God of War doesn’t just feel like the next step for the franchise, but for the entire video game industry.

Silent Hill 2 retains its authentic early-2000s feel, complete with the monsters and puzzles characteristic of that era – it hasn't been modernized; that's what's beautiful about it.

Fantastic, yet complicated game! Can tell for sure that won't play this game for the second time, but the professionalism put in to this project is outstanding!

The Bad: - Combat and survival are too forgiving to feel immersive. - Heavily railroaded story missions. - Inconsistent game systems and mechanics. - Strange, unwieldy control scheme and bad player movement in standard third-person mode.

Summary: I got myself one of d'em good games, partner! The Good: + The story is pretty good and probably one of the best I have ever seen in a Rockstar game. + The slow-motion ability works very well. The Bad: - Every single character is either paranoid, drunk, a fraud or just wants to use you without doing anything back for you. - There are several glitches that often caused major problems. - Multiplayer servers were almost completely empty.

The Good: + Fast-paced, gory & satisfying combat. + Surprisingly good story. + Stylish art direction. + Deathshead & Frau Engel are awesome villains. + Can look really nice sometimes. + Plenty of weapons with fun alternate modes. + Old school health/armor model. + Stealth can be satisfying. + Great level design. + Replay value. + Great cinematics & voice work. The Bad: - Buggy engine and mixed performance. - A.I. can be exceptionally stupid. - Awkward enemy animation. - Dual-wielding can be a hindrance. - Forced laser-cutter usage gets old fast. - Should be longer than it is. - No multiplayer. - Visuals can change from nice to awful at the drop of a hat. - Doesn't make full use of its premise. - Weak and underwhelming bosses. - The moon level is really disappointing. - Perk tree doesn't make that big a difference.

Summary: One day I may replay this game and change my opinion/rating. For now, I wasn't interested in it and didn't want to finish it.

Summary: Short, but not so bad game, in my opinion. Had an interesting time playing it. My favorite quote was: "We all have our demons, honey. Some are on the inside. Some are sitting right in front of us. Wondering what kind of mother brings a child in this mess of a world. Ain't no blue skies for them anymore".

Summary: Personally, I didn't enjoy playing this game so much. It was okay, but not as good as the first Tomb Raider.

Summary: Generic action game staring Lara Croft. The Good: + The game just look gorgeous and with the excellent director the action sequences look and feel great to play. + The plot, probably the first Tomb Raider game with a solid story (although by no mean flawless) and Lara and the supporting characters actually have a personality of their own that we get to get a glimpse at. + The combat system is another area that saw a massive improvement. + Weapons. in addition to the classics ones - pistol, shotgun, rifle and grenade launcher - Lara could now use bow and arrow. The Bad: - Environmental puzzles. They are just too easy and I can't think of a single one that could be considered a serious challenge. - Boss combats. All of them involved QTE system whatever wholly and partially, as result they just no fun to play and you left with an anti-climax feeling after you finish off the major game villains with a meaningless mash of buttons at the right time, no strategy or skill involve.

Summary: Not a bad game, the graphics were good, the gameplay was nice, but the story (for me) felt unfinished and uninteresting.

Summary: An achievement in humor and game design. The Good: + Every single joke lands on the spot because the voice acting is fantastic. + This is one of the only puzzle games which have a very polished difficulty curve: the puzzles never feel too easy or too hard in context of the game progression. The mechanics are simple, but the designers found many approaches to make clever puzzles out of them. The Bad: - Most of the game feels just like a tutorial.

Summary: In my opinion, the original was way better than this one. Personally, I didn't like it at all.

The Bad: - The cutscenes that involve Max Payne's alcoholism and addiction to painkillers were okay the first time, but get repetitive, treating players like they haven't got the point.

Summary: The fall of Max Payne, indeed. The Good: + The change in the appearance of the characters. Models are more complex than in the previous game, especially in regards to the heads. + Bullet Time effect. + The sound engineer is to be applauded, especially when it comes to vocal effects. The Bad: - Short game's length.

The Good: + The famous "bullet time" effect makes the action even more stylish. + The graphics of Max Payne are a sheer beauty; the engine is powerful and smooth, and the levels are quite detailed (for that time). + Max Payne kicks in on a very personal note. The Bad: - Max Payne is a very simple, linear game, almost to the point of turning into an "on-rails" shooter. - The gameplay is very basic, going back to the old days of shooters when problems were solved with blasting everything you see to pieces. - The game's heavily scripted AI and its reliance on simplistic setpieces make it feel even more restrictive, filled with situations where you are forced to do things a certain way. - Max's colorful comments may not fit everyone's taste; some of them try to be too sophisticated, making a strange expression.

Summary: The storyline saves this from being forgotten. The Good; + The characters are voiced superbly and very natural movie-like acting. + Driving feels more realistic. + The theme is done right, you feel like you're in the 40's and 50's thanks to the art direction, city detail and licensing of music from that era. The Bad: - You don't get to do a lot in this city other than the standard rob shops, buy items, piss off cops, shoot pedestrians, drive around or run over people.

Summary: Not my favorite game. There were a lot of bugs, which made it difficult to fully dive into the game's world.
