It’s impossible to untangle the complex mess of pop culture and corporate harm from one another. Yet, Emily is Away <3 seems to only remember the sugary sweet poke wars. That doesn’t make it a bad game, but it does make it a naïve one.

If you liked the previous entries in this series, this is more of the same. I really enjoyed it, but just a heads-up — it’s pretty much the same formula.

I think this is such a cool game that brings back the feeling facebook in the 2000s. Living through the real thing is really what makes this. I was playing on my laptop which made the whole experience even better. This is a really easy and quick game, if you need something you can pick up here and there this is a perfect choice. Also, you do not need to play these in order, I went 3, 1, 2 and still really enjoyed it.

i loved the evolution from the first game, super simple and fun story that breaks your heart most of the time. fun little game with some replayability but can be a bit boring at some points.

I was a bit bummed when I saw this game goes away from the AIM format and goes into the next generation of Facebook, which is not something I have any nostalgia for. But, it still works for me, as all of the modern tech and internet tools it utilizes in its story telling works well. Still a really good emotional story that will have you wanting to play through at least a second time.

Definitely better than the previous installments. Adding a Mat helped the atmosphere and realism of the game a ton. I really enjoyed it. Although I expected more options and better story elements.
