Ant-Man and the Wasp8
Aug 2, 2018
The bad plot in this movie is made up for by the charm that the actors bring to the movie. While not their best performance, Paul Rudd, Evangeline Lily, Michael Pena, Michael Douglass and Walton Goggins all bring a fun performance to the movie. While the action could have been more inventive, it's fun for what we're given.

Justice League5
Aug 2, 2018
Still, every character feels like a statue. Still, these movies are complete messes. Two directors clashing to make their vision. It's whatever. None of the jokes really land and the action isn't amazing, this is overall an okay movie but the Justice League's first outing could have been so much more.

Wonder Woman8
Aug 2, 2018
While this movie isn't exactly original and doesn't have the greatest third act, this is such a breath of fresh air for DC. This all boils down to the movie actually understanding the character of Wonder Woman and fleshing out Diana making her the only hero in the DC movies who feels real.

There is absolutely nothing I liked about this movie. Nothing. And I had such high hopes.

Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice5
Aug 2, 2018
This movie is quite a mess. Visually stunning, but there is a lot of flaws. Eisenberg's performance, Batman killing, Martha, Snyder's complete misunderstanding of the characters and more. Most of the movie is actually good, but the movie fails in plot and character.

Man of Steel6
Aug 2, 2018
I feel bad for this movie. I see the idea, but I just don't think it worked all that well. There is still enough to enjoy in this film to make it a fun watch, but it definitely is flawed.

Spider-Man 38
Aug 2, 2018
Yeah, it doesn't really hold up to the first two, but this movie is very underrated and misunderstood in my opinion. The themes of good and evil are carried out well, and the movie is a great emotional conclusion to the trilogy. While the movie does have its flaws, Raimi's genius still shrines through.

Spider-Man9
Aug 2, 2018
The beginning of Sam Raimi's amazing trilogy and a pioneer in the modern superhero movie. While some of the movie may come off as dated now, the movie still holds up and is a near masterpiece.

Spider-Man 210
May 15, 2018
Perfection. All around a huge improvement on the already great first entry in the series. The definitive Spider-Man movie including one of the best Marvel villains ever put on screen. Amazing movie.

Avengers: Infinity War9
Apr 27, 2018
3rd best MCU movie. This is incredible. The fact this movie was even semi good gives it a 9 alone. The Russos are amazing at making these movies. I won't say anymore.

Black Panther9
Apr 16, 2018
This was exactly what I wanted and more. It's flawed, but the setting of the movie and stellar performances from Chadwick Boseman and Michael B. Jordan make up for it. I love the atmosphere of Wakanda so much that I can just get lost in this movie. Yet again another incredible experience in cinemas.
Apr 16, 2018
Thor: Ragnarok9
Apr 16, 2018
Yes. Incredible movie. I've gave a 9 as I know this isn't a masterpiece but I LOVE THIS. Planet Hulk was one of my favourite books/movies growing up, and seeing it adapted was amazing, and not just that, everything else in this movie is great, the comedy, the visuals, the characters, I just think this is a really great movie.

Spider-Man: Homecoming9
Apr 16, 2018
This movie blew me away. After liking Spider-Man 3 and The Amazing Spider-Man and holding out hope for the character, The Amazing Spider-Man 2 left me feeling broken on the character, never wanting to see a solo Spidey movie again. I can say while this movie changes a lot, this is the most faithful to Stan Lee & Jack Kirby's original vision of the character, and reminds me a lot of Spectacular Spider-Man, one of my favourite animated shows ever. Vulture is an incredible villain, and provides one of the best scenes in the MCU with the car scene. Great movie.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 29
Apr 16, 2018
Following up on of the best Marvel movies to date was always going to be a hard task, so this was obviously a disappointment to some, but I feel this movie is one of the best visual CBM's in the past decade, making earlier Marvel movies look so bland in comparison. The story is not the strongest but I feel it holds up with a pretty entertaining villain. The main problem for me was some of the jokes not landing but overall this is a worthy successor to Vol 1.

Doctor Strange9
Apr 16, 2018
Possibly the best origin story in the MCU. An amazingly gorgeous movie that pushed Marvel out of their safe space. Including one of the best casts in MCU history, this is Marvel at its finest, providing an amazing set of visuals and a well rounded story. The only weakness is the misuse of Mads Mikkelsen, with his villain being pretty weak.

Captain America: Civil War9
Apr 12, 2018
With Mark Millar's Civil War being the first comic I ever read, that story holds a deep place in my heart. I felt going into this movie that I would be disappointed, but I'm glad to say that this movie blew me away. This is the 2nd best MCU movie right behind The Winter Soldier. This movie closes out the best trilogy of movies in the MCU. The movie can be surprisingly dark at some points which I honestly loved. I feel like even though most of the Civil War book was ignored, it still held the same key points enough for it to warrant the title. A very worthy successor to The Winter Soldier. (oh and that airport scene is incredible).

Ant-Man8
Apr 12, 2018
I always had faith in this movie and I was very pleased with the result. One of the funniest MCU movies. I love the heist feel that this movie has, which separates it from most of the movies in the series. The slight let down that was Avengers: Age Of Ultron made this movie even better. A very underrated entry in the MCU.

Avengers: Age of Ultron7
Apr 12, 2018
I would have given this movie an 8 back in 2015, but now I see this movie isn't perfect, there are flaws, but I think they aren't glaring enough to make this movie bad, it's pretty solid. This movie does feel kind of empty with most of the movie being action, but it makes the scenes where the movie winds down pretty great. Also movies like Thor: Ragnarok and Captain America: Civil War have made this movie more effective in retrospect using the events of this movie to further their stories. Overall, it's good.

Guardians of the Galaxy9
Apr 12, 2018
One of my favourite experiences in a cinema. Even as a complete fanatic of Marvel at the time of this movie's release, I too was skeptical of this movie. This made the movie absolutely incredible on my first viewing. A Top 5 MCU Movie right here. The jokes landed every time for me, and the opening scene touched me so much. A near perfect movie only undermined by its weak villain.
Apr 12, 2018
Captain America: The Winter Soldier10
Apr 12, 2018
Yes. One of the best superhero movies ever made. Based off one of the best Captain America comics ever written, this movie sees two of the best villains in MCU history, some of the best fight scenes in MCU history, some of the best character interactions in MCU history and more. This is a perfect Marvel movie, I could watch this movie forever.
Apr 12, 2018
Thor: The Dark World3
Apr 12, 2018
Eh. This is the worst MCU movie. I liked it on my first viewing, but repeated viewings have soured me on this movie. Loki is funny in the movie, but Malekith will forever go down as a prime example of Marvel's catalogue of bad villains (in the movies I mean, Malekith is great in the comics). I would say it's skippable but you probably need to see this to understand Ragnarok, so I would advise people to power through this one.

Iron Man 37
Apr 12, 2018
Not a bad movie, just a disappointing one. With the promise of the Mandarin as the villain, this movie looked to be incredible. What we received was good, but not the amazing movie many thought it would be. While I pissed myself at THAT reveal, I do think it was a bad choice for the movie, and they probably should've stuck with what was advertised. A much better movie than Iron Man 2, but just falls short of being anywhere near the first Iron Man movie. Also, Aldrich Killain is an awful villain.

The Avengers9
Apr 12, 2018
The ending to Phase One is a very solid movie that does all it should. Every character gets their moment (except Hawkeye) and the action is on point. The plot may be weak but the character work in the movie makes up for all of it. This movie also becomes more and more special every year due to the rest of the MCU being heavily effected by it (see Daredevil, Spider-Man: Homecoming, basically all of the TV shows), which makes the movie feel huge in context. This movie gave me one of my best experiences in a cinema seeing all of my childhood dreams come to life on screen, love this movie.

Captain America: The First Avenger9
Apr 12, 2018
My favourite entry in Phase One. I love the WW2 setting of the movie and all of the characters. I even think Red Skrull serves as a pretty good villain for this story. This has the best origin story in the whole of the cinematic universe and features one of the most gut-wrenching endings to a Marvel film ever.
Apr 12, 2018
Thor5
Apr 12, 2018
The first act is amazing, everything with Asgard is pretty amazing actually. I'm just really not into any of the Earth scenes in this movie. Not a fan of the 'fish out of water' storyline in movies and I just feel like the comedy doesn't always land. Better than Iron Man 2 but a very mixed movie.
Apr 12, 2018
Iron Man 24
Apr 12, 2018
This is one of the weakest entries in the MCU unfortunately. I feel like it hasn't aged well either, being overshadowed by a lot of the other movies. Robert Downey Jr. is as expected, tremendous in his role, but the plot lets this movie down. I think this is a passable movie but nothing special about it.
Apr 12, 2018
The Incredible Hulk7
Apr 12, 2018
I don't get the hate for this movie. I find it a very entertaining movie that delivers on expectations. Compared to the other movies in the series it is weaker but on its own I find it to be a very solid movie. The score is pretty good in my opinion and the action scenes can be great at points. Like Iron Man, the third act is a tad weaker than the first two but it doesn't completely ruin the movie for me.

Iron Man9
Apr 12, 2018
As I was a child when I saw this in cinemas, this movie is a classic to me. While it's not my favourite in the MCU I can certainly recognize its importance and how great it is. The first 2 acts are obviously superior to the slightly weak third act but those first 2 acts are so good. One of the most solid entries in the MCU.
