Since I only got into the series with Mega Man 11 and don’t have any nostalgia for it, I didn’t really feel pulled in and found the game quite frustrating at many points. I usually like going for 100% completion in shorter games like this, but I quickly realized how tedious Mega Man 11 would be to fully complete and gave up after my second playthrough.

As someone who never played the original games, I found the Legendary Edition very well made and thoughtfully put together, with le launcher and all. Each game has its pros and cons, but overall I had a great time saving the galaxy and really enjoyed the story. It also made me want to go back to No Man’s Sky, because it offers the kind of freedom that Mass Effect lacks. It also made me realize how many games are inspired by the Mass Effect series. This is awesome.

Fallout 4 is by far my favorite in the series. One big feature Fallout 4 introduced, which New Vegas lacked, is the settlement building mechanic. It adds a whole new layer of gameplay, and the entire game is built around it. It’s different from the other entries and, yes, the story is much less in-depth and the characters are more bland. But that didn’t bother me much. What I’ve always wanted from this series was the ability to really create a home for my character (here, the Sole Survivor). The whole game revolves around base building. It’s awesome, but you do need to have a creative mind. Every steamer trunk and chest you open contains stuff you’ll need to sell, scrap, or give to your settlers to help them survive these hard times. See what I mean? If you’re not a creative person, you probably won’t like Fallout 4. I get where people are coming from, because indeed, the characters lack personality and the story is weaker, but I genuinely think this is exaggerated. Maybe it’s because I read all those reviews before playing and was expecting a disaster ? But when I actually played it, I didn’t find it shocking enough to insult the game like you see in other reviews... it’s not THAT bad. And maybe I was also overwhelmed by the crafting mechanics. I personally loved the gameplay and had fun for over 450 hours. Anyway, I think the perfect Fallout game (for me) would combine New Vegas’s writing with Fallout 4’s gameplay. But that’s just my take. I’m giving it a 10 because of all those "people" giving it bad grades just because they’re bandwagon jumpers with no real arguments. But honestly, I think the game deserves a solid 9.

I played New Vegas after Fallout 3, and maybe that’s the reason I don't like the game that much. I had no issues playing the previous ones, but NV started with a multitude of bugs and glitches that pissed me off right from the start. I know there are mods, and I did find some solutions to prevent most crashes, but man… what a painful experience. I had to keep save-scumming all the time because I was scared of opening a damn door or triggering some random crash out of nowhere. That alone ruined the experience for me. Because no, the mods do not fix everything. And it’s a shame, because story-wise, the game is basically everything I was expecting ; The Courier's story is awesome, every NPC you meet in this game might be memorable lol, the game contains many callbacks to the earlier Fallout games, a huge amount of lore… And they basically fixed what Fallout 3 was missing and improved on it. Well, except for some things they made worse, and one of those things is : the Hardcore Mode. You can’t play in Hardcore without also being forced into a higher difficulty level. Which wasn’t the case in Fallout 3. I played that one on Normal diff with Hardcore settings just fine. I really don’t see the point of these difficulty levels if it only means enemies have more HP and deal more damage. That’s not fun or challenging, it’s just tedious and makes no sense. (How does emptying your magazine on a random ghoul make sense to you ?) And it's a shame, because the Hardcore mechanics themselves are what I love in these games. Anyway, another thing that annoyed me: the quest complexity. I often found myself stuck in a storyline or side quest just because I talked to an NPC too soon without meeting another first. Ugh. Just thinking about it pisses me off again. lol. I often had to load a save from bloody 3 days earlier IRL just to fix the mess. So yeah, yet another reason I had to save-scum constantly, basically before doing anything that seemed important, just to avoid breaking the game. All in all, the game was, for me, a waste. When it could have been the best one. But I just can’t give a good rating to a game that you basically have to patch yourself to make it playable. Despite the good content it contains. People giving it a 10 are just sheep who clearly haven’t played it recently. And if you actually enjoy doing the job the devs were/are supposed to do just to make the game playable... then congrats, you’re doing QA for free. I don't. lol. When you buy a new bike, you don't expect to have to repair it, do you ?

Meh, not so bad. I liked being some kind of god-Vault-Tec-overseer managing a vault. Chasing achievements and completing missions was fun… and that’s it. The way rewards are generated quickly becomes annoying: by the end (when I stopped playing, after 135 hours spent, mind you!), I literally had 3 Sarah Lyons as legendary dwellers, out of the 8 I had total… and you need 20 to get the achievement. Well, I gave up. Way too tedious. The main issue is that the game has been completely abandoned by the devs. Once you complete the main missions, there’s not much left to do, and it gets boring really fast. Also, the Radscorpions are annoying ****, there are no super mutants, wtf?! And the ghouls all look the same. Like, seriously? That’s just outrageous. Anyway, it’s clear they didn’t put much effort into this game

This entry is exactly what I’d been waiting for while playing the first three games: finally getting to step into the shoes of your character, here, the Lone Wanderer; and exploring the post-apocalyptic world of Fallout, from a first-person perspective. I simply loved everything about Fallout 3. It was everything I expected it to be, and even better. I was afraid the game would feel too empty or look too dated. And sure, it’s got old-gen graphics, but if you look past that, it’s just amazing to finally be able to immerse yourself in this twisted and broken world. The only downside would be the repetition and lack of variety in the items, and also the limited customization options for the Lone Wanderer’s gear and houses.

Had a blast with the first two entries of the series. This one, on the other hand, wasn’t as great. I finished it and went all the way, but I felt way less immersed in the story because it’s much more linear. It’s simple: you’re thrown straight into the Warrior’s story without knowing anything (Or did I missed something ?). There’s barely any intro or explanation before you’re suddenly on a BoS commando mission with characters you know nothing about... It took me a looong time to get into the story, to master the new mechanics, and to actually start having fun. But the lack of dialogue choices and freedom was really noticeable. Indeed the whole game felt a lot less open-world than the first two. Even the gameplay frustrated me at times: some missions were way too long to complete and felt really tedious.

I recently played through the entire Fallout series for the first time, starting with this game. I was instantly drawn into Fallout’s brilliant universe. I told myself I’d only play the first one for a few hours because, well, "it’s old, probably cr4p by now, but let’s at least get a glimpse of the original sin." Oh boy, was I wrong. I ended up spending 40 hours on it, loving every bit. The dark humor, the dialogue shaped by your character’s traits, the freedom to build the Vault Dweller’s personality as you like… even the NPCs had depth, they weren’t just random lines of dialogues. The atmosphere, elevated by the game’s eerie and immersive music, pulled me in completely. It’s incredible how much there is to do and discover in such a small, retro game. It took some time to understand the mechanics and get the hang of things, but once I did, I was hooked. Exploring the whole world and completing the story took even longer, and by the end, I just wanted more.

I enjoyed the game while it lasted, though, unfortunately, that wasn’t very long. The game is undeniably cute, but it’s so brief that there’s barely enough time to get fully immersed. The gameplay is fun, not overly challenging, which is a nice touch. But let’s talk about the story… it’s hard to take seriously with all the innuendos. Planet of "Lana" backward? Really? And with that, the spaceship design ?! (you know, the one written with clay in the lore). Maybe my mind’s in the gutter, but it looks suspiciously like a certain… accessory. Nobody noticed that? And of course, the robots with tentacles abducting humans..yeah, okay, we see where this is going. The story’s credibility is a bit of a stretch; a kid taking on such a challenge ? Come on lol. That said, it’s not a bad game by any means. I just wish the story had a bit more depth. Uhuh

I played AC Valhalla for over 300 hours and completed it 100%. The stats almost speak for themselves here, almost because there were still some annoying things, like the most well-known fact about AC: Valhalla, the crashes. I started the game knowing about this issue, and it's true and quite frustrating when you attempt a stealth approach at a camp, and the game crashes right in the middle. However, with the auto-saves, you can find some tricks to prevent you from restarting your progress from scratch, such as going in and out of a camp to trigger an auto-save. So, yes, the crashes were annoying, but they didn't happen that frequently. I often played for several hours without any crashes, and sometimes, I'd experience crashing five times in a row in less than 20 minutes. When it happened, I'd usually come back the next day without any issues. It required some patience. (Totally unprofessional from a team like Ubisoft not to be able to resolve that issue, by the way, I really don't understand why) The game itself helped me overlook this problem because I really enjoyed most of what the game had to offer. Some side quests were dumb and useless, but I enjoyed the rest, from the main quests to the Valhalla quests, and even the River Raids. The Forgotten Saga, which is a really good game-changer because I'm a big fan of Rogue lites. There was just so much to do, and I never got bored. I could say that the open world sometimes felt empty, but the outstanding landscapes were amazing. The NPCs weren't well designed, but I've seen worse. The main character isn't my favorite in the AC series, but I managed to grow fond of him, and definitely not her. Even though Eivor Female is canon, I just feel like she was not made for the role, as it didn't fit and made no sense. There was an abundance of lore, and as a fan of Scandinavian mythology, I was highly satisfied with this game. Overall, even though AC Valhalla had many issues, I still enjoyed playing it.

I loved the first game, Epistory. This one is bigger, but it's proof that size doesn't always matter because it's messier than the first. The story tends to go in many directions, and I had trouble following it. The map is also confusing and hard to understand. Some parts of the game were quite chaotic and somewhat frustrating. Additionally, I encountered some really annoying bugs multiple times where my character got stuck, and I had to restart an entire level, which was also quite frustrating. Despite that, I still managed to have some fun, but the freshness and simplicity of the first opus were no longer as enjoyable in this one.

Maybe because Alex is kinda gender-neutral, you know, the name, the fact that even tho she's a she, she doesn't really appear as one. So yeah, great job trying to create an inclusive character like that, but it was just a little too much for me to really feel attached to her. I had my fair of fun completing it 100%, but I'm not sure I'll be doing it again. The skill tree isn't relevant, could have been better. The different outfits, it's way too much and you barely see the difference between em all in term of effectiveness. I had a very special time on this game. The game play is quite nice, except that i'm not a fan of QTE, especially when it doesn't really change the outcome of some scenes. Other than that, the game requires mostly thinking and observation, which i rather liked. However, when it comes to the dialogue choices, I found myself several times literally not being able to choose between the lines of dialogue since none of them made sense to me and therefore negatively altered my gaming experience. Detroit Become Human is not a game I would play again given the choices offered. After replaying some chapters several times to get the best endings possible I don't see myself starting all over just to get the bad endings. I don't see any sense in it. Otherwise the game is very engaging and the story is captivating, even a little too emotional for me. Speaking of the story, I still find the scenarists quite unfair : I didn't feel rewarded enough for being a pacifist until the end. There were very plausible alternatives that could have been developed. Too bad. The graphics are gorgeous, top notch quality! But overall I spent quite a bit of time frustrated by the choices made by the scenario and the lack of possible answers. Not to mention some lines in the tree structure that lead to a failure no matter what you do...
