Don't normally leave reviews but the complexity, wonderful acting, great story line drove me here. Not for popcorn TV show fans, it's more of a high production value show, something you'd get on HBO not NBC so to ****'s been a while since we got a good show. The cast is amazing, even Ali G is spectacular, makes you forget that he did that in the past. Classic British thriller suspense drama at its best!

Other reviewers here are absolutely correct, I don't think the writers had any dreams of winning an Oscar but this show is hilarious. If you're looking for some slapstick comedy and if you like shows like Archer, BoJack etc, you will definitely like this show. The graphics could be better.

If you loved 24, The Unit, The Hurt Locker or Zero Dark 30, you'll love this show. Acting is brilliant, plot is fantastic and very realistic. Some people might find the integration of modern day world issues off-putting. This also shows how military engagement affects the brave people who put their lives on the line every day on a personal level. Besides the brilliant action scenes, it shows their attempt to balance the costs & rewards of military triumph and the resulting financial & family issues.

This is one of the most brilliant shows ever made; mixing history, pop culture and anything else you can dream up into every single episode of the show. It is extremely intellectual, the not well versed will probably not understand its intricacies as the show explores a modern young urban man's romantic experiences and uses references to expand the episode's focal issue. If Albert Einstein and Larry David had a baby and that baby grew up and created a show, pitched it to **** that what happened here? Can you imagine how Jonestown might be used as a reference to explain relationship dynamics in a man's romantic life, you probably can now that I've said it. It's brilliant!!!

This is on a level with the first season of "House of Cards" or any other show you thought was groundbreaking. It gets better with season 2 unlike most shows which only plan to garner superior ratings in the first season. This guy playing Escobar should get some awards for best leading actor or supporting actor or something. This is a remake "show" about Escobar's life and his fight with the American and Colombian governments. It's really one of the best shows on TV right now, reminds me of the enthusiasm I had for Homeland in its first couple of seasons.

I think the greatest aspect of this show derives from the writers "filling in" the missing pieces so to speak. History is written already, they just have to find a compelling way to make us believe that's how it all transpired and they're doing a great job of it. It's entertaining to say the least!

I have to agree with some critics here. I saw Ava Duvarney talking about this show with Trevor Noah and thought I'd give it a shot. It's really hard to make a compelling show these days, what with your House of Cards and Mad Men quality shows out there. And sharing a channel with Tyler Perry doesn't make a good argument for an Emmy deserving series either, sorry Tyler. I was pleasantly surprised by this show, it is original and captivating. Aside from the great plot, the camera work and lighting is immersive if you like that type of thing. I think this might be OWN's breakthrough series!

Watched episode 1 and couldn't stomach a second one. Take Runaway Jury, give it a boring cast, less interesting story-line and throw in some science fiction. That first episode I watched was so underwhelming that I predicted the ending halfway through the airing. No thanks.

Like I always said, they killed Danny off too soon. His disaster-of-a-life is what this show was really about and now that he's gone, they're left trying to deal with the ghosts of his life. It's an awesome cast, the acting is superb, but the story just isn't there anymore.

As a big fan of The Shield, I hesitate to watch bad cop shows for fear they might imitate and ruin an iconic series. I don't understand why people are giving this show negative reviews, the writing is good; Lopez and Liotta do a fantastic acting job as does the rest of the cast. The story is quite good too. After reading the negative reviews here, I went in assuming I wouldn't get past a couple of episodes. I was pleasantly surprised. If you haven't watched this show yet, get into it with an open mind and don't pay attention to the nay sayers until you watch it yourself.

Season 3 is definitely showing signs of slipping. I heard that after season 2, they took a break from writing which they hadn't done before. Seasons 1 & 2 were hilarious, the writing was brilliant and the "fart jokes" were more organic and enhanced the story lines. The current season seems to be the opposite, using "fart jokes" to carry the story lines so to speak. They shouldn't have taken the break I guess, there appears to be a discontinuity in the creativity.

Bloody awesome, better than season 1 which is quite the opposite of shows carrying story-lines from subsequent seasons. BoJack is still a jackass know-it-all spewing a lot of "intelligent ignorant" BS. This is an awesome show, hope it stays around for a while!

This is a quasi "deadpan" show which explores life's everyday conundrums from a lighter funnier perspective. If this were a movie, it would probably win an Oscar for best picture. If you watched Birdman and didn't understand why it got the Oscar for best picture, you probably won't get this show either; it's not for you!

I for one had never thought much of zombie shows; until someone dared me to watch the first season of this show! I binged on 3 seasons without leaving my house a single time in one weekend. It was awesome!!! But now, the pointless dialogue which dominates the episodes from start to finish, the useless scenes focusing on one person just crying or sitting there for minutes on end really signal the end of this once thrilling ride. It's time to hang up the boots and ride off into the sunset. Fell asleep so many times during this season and didn't bother rewinding or playing the couple of episodes Netflix had gone through while I was passed out, it didn't matter. The coming season is definitely the last, hope they give us a compelling closing at least!

Makes you wonder who is leaving all these positive reviews one after the other in order after a bunch of horrendous reviews (go figure)! I never watched Lost but I heard that all its fans complained about how they felt cheated out of hours upon hours of their lives. I guess this is the same writer so I can't judge him on whether he is continuing the same theme here: create a show which poses a bunch of unanswered questions and then end it without anything ever being explained! I watched 3 episodes and I quit, the characters are not captivating though the cop does a good acting job. The story is quite weak so far with societies turning to mush though the "disappeared people" issue has not been addressed once in the first 3 episodes I've watched. I could go on and on about the huge holes in this story but consider my reluctance to do so a message for you not to waste your time!

I got to episode 6 and couldn't do it anymore. How the mighty have fallen: to think just a few seasons ago, I thought this might be one of the greatest shows ever made for TV. It seems the creators hadn't given much thought to the direction of the show after the great Brody story ended since last season saw the start of its decline in cohesive story lines and creativity. If you thought last season barely made it through, I guarantee that you will not finish this one except to see how it ends!
