It is visually engaging and Sonequa Martin-Green is definitely a very good and interesting lead. Although it stumbles a bit in the story, Star Trek Discovery is a very dense and dark space opera.

Young Sheldon has no comedy nor does it have a special touch to bring ourselves into the life of young Sheldon Cooper. Besides, making a comedy about a difficult family background is never a good answer to make money.

It lacks commitment, entertainment and seems to have been written in a caffé with nothing better to do. The characters are childish and uninteresting.

Even though it is a sort of guilty pleasure, The Gifted is actually pretty engaging while tackling some social issues through a fantasy-like universe.

Mindhunter is compelling as it is dark and tense. A thriller led by the flawless David Fincher that tackles one of the most challenging themes in contemporary television.

S.W.A.T. is that typical series that only pursuits brainless action in order to get some changes and keep going. Just another day at the office of CBS.

Marvel's The Punisher is bloody and it tackles quite important questions regarding gun laws and the dealing with PTSD. It's one of Marvel's most amazing accomplishments.

Defenders is weaker than expected, but it's still top-notch entertainment from Marvel. We could only hope for an improved second season and for a better look at the badass villains.

Although there is nothing particularly original in Mr. Mercedes, Brendan Gleeson and Harry Treadaway's performances up the game to a higher place. It's thrilling, captivating and nervewrecking sometimes, which makes it enjoyable in the long run.

Ray Donovan makes an even bolder cut by removing the only problem it had, which was definitely Abby. The story continues to show a masterful way to regenerate itself while keeping it as entertaining as it can.

Ten Years Later and these characters keep being just the same and there is something to learn from this: one mediocre film can be helped by the masterful ways of television.

'The Sinner' is clever. Jessica Biel's performance is actually pretty engaging. This is a TV show that cuts away that typical who dunnit formula and just makes worried about the whydunnit.

Despite the non-understandable lack of diversity in its cast, Manhunt: Unabomber is engaging, thrilling and addictive. The writing is captivating and the characters are actually pretty good.

'The Last Tycoon' has an amazing ensemble cast, but the story feels to unsure of itself. Despite its high production values, the story cannot surpass its defaults, sometimes being too boring to follow.

'People of Earth' is one of peak TV's most comic treasure. It's so funny that it can actually absorves you into its silly plot, which is one thing most comedies nowadays don't do.

'Insecure' continues to be unique and fresh by breaking boundaries between its clichéd drama and original comedy. Issa Rae is a great artist and should be protected at all costs.

'Game of Thrones' is the biggest, most rich television series in the entire universe. The premiere keeps it solid, even if we don't have great battle scenes yet.

'Power' continues to be mediocre. There is nothing original there and the characters are not convincing enough to keep us going and going. I cherish the diversity of the cast but the storyline is just predictable and uninteresting.

'Suits' continues to be highly addictive and we finally get the Donna we love. Even if the love stories between the characters are showing some signs of fatigue, the relationships between the main players are still adorable.

'The Strain's final season premiere is action packed and interesting, although there is one character in one particular scene that was unnecessary and deeply hurtful. I'm watching you Zack!

Although the animation needs some improvement, the story is actually very addictive and it emerges as one of the best videogame adaptations known to mankind.

'Will' is surprisingly colorful and has great taste for a comedy-drama mix. It evokes some Shakespeare in Love vibes which seems refreshing for a TV adaptation.

'Gypsy' is most definitely messy and sloppy, but I somehow felt engaged with Naomi Watts and Sophie Cookson's connection and chemistry. Although the series has a tremendous amount of storytelling flaws, it can be actually pretty interesting while constructing its own mystery.

'Preacher' starts this new season with an awesome opening 'Grindhouse' style and keeps getting funnier and crazier which, in the long run, only sets it as one of a kind.

'Queen Sugar' continues to be one of the most raw dramas on television, even if some characters need some layers, the show keeps adding them at its own pace.

'The Mist' is a very lazy adaptation of both Stephen King's book and the 2007 movie. The characters are lifeless and the cast is pretty much terrible, although I have some hope of its improvement.

O.K., let's be honest. I love the cast and the characters but this story isn't really consistent and it never leads anywhere. Alison Brie is brilliant though.

Orphan Black's final trip has a thrilling, passionate premiere. Tatiana Maslany is a force of nature that needs to be protected at all costs. The sestras are saying good bye in the best way possible.

OITNB is back but with a few downs this year. The covering of only 3 days in the prison after that sad event limited the creative's team work. The characters fail do develop as good as in the previous seasons, but the humor and the dramatic work is still there blossoming.

12 Monkeys is probably one of the best sci-fi shows currently on TV. It's well written, it's entertaining and Emily Hampshire gives one hell of a performance.

Animal Kingdom continues to be one intense family drama with its interesting characters and bold family approach. Ellen Barkin is wonderful and the boys are growing talented.

I'm astonished by the beginning of Fear The Walking Dead. I never expected this show to get any better but, at least, the premiere is really action packed.

House of Cards is still smart and the best at its game but the thing is... until when will the Underwood's get away with everything? We don't want the formula getting repetitive here!

'Bloodline's final season is spiraling out of control, just like its characters. Even if this is an improvement from the previous season, it still struggles to find closure while reaching the end.

Haunting, important, an incredible journey through pain and horror. The 'Making a Murderer' follow-up we needed to finally understand how religion is still used as an excuse for bad behavior.

Kimmy is still very clever even though sometimes the jokes take their time to kick in. Despite that this season is absolutely enjoyable and remind us that we all need some lemonading once and a while.

Casual upgrades into a journey through its characters' frailties and still keeps doing a marvelous job with the humor, but sometimes it sunks so deep into the drama that makes us unattached to its story.

'I Love ****' has a powerful message and some episodes are really creative, plus Kathryn Hahn is extraordinary; but sometimes it gets too complicated to follow, but this is still worth the look.

'Master of None' continues to the most adorable comedy ever and Ansari channels various classics in order to provide the most interesting journey throughout human emotion.

'Sense8' is a celebration of life, love and all things that are more important in this life. Although this season focuses more on storyline development, one can only say that it is one hell of a ride.

Bryan Fuller brings insanely addictive and colorful characters that indulge in an even crazier narrative. It's early to tell where it leads, but the show itself sure knows how to make an entrance.

'Catastrophe' is such a marvelous gem. It's dark humor hiding the best of intentions and Rob Delaney and Sharon Horgan are brilliant... and there's Carrie Fisher, that force of nature that will always hold a place in our hearts.

'The Handmaid's Tale' is scarrier than previously thought as it resembles a dystopian world which could be our very own right now. Elisabeth Moss is outstanding and the mystery is amazingly well written.

'Silicon Valley' is as hilarious as in the previous seasons and what makes it so addictive is the way it allows the characters to be spontaneous and how it approaches the new modern age of technology.

The amazing thing about 'Fargo' is that it continues to be fresh even if its structure remains the same throughout seasons. Hawley has the cunning talent of the Coen Brothers and the boldness of Tarantino and that's what makes him a compelling writer and director.

'Guerrilla' is aggressive and in that aggressiveness we find an unusual attatchment to its characters. It's John Ridley making another hit that tackles racial issues and that everybody should watch.

'Veep' drags its main character to a new situation and it is hilarious as it can be. The insults seem to have improved and the comedy is absolutely wonderful. Let's hope this keeps going through the whole season.

'The Leftovers' is still one of the most brilliant TV exercises ever. It is weirdly captivating and the characters are absolutely amazing. This final season starts with a bang and promises to keep digging into the addictive insanity of its plot.

Despite the show's adorable characters, the story seems so clichéd and repetitive. People desperately want a fresh take on zombies, but I think it's time we settle down and start creating more original stuff.

'Better Call Saul' continues to dig deeper into its characters and close in on Breaking Bad at an excellent pace. We can see Gilligan's love for this story all the way through the first episode.
