2026 or 2027 until it’s finished.

My experience on PS5 Pro was good, but it’s clear the game wasn’t ready to launch. I’d compare it to Cyberpunk 2077 or Starfield. Lots of frame drops, screen tearing and no option for selecting a performance mode or fidelity mode. There’s no area map and the mini-map is strangely placed in the upper left corner. This game has a lot of potential and after looking at the roadmap, it seems this game will be where it needs to be around the end of the year. Just hope they patch it up soon and add some key features to push the game to the level it deserves to be.

Best couch co-op game of the year! I’m about halfway though the game and absolutely loving it. IRS clear that Hazelight knows what they are doing and their ability to creatively craft a co-op game is top tier.

A great game and the best Assassin’s Creed game in many years! I have about ten hours in the game and it’s been a blast playing it so far. The gameplay and the graphics on PS5 Pro are some of the best I’ve seen. The only thing that could have been better was the voice acting, but honestly, what game has truly good voice acting thee days? Only a very few…. In reality, I’d give this game a 8/10, but since some people on here are review bombing the game for being “woke” I’m giving it a 10/10. The game isn’t “woke” whatsoever and anyone who thinks it is needs to get a life. If you’re a fan of the AC series, this game is a must.

i Just can’t get into these Souls games. They really should have a difficulty setting for more casual gamers who don’t want to die every two minutes. I hope they change this aspect of the game.

Dead Space is a game I regretfully skipped over when it first came out and I’m really glad they made the remake. They demonstrated how a remake should be done with this game.

Quite possibly the best family game on PS5, other than It Takes Two. The story and gameplay were phenomenal and the game design and inventive weaponry was amazing. Highly recommended!

Starfield was a disappointment to say the least. My biggest complaint about it was not being given the option between high resolution (4K@30) or a performance mode with reduced resolution (1440@60). Among other things, like too many loading screens, no land mounts or vehicles, character physics, repetitive planets with little to no life on them and all the immersion breaking. I would only recommend this game to die-hard Fallout fans.

Pleasantly surprised with Lego 2K Drive! My son loves all the Lego games but this is the first one I really got into. The ingenuity that went into the game continues to impress me, how the maps are laid out and how the vehicles are constantly transforming depending on the terrain. Very fun to play!

Red Dead Redemption 2 is a fantastic game, but desperately needs a 60fps performance mode update. That’s really the only thing missing from this game and the only reason I give it a 7/10. Rockstar did a great job on this. Hope to see a 60fps patch soon or a current gen version.

Helldivers 2 is an incredible game! I’m not usually into online games, but this one is different and I’ve been enjoying it. Each mission seems fresh and slightly different every time. I highly recommend Helldivers 2.
