If you're interested in a character who sounds like a valley girl on speed and has temper tantrums fill yer boots. Like every other season Homeland works best when the main character is nowhere in sight.

Louis C.K.'s show, which veers from brilliant to maudlin garbage, is somewhat similar. Then I noticed that it is produced by him so that explains the similar tone. Baskets isn't particularly likeable and that's what makes it a bit grueling after awhile. Not nearly as clever as the writers think it is. It's got its moments but it is also painfully dull at times.

Seems the U.S. still hasn't had its fill of obnoxious English males whose typical facial expression suggests they're sniffing dog turd. Frankly I do not understand the fascination with obnoxious trolls with upper class accents and vulgar trashy personalities. I doubt anyone raised in an English household, like me, finds this stuff amusing. Just brings back memories of rude uptight people who think their sh-t don't stink.

Reminded me of the Addams Family movies. I wondered why so I went online and realized it's the same director. It does have its funny moments, mostly courtesy of Harris, and it does look good. But at least for me I kept having the feeling that I'd seen it all before.

Richard II is excellent, probably the best of the bunch. The worst is Applepie **** or whatever his name is as Richard III which he plays the way he plays every character he's cast as, flat and boring.
