The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD
8
User ScoreAmaru12

##An indispensable gem that defines the origins of the legend: Skyward Sword HD is a tremendous adventure. It doesn't claim to be a revolutionary open-world masterpiece in the style of Breath of the Wild, but it is a highly remarkable title that brings gigantic value to the franchise and proves that no game in this saga is "just another entry." The origin of everything and a genuine connection: What shines brightest from the very first minute is its lore. Unlike other Zelda games, where the story is delivered to us subtly, here we dive headfirst into a rich background that lays the foundation and the origin of the saga. All of this is elevated by what I consider the best dynamic between Link and Zelda in the entire franchise; their connection feels genuine, beautiful, and deeply special. ##A tribute to pure "dungeon crawling" and intelligent design: In terms of structure, the game sets aside massive open fields to focus on its roots: constant dungeon crawling. The exploration zones, though more constrained, work excellently as a prelude to the temples. The dungeons are exquisitely designed; the developers' genius in reusing and intertwining environments through changing mechanics and story moments is incredible. They are clever, challenging, and fun. ##Art and music at their peak: Visually, it is a delight. Its art style emulates a painting or watercolor with a pastel palette that is beautiful and very pleasing to the eye. On the audio side, it's excellent: a Zelda soundtrack is almost always exquisite, and that is absolutely the case here. ##Adaptation and controls: It's worth remembering that it was originally designed for motion controls. Although I tried the Joy-Cons, I decided to play it almost entirely with the Pro Controller. While it can get a bit tricky at times, it's something you get used to quickly, and the title remains thoroughly enjoyable. ##Conclusion: The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword HD is a beautiful game, highly recommended, and packed with personality. It more than delivers on what it sets out to do and is a must-play for anyone who wants to understand how this great legend began!

The world of Marathon would have been much better utilized with a single-player adventure. Having made that clear, I must say that the few shooter moments are enjoyable, but they’re nothing that any other shooter couldn’t offer me. The overall game design is very divisive (you either love it or hate it); it doesn’t have elements that appeal to everyone. In my case, I didn’t enjoy it: deliberately confusing menus, excessive psychedelic colors, maps that look like Fall Guys and Splatoon, no real sense of an extraction shooter, mediocre sound, an overloaded futuristic cyberpunk style, and even the insects on the loading screens are annoying—why insects?

An excellent sniper game that truly immerses you in the role. The atmosphere, gameplay style, and everything about it are fantastic. It's clearly a serious game that will appeal more to fans of realistic games with deeper plots, but I believe it’s enjoyable for most people as well. It has very good gameplay and mechanics. It's 'fun', comfortable, and pleasant to play. The mechanics are excellent: the shooting, slow-motion cameras, scope, shot calculations, breathing mechanics, and the variety of weapons, bombs, and pistols. Of course, you could complete the entire game with just one or two weapons, but the idea is to immerse yourself in the role of a sniper and have fun using the diversity of weapons, mines, ambushes, and trying to collect as many collectibles as possible in each phase. The graphics are decent, good enough to enjoy the game. Realistic colors and environments, with very pleasant settings and relatively large maps that feel almost like small open worlds. Critique: The enemy AI could have been more challenging, but this is balanced out if you play on hard mode or higher. It also would have been great to have some kind of final bosses. Ultimately, the game achieves its goal of being fun, engaging, and entertaining. Highly recommended.

An excellent game full of original and innovative mechanics, extremely fun with the ability to summon varied and gigantic demons. It offers great replayability due to the large number of available weapons and demons. The combat is addictive, smooth, and enjoyable, with a great rhythm and balance. The game has tons of style and humor that Bayonetta infuses into it, along with many surprising, epic, and even funny moments. The ending is incredible—highly recommended for those of us looking for a game that delivers a good dose of action combined with Bayonetta’s unique style and beauty! These kinds of games are truly appreciated, crafted with love for the players, packed with content, and striving for innovation. I hope Bayonetta 3 does better in sales so we can see more future installments.

Great game, few horror games manage to scare me, and this one gave me some good scares. This game isn't the typical one with random jump scares; instead, it gradually draws you into the story, and the scares build up over time, which is great. A great story that scares as much, if not more, than the demon of the moment. The house itself is an excellent horror setting that slowly pulls you in. The only downside is the puzzles—some are very complicated, and there's often no clear in-game guidance or hints, so I had to resort to external guides on more than one occasion.

Great game, Nintendo did it once again. This game is proof that you can do a lot with little. It's a very entertaining and fun game, with innovative mechanics, visually pleasant and colorful art, and a soundtrack that is quite acceptable in most cases. There's a good variety of enemies, medium to regular difficulty (I recommend playing it in heroic mode), and very interesting dungeons and caves that encourage you to solve them in different ways. The world is appropriately sized for the adventure but very rewarding to explore. Definitely a great game that I highly recommend from one gamer to another.

You will have a lot of fun! ..The reviews should start with this since it is the first important thing in a video game and is its original reason for being. The charisma of the characters, the craziness, the cinematics, the colors, the setting, dialogues, effects, everything is very well done and harmonizes very well, aiming at one goal: Have fun, get some laughs and have a good time. The battles and combat system are decent and you enjoy them more on maximum difficulty. The only relatively minor thing is some moments of the music, then the rest is very good. I also appreciate and highlight content made with love, which is there, but many players and critics will overlook because they won't have the patience or sensitivity to appreciate it. For example: the collectible robotic turtles that, when you obtain one, the AI narrator provides funny and curious dialogues and stories in the menu; the quite beautiful paintings or artwork throughout the world; the Rabbids scattered around the world making funny faces and expressions, and some well-thought-out and very humorous dialogues. I hope you can appreciate these little big things in this incredible game.

The graphics and colors are well done and pleasing to the eye, the gameplay is decent and quite entertaining considering its age, the maps are enjoyable to explore, I loved the music as it fits the game very well, and the overall atmosphere is very good—you truly feel like you are on an unknown planet where everything is strange.

A simple yet very fun, beautiful, colorful, addictive, challenging, and musically exquisite turn-based strategy game. Set in a retro-futuristic 'Steampunk' style with adorable retro robots and industrial steam machinery. It delivers for fans of turn-based strategy, filled with diverse and enjoyable characters, varied maps, a skill tree, fun and diverse eye-catching weapons, good sound effects, curious and whimsical dialogue, and superb music by the band 'Steam Powered Giraffe'. If anything can be criticized, it's its simple and basic menus, the lack of a more complex and customizable skill tree, and the fact that characters don't gain experience if they die in battle. Otherwise, the game is really great.

Beautiful graphical design in environments, maps, backgrounds, effects, and characters; Very intuitive, user-friendly, and comprehensive menu layout, with well-organized information that invites the player; Fun, entertaining, engaging, and strategic gameplay, both in battles and world exploration; It also has an RPG component; The only area where it falters a bit is in its clichéd story, but it's not bad at all, it's just like a new flavor of a familiar dessert.

The game is a very pleasant visual and auditory experience, and Tetris takes on a new dimension of fun with the various added effects. Resident Evil 5 for Nintendo Switch deserves a solid 8 out of 10, and here's why: 1. Co-op Fun: What truly stands out in this game is the gameplay for 2 players, whether local or online. The experience of facing the horrors of Resident Evil together is thrilling and fosters cooperation between players in a unique way. 2. Teamwork: This game really tests your teamwork skills. From sharing resources to covering each other in perilous situations, Resident Evil 5 immerses you in a world where collaboration is key to survival. 3. Weapon Variety: The wide range of available weapons adds a strategic element to the game. You can customize your approach to face enemies, making each playthrough unique and exciting. 4. Game Fluidity: The decision not to pause the game when you make changes or access the menu is a smart move. This keeps immersion intact and allows you to focus on the action without unnecessary interruptions. 5. Chapter Selection: The ability to choose between different chapters to play is a big advantage. It lets you enjoy your favorite moments or challenge your friends in specific sections of the game. While it's understandable that some people may have mixed opinions, Resident Evil 5 provides a unique experience within the series, centered on cooperation and action. If you're looking for a game that immerses you in the zombie nightmare with a friend and offers thrilling gameplay, this game is definitely worth it. Don't let negative reviews deter you from experiencing this cooperative survival adventure!

Excellent game of those unknown indies that should be better known in this world and others too, Music: excellent, piano, rock, metal, well thought out for the occasion and for each moment of the game, it is not a tiring soundtrack or one that gets boring or tiresome. Graphics: Attractive pixel art, very colorful, beautiful effects on abilities, avatar or character customization, quite attractive neon and psychedelic colors, imposing final bosses with a masterful color palette. Difficulty: Challenger, starting soft and building up night by night, wave by wave, defense by defense; becoming a great challenge that makes you rethink your strategies, but not impossible (don't be scared). Playability and Fun: Very assured, strategy lovers cannot pass up this delicacy, it is not only a tower defense but it goes further, being a turn-based tactical rpg, with varied options in weapons, under construction, the Strategy Isn't About Just Being Stronger forces you to approach strategy from several different angles such as strength, building, positioning, synergies, abilities, etc. Unmissable game that I wish was more successful.

First say that I recommend playing it on Hard. This game is suspense, fear, anxiety, stress, tension, anguish, frustration, pressure and all that a good horror and survival game should make you feel, it is the original mold, the example to follow, the missing link, a holy grail of the genre, a work like few others. This game was hard for me to finish, it got the best of me, sometimes I almost gave up but I was not going to allow myself to give up to that galactic cockroach. The sound is immersive and realistic, the maps and environments very well done and add to the angst. I played it without expecting too much and it took me a very pleasant and distressing surprise. My most sincere respect and praise to the entire team that was behind this great game. I didn't put 10, because for me, the only thing that can be improved is that on a few occasions you don't know where to go, and how to continue in the game and you have to stop and look at the map very well.

The good: The soundtrack, the story, the characters, the interactions, the animations, the bosses, the wide and beautiful world, many combat options. The bad: I was very disappointed in the combat system, it's not entertaining, it's boring and tiring, it's not quite a turn-based tactical rpg, it's not a free-roam battle like Zelda BotW either, the combat is a strange hybrid, where your characters and enemies hit nothing and nothing, enemies do not react to your attacks and movements, "enemies are just punching bags" that take damage until they die, you can leave it on automatic do nothing and wait for the character to die enemy and that is boring, the strategy that exists is only to increase the damage inflicted but nothing else, it is very easy and simple, and if you increase the difficulty it only increases the life of the enemy, which is a punching bag. The music in combat is repetitive and stressful, however the music when you travel the world is beautiful.

Very good game, it is not the best of the best but it is a good game, Gameplay in battles: fun, entertaining, sometimes challenging, with some touches of strategy, gameplay for all types of audiences, I would have liked more elaborate enemies and complicated but ok. Graphics and animations: nice characters and worlds, colorful, happy, full of details, charismatic characters, very good animations and battle effects, good menus. Sound: a bit boring, very repetitive melodies in battles, and not very memorable, but the voices and phrases of the characters are the best of the best, listen to Yoshi, Mario, the Rabbits, etc. it's a delight, too bad there was no menu to remove the music and leave only voices and effects. Target audience: "Turn-based strategy" game but with more freedom of action and mobility, very friendly, easy and sometimes difficult difficulty, that's why it's suitable for both lovers of the genre and beginners, its fun lies in crazy battles, puzzles and charismatic and fun characters from the Mushroom Kingdom.

If you're looking for some quick, casual, casual fun, this is perfect for you, play some games alone or with friends or family or online and you'll have fun for sure. But if you are looking for a game full of content, create teams, pass many leagues, rankings, etc. then it's not for you or that's what Fifa is for. But if it is a visual novel and it stands out in the narrative, why play it? I better read his story, if it's just a good story turned into a game, I better look for his novel and lore in some forum and that's it. Visually it looks boring and monotonous, with a simple design, like a basic mobile game, I don't see how precious and beautiful it comments, in general it is rather (if its value is only in the narrative) it stops being a game), that bad conformist and idealistic tendency of today to call any game "precious precious", in short a matter of tastes and colors,
