Still the best 3d person shooter ever created, on par with Uncharted 4. All the best games still belong to the PS4, Sony has become garbage like most western developers and we'll never again see shooter masterpieces like these. Eastern developers are very talented but they mostly do rpg or action rpg.

This game is a disgrace for the human race, it was made by the same people who think there're no issues in men fighting women inside a ring. You can't create a character that look like a woman, the best you can do is a female that look like a trans man, no matter how many hours you spend in the character creation, the game just won't let you. And remember that most corrupted media that it was best character creation tool ever created.

Story and characters are good, but the game becomes extremely repetitive after a while, I couldn't bring myself to finish it because I got fed up. Everyday passing day you've to watch the same cut-scene which you cannot skip, it's a quick watch but it gets annoying after you've seen it 50+ times, and the general pace of the game is incredibly slow. Graphics also are very dated, this looks like a PS3 hd game. Good game but no goty contender, not even close. Yakuza 8, Stellar Blade and Rebirth are leagues ahead of this.

A bloated and boring, too long adventure that fails to tell an engaging story a fails to deliver a satisfying gameplay - combat gets dull quickly and exploration is a chore. No doubts the weakest ip in playstation's history, and yet it's only only game in Sony's first party catalogue that got a VR game, a Lego game and will get an online multiplayer game. Have with all of them.

One of most boring game I've ever played. Dropped it after a few hours because I wasn't having any fun. Graphics is gorgeous, but that's it. Everything else pales compared to any other of Sony's exclusive action adventure games. It baffles me why Sony seems to care so much about this franchise while neglecting games like Days Gone of Infamous which are miles better.

Finally I can play this game. I tried it on my ps5 when it released but sold it right away because performance mode is ridiculously bad. But on my pc it runs very well and I'm enjoying it. Story and characters are a 9, combat system is 8 (not enough defensive maneuvers, you just evade everything from start to finish, a block or a proper parry would have been welcome). But I can't give the game more than 7 because it's so easy it gets boring sometimes. I finished the whole game without dying even once, and of course I didn't use any of those rings that facilitate an already super easy game. A good challenge is important to keep the gameplay engaging, this game may be the easiest game I've ever played. It was probably thought for people who never played a game before, but you should care more about experienced players because we are the ones that buy games on day one.

The game is super fun and addictive, I couldn't let go of the Dualsense until I 100% the game. So why "only" 8? Because if Mario Odyssey is a 9, this is a bit under. The reason being basic gameplay , which is just too simple in Astrobot, and that's important for replayability. It's just jump, attack, and special move, three buttons, which is something you could do on a cell phone. I enjoy more articulated gameplay, where you have to you use all the buttons of the pad and you have a lot of movements at your disposal like sprint, roll, slide, ecc. ecc., the more the better, because I like to replay the games I enjoy and play somewhat differently everytime, but in Astrobot you can't do that because the gameplay mechanics are too few.

The game is good for the first few hours, when it's not yet open world. I actually enjoyed it for that short time, but then it becomes open world and the infamous Ubisoft's shopping list of fetch quests take the stage. I got bored after a couple of hours and uninstalled it. I had hoped this could be the Uncharted of the star wars universe, but unfortunately it's a 3rd person far cry focused on stealth gameplay

EDIT: I got to the last stage and then uninstall. The area is just to big to explore, the game doesn't give you a map and no hints on where to go. I wandered around more than one hour with no clues on what to do. The game has good a good combat system and a lot of well made bosses, but as far as exploration goes it's one of the most boring game I've ever played. I genuinely enjoyed only the first stage because it is small, but from the second stage on areas become bigger and bigger and exploring is a chore in this game if you don't to rely on youtubes or guides. I like to be challenged by bosses, not by bad area design and wondering around for hours just to find where to go. Game is overall good and should be supported because it's no bs in it, but some fights are really problematic and doesn't make an enjoyable experience. Especially the last fight of chapter four, it took me 4 hours to beat him, super cheap patterns and horrific hit boxes, most of the times I died because my blows went through the air when they should have hit. It took me eight hours to beat Sekiro's last boss but I had fun every try, but this boss I feel like I threw 4 hours down the toilet. The harder a boss is, the more you need to pay attention for everything to work, and clearly they did not in this case.

N.B. Please add a new game plus mode with: 1) Hellblade difficulty, mixing enemies' attack patterns and making them stronger; 2) the possibility to disable the voices in her head and to skip all the puzzles, which are fine for the first run but not so much afterwards. Review: It's basically a walking simulator with added combats. The fighting system is actually great, certain aspects of it are the best ever, but for veterans it's too easy even at the hardest difficulty. The graphics are gorgeous. The biggest issue of the game are exploration and puzzles, which quickly get boring because outside of combat Senua can only walk and pick up certain puzzle related things. If they could apply the combat and the graphics to a game like Uncharted or Tomb Raider, that would be a 10, and one for the history.

They did everything wrong with this game, not a single choice was made towards players' enjoyment. Always online even for single player career, so when servers are down you can't even play offline. Also, it's basically a Top Spin 4,5, core gameplay is fun but they past-copied everything from top spin 4 (a 10 yo game) e did some refinements. It's also a cross-gen game, which is ridiculous in 2024 for gaas game that are meant to be updated for years, because it means that in 2026, for example, they'll still have to update the game for ps4, which by that time is going to be 13 years old. Wait for a true next gen tennis game with no always online bs

Another example of localization taken too far, where translators prioritize injecting their own worldview into the game, changing lines and characters' attitude as they please - instead of giving players an experience as close as possible to the original, disrespecting both the developers and players themselves. I recommend the game only to people who can read and play it in japanese, because all european translations are based on the biased english localization.

-- true score is 9, but I had to cut one point because of the D1 patch that censored costumes and gore. I don't give a damn about costumes, but I don't like being lied to, since a few days before release they said the game would be uncensored worldwide, but than it was -- This game is like a dream in 2024, something most of us thought it could never be done again: PROS: - no woke bs, no significant changes in localization - 60 solid fps, good image quality with no blurred image - super fun skill based combat - rewarding exploration - good story Though It's not a 10 because of some issues: - no japanese audio in western release, that's a big minus for me - most secondary mission are actually fun and connected to the lore, but some others have way too backtracking for trivial activities; - the game has some metroidvania elements, but you can't put any signals in the map and that make backtracking into previously unavailable zones very tedious. I think all metroidvania maps should be at least as good as POP Lost Crown, which is the new standard in that regard. - once you enter a big area, the map is always already completely discovered, and the game doesn't track which places you've been and which you've yet to, making it hard to explore everything especially if you can't play the game everyday - some dialogues sound off, not cringy or woke or anything, just off. I think it may be because the og language is korean and not japanese

The game is a solid zero for me atm .I bought it to play in coop with a friend but the coop is trash, you can only play specific missions in coop (like 20% of the game, the remaining 80% you have to play it alone) and one the two players need to have already completed those missions otherwise you can't coop at all. Do not advertise the game as a coop campaign game, when in reality it is a single player game with basic coop features. Playing solo is also a terrible experience due to terrible performance mode, the game constantly drops below 48 FPS so even vrr can't cope with that, and it's not a smooth experience. I refunded on Amazon but if they manage to make a good pc port with perfect performance (that is always above 60 fps with no stutter) I'll buy it again because the combat and exploration are actually very funny, but I can't play it right now with that abysmal performance

This could have been a solid 9 for me, story and characters are great, music too but some gameplay mechanics spoiled everything for me and I abandoned the game midway. The game is challenging, which I like, I only play hard games. But I like to experiment when i play, to die on purpose sometimes, but in this game everytime you die you lose resources which you need to upgrade you characters, hence you're not encouraged to experiment anything, you always try to play safe which is something I do not enjoy at all. You also start with just one bullet and one parry, making the game not very funny until you've unlocked more. But to unlock more, you need to play safe and collect resources, which again I do not enjoy doing. It's a vicious cycle. This could have been an instant classic If it was more linear and without the losing/grinding of resources.

The game is overall fantastic and there's nothing on the market like that. Gameplay and story are a 9/10 but I can't give a 9 because there's an open world session that I hate that completely ruin the pace (and replayability) that almost made me drop the game entirely. I hate and I don't play open world games and I didn't expect to find some of it in this game after playing GR1. The motorbike is a great addition, but the open world doesn't fit well in a game like this where fast pace e replayability are keys. Nevertheless, I can't wait for a story DLC or another sequel, overall I had a blast with the game.

The game performs pretty well on pc, no frame drops nor stutter issues. Story wise this game would be a solid 9, but overall I can't give more than 6 because it suffers from the same problems that's been there forever. The number one issue for me is the combat system: if you've played all the yakuza multiple times like myself, you'll soon notice the combat is a 95% copy-paste from Yakuza 6, and I grew tired of this pretty quickly. Also, as usual, boss battles are underwhelming as in every Yakuza. Kiryu's moveset is good only vs multiple mobs, while every boss has a better and bigger moveset for 1 vs 1, and especially at max difficulty you win only because you've an inventory full of healing items, but in reality every boss feels stronger than Kiryu. Also, heat actions annoys very quickly, they take out the immersion completely and I personally never use them. In other words, the combat system of the game need to redone from scratch and with better focus to 1 vs 1 fights.

I play on a 83'' OLED and having to play at 30 fps on such a big screen is a horrific experience. I can't play in 30 fps and 30 fps shouldn't exist anymore in 2023, 60 + fps should be the minimum standard. Unfortunately, performance mode in this game is super choppy, fps constantly drop below 48 thus disengaging vrr and causing microstutters. I can't give anything other than 0 because I paid 80 euros but i can't play the game because it hurt my eyes. I'll give an actual vote if a patch is released that improve the performance mode and I can actually play the game

I beat the game in 20 hours, it’s been just awesome and I hope to see more games like this, I’d pay full price no problems for these kind of experiences. There are however issues (rather things I don’t like / enjoy) that made me go for and 8 and not a 9, and that are stopping me to go for the platinum (something I go for only when a game is flawless). Here’s my list of negatives: I really enjoy hard bosses, the harder the better if it’s a fair fight, but I hate when I have to repeat a stage to get to the boss again if I lose the battle. It completely change the way I play against the bosses: since I don’t want to repeat the level again, you do not experiment with moves, I play as safe as possible using cheap tactics and it’s just not fun as it could be. I had much more frustration with this game than with Sekiro’s last boss. 2. Too many punch moves and too few kicks. Combat in general is absolutely spectacular but i find all type of kicks to be the most enjoyable kind of attacks in games (I played Shenmue 1-2 over and over using just kicks). Sifu unfortunately lacks in both quality and quantity regarding kicks. Despite these - personal - flaws, overall Sifu is really a unique game with no alternatives on the market. Good job guys
