You’re the Worst is one of the best.

Falk proves right out of the gate in season three that You're the Worst looks as creatively dangerous as ever.

The show is brimming with salty humor, cynical rants and plenty of raunch. But for all its bleak irreverence, You're the Worst also can be surprisingly sweet, tender and even poignant.

Falk and company--they really go for it, whatever “it” it is they intend.

You’re the Worst doesn’t only feel peerless, it feels special.

The characters have emotional issues without huge labels or teachable moments. The lack of stigma is refreshing for television.

Watching the show's noxious and damaged narcissists slowly, credibly get over themselves remains an entertaining, worth project. But the start of season 3 isn't You're the Worst at its best. [2 Sept 2016, p.51]

This is that type of comedy that doesn't care if it insults you and that's why it works. Aya Cash keeps growing as an actress and the plotline becomes creative when it tries to explore the cruel aspects of the leads humor with their own lives dramas.

Seems the U.S. still hasn't had its fill of obnoxious English males whose typical facial expression suggests they're sniffing dog turd. Frankly I do not understand the fascination with obnoxious trolls with upper class accents and vulgar trashy personalities. I doubt anyone raised in an English household, like me, finds this stuff amusing. Just brings back memories of rude uptight people who think their sh-t don't stink.
