The Holiday Special was a lot of fun and enjoyable to watch. The humor and the film's central theme were well-chosen. I also really liked the music!

Fun and cute. Little off on the pacing, the payoff was short compared to the capture. Fun nevertheless.

James cooked here once again with gifting us a heartful joyful humorous emotional and at perfect times serious movie as this is a christmas special movie where drax and mantis roams around the world going through places wrecking some in funny goofy ways and as we connect through them even more after the trilogy is so PEAK and James got kevin becon to play himself lmmfao loved it.. once again he cooked so its pretty obvious that it is extremely well done movie with PEAK storytelling Absolute Perfection 10/10

It's an enjoyable 45 minute Christmas special that fits in between the events of Thor love and thunder and Guardians 3. It mostly stars Drax and Mantis and their brother-sister dynamic writing is similar to that in the 3 guardians movies. So if you enjoyed those, then you'll enjoy this. My only complaint is that the CGI is of lower standard than the movies and that 45 minutes is too short.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is a fun, but stupid tale added to the whole Guardians' story. The existing characters are funny and enjoyable to watch. The whole Kevin Bacon thing is hilarious, but his decisions are not reasonable at all. The story is simple, funny and stupid, while it moves forward a little with character development regarding a few characters. The dialogues are sometimes extremely funny. The cinematography is lazy. I was sad to see, that even the focus was sometimes bad. The visual effects are great considering the fact that this is probably incredibly low budget compared to other Marvel projects. The cast is great, I love that Kevin Bacon agreed to be in it and committed to playing himself in the MCU. The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is funny, enjoyable, but its cinematography is disappointing.

The Guardians Of The Galaxy Holiday Special Purely fun and lightheartedly funny. This special centred around the wonders of Yuletide does what it sets out to do perfectly— a little taste and reminder of the Guardians, whilst getting us prepared for the third movie. Pom Klementieff finally gets the spotlight, and she shines brightly; She's as funny as she's heartwarming. The chemistry between Mantis and Drax is chaotic, hilarious and beautiful to watch. Kevin Bacon also fits seamlessly with the duo. It's also nice to see that Christmas hasn't been used as a prop, as former Marvel endeavours have done (Hawkeye and Iron Man 3). 8.5/10

I rated this really badly when I first watched it, but I realised why. I intensely hate being forcefed festivity so that time of year is bad for me and This compounded that. When I decided to watch this with a friend recently though, it was my decision and it honestly changed my life. I know what Christmas is to me and I love it and I wish I could have it back. The season has been ruined for me by the commercial nature of it, but I know the true Christmas lies within my heart and that is all about love and caring. Unfortunately, I can't experience my own Christmas these days but maybe one day society will change and I will be able to have Christmas again. We'll have singing and dancing and we'll do nice things for each other and just enjoy being with our loved ones. I have so many emotions, I can't say enough about this. I will keep this as precious to me. I will watch this whenever I want to feel that Christmas spirit. It probably won't be in October, November or December.

The opening song is brilliant and funny. I also love the animated scenes since it’s poking fun at the Star Wars Holiday Special. Fun fact, Kyra Sedgwick also was just a voice on the phone in her husband Kevin Bacon’s movie, Cop Car. This is a lot of fun. Mantis steals the show.

Given what the intention was - something Christmass-y and fun and light hearted, then I thought this was quite nicely made and interesting to watch and should not been taken too seriously. I liked the first song performed in it a lot too.

Pretty good episode of the series. Good roles Dave Bautista and Pom Klementieff. They got the lead roles and they used it well.

This was pretty random but had some good charm and fun in it, easy watch...

Very great, heartwarming special that doesn't overstay its welcome or feel insanely overbloated.

This was much better than expected. It actually had a plot that went along with the theme (Christmas). As a Christmas special, I'd have to rate it "well worth watching".

Might not be the most original idea but it is charming has good humor and a heartwarming final. The Guardians of the Galaxy have purchased “Knowhere” from the Collector but have to put a lot of work into just keeping things running. Meanwhile Christmas which is basically unknown outside Earth is coming. The Guardians are told how years ago Yondu ruined Christmas for a young Peter Quill. Because of this Mantis and Drax want to give him a great Christmas present to restore Christmas for him. They come up with the idea to get him the great Earth hero Kevin Bacon who saved a whole town by dancing. For clarification: Peter told them that and it happened as actor in the “Footloose” movie. So they went to Earth to put their plan in motion. I stop here to avoid spoilers. The story is entertaining and funny. Drax and Mantis do basically know nothing about Earth or even that Kevin Bacon is “just” an actor. While I repeat that it is not that original the humor, actors and conclusion made up for this. The Guardians aka their actors fully deliver and Kevin Bacon completes the good cast. Overall it is a good Christmas special I liked to watch. I translate this to an 8/10 rating and would recommended it for all MCU fans.

The Guardians of the Galaxy Holiday Special is brilliant, it is really funny and heart-warming, without a doubt, a great addition to the MCU.
