Daredevil: Born Again: Season 1
9
User ScoreMatePolcz
Apr 24, 2026
Daredevil: Born Again season 1 has it's issues, but it deserves to be right up next to the seasons of the original show. It starts with a banger, then slows down, but the back half is amazing. I think seasons 2 and 3 of the original show are better, but this isn't too far from them. The cinematography is different and if it wasn't for the shaky camera, I'd love it. I still do though, because of the lighting and the constant overexposing.

Apr 23, 2026
Jessica Jones is a hard one to review, because it's writing is pretty strong (except for season 2), but the filmmaking is mixed. Season 1 and 3 both had good villains and good protagonists. The cinematography slowly more and more mature, while the editing came together in season 3, because the first two felt way too long.

Jessica Jones season 3 is my favourite season of the show. It doesn't have the best villain, but does have the best story in my opinion. It didn't feel too long like the other seasons and the overall filmmaking got better. I loved Eric, but Trish's arc wasn't enjoyable to watch.

The Punisher is my second favourite Netflix Marvel show despite the second season. I love the character, because he is probably the most complicated protagonist of the whole MCU. Season 1 had better amazing original characters and a great story.

Season 1 of The Punisher is peak Marvel television and not just the Netflix stuff. In my eyes this competes with Loki, especially if I look at the difference in budget. The car chase in episode one amazed me like nothing else in Netflix Marvel and yes maybe the bar is low, but I don't care. I love this character, I really liked the side characters and the action is fantastic.

The Punsiher season 2 has a very interesting premise, but ultimately it doesn't fulfill that perfectly. I liked this season, but some of the characters made annoyingly stupid decisions. Therefore I liked it a lot less than season 1. The existing characters stayed good, while I have mixed feelings about the new additions.

Apr 16, 2026
Daredevil is the best Netflix Marvel series. Season 1 is my least favourite with some over intense performances, but it laid the foundations for the rest. Season 2 is a step up, especially because of Frank. Season 3 came back with Fisk, but I enjoyed him much more this time and I also loved the new characters. Overall it's a very strong show that I already want to rewatch.

User ScoreMatePolcz
Apr 16, 2026
Daredevil season 3 is the best season of Netflix Marvel so far andI don't think the remaining ones could top this. We start from a pretty bad place, where I didn't really enjoy watching the show, but with great arcs, unpredictable story elements, my interest rose from episode to episode. And than we got the the 4th one. That was absolute television, one of the best episodes I've ever seen. After that there was no stopping, just pure chaos. I loved it.

Marvel's Luke Cage

Apr 10, 2026
Luke Cage is very mixed for me. I like the character, I liked some of the villains (Cottonmouth and Bushmaster), but season 1 is unfocused and season 2 is just a mess. Both seasons are a lot longer than they should've been. The filmmaking is surprisingly good at times, but it can't save the corny writing.

Marvel's Luke Cage: Season 2

User ScoreMatePolcz
Apr 10, 2026
Luke Cage Season 2 is a downgrade from the first one. It's too long, more focused than season 1, but has other problems. The characters get tossed around, they don't really have arcs and some of the acting was really not my taste. My biggest critism is the fact that the episodes didn't really feel connected to one another. The pacing is terrible. Although there are still many positives. My favourite scenes were the ones with Shades and Comanche. Furhtermore, I thought Bushmaster is a great villain. Some of the cinematography in the later epsiodes was outstanding, but the ending ruined everything for me.

Apr 3, 2026
Iron Fist is the least good of the Netflix Marvel shows, but I think it's overhated. It isn't terrible overall, because there are always good things in every episode. Even ones I thought were really bad. Overall I liked season 1 better, because it started pretty well, but season 2 was more consistent and I liked the finale more.

User ScoreMatePolcz
Apr 3, 2026
Season 2 of Iron Fist is more consistent that the first one in the sense that they did not mess up the ending, but overall I liked it less. I thought the dialogues were poorly written, but I liked Davos as the villain, unlike Joy. I thought where they took her in S1 one, didn't make sense (that's why I hated the finale). This season also had bad stuff, but I always had positive thoughts about every episode. The filmmaking wasn't as good overall, but the fight choreography was outstanding.

Season 2 of Jessica Jones is conflicting. It has good ideas, but ultimately it doesn't come together nearly as well as the first season. This story could've been interesting, but it wasn't. I disliked some of the acting choices, but overall it's still far from a disaster. I liked what they did with a few characters, I disliked what they did to others. Very mixed season for me.

The Defenders isn't the best of Netflix Marvel, but it has its moments and those are awesome. I kinda wish this was 13 episodes instead some of the other shows, but nevertheless it also had pacing issues. The cinematography is mostly good and the action is better than it is in most of the other shows. All in all, liked it, but didn't love it as much as Daredevil.

Marvel's Iron Fist: Season 1

User ScoreMatePolcz
Mar 11, 2026
Iron Fist season 1 is similar to the other shows in the sense that it starts pretty well and falls apart by the end. I thought there were too many things that didn't make sense. I like the characters, I like their conflicts until they get ruined. This is the one that falls apart the most in the end, but I still don't think it deserves the hate it gets. The score is pretty good, especially compared to few of the other ones. The cinematography is good overall, but it peaked in the penultimate episode.

Mar 7, 2026
Luke Cage season 1 starts really well, but the 13 episodes end up being too many once again. By the second half of the season the story started becoming repetitive. There were too many antagonists throughout the season and the best one ended up being a side villain. I also didn't like how the love story ended. The score was unreasonably goofy at times, but I liked other aspects of filmmaking a lot more here than I did in Jessica Jones.

Jessica Jones season 1 is fine. The story and characters are good. I hated what they did with Will, but I liked the arcs of everyone else. What is a big quality difference between this and Daredevil is the filmmaking. The cinematography is okay, but the editing is something I disliked. When I'm writing this review I have the show at an 8/10, but that might change after watching the other shows and the remaining seasons of this. The performances are really good though.

Daredevil Season 2 is a huge step up from the first one. I couldn't stop watching. There are some episodes that were "only" good, but most of them were awesome. The Punisher is a more interesting character for me compared to Fisk. The conflicts felt more real this season and every other monologue and the long dialogue scenes felt necessary and even exciting at times. One problem that stayed with the show is that some mid season episodes are the best ones instead of the last bunch. I became a fan.

Wonder Man
8
User ScoreMatePolcz
Jan 28, 2026
Wonder Man is intriguing, charming and enjoyable. The characters are likeable, I've been a fan of Trevor Slattery since Iron Man 3. Simon is pretty relatable and likeable, so when he makes bad decisions, I was really worried for him, which rarely happens with the MCU for me. The story is somewhat predictable, but it has enough surprises, to make it stand out even in this department. The dialogues are well-written, this is the most laughs I had in the universe since Thor: Ragnarok. The cinematography is pretty and very unique for the franchise. The 70's anamorphic, grainy look really worked. The editing is also good, it felt episodic. I wouldn't say that I couldn't stop watching it, but I did binge it on its release day. The production design is good and the visual effects too, which were pretty unnoticeable. The soundtrack is also better than most of the MCU, although not Guardians of the Galaxy level. The cast is incredible and the performances are really human. Wonder Man is neither top tier nor average MCU and it's definitely not your regular superhero origin story, but that's its strength.

Star Wars: Visions is a pretty good anthology series with uneven, but mostly good quality. The first volume has my favourite episodes, but it also has my leadt favourite Star Wars stories as well. Volume two is something I liked more, because it had no episodes I hated, but had one outstanding one. Volume 3 didn't have any of those. If the show returns for a 4th season, I hope it's going to be the quality of the first two both in terms of story and animation.

Star Wars: Visions volume 3 is consistently okay with some better and some worse episodes. It lacks a perfect short that the previous seasons had, but this one has the most unique episode in BLACK. My favourite was The Smuggler though, probably because of the Star Wars Rebels energy. Also, the animation was not nearly as outstanding as it was in volume 1 except for the last two episodes.

BLACK is the most unique Star Wars story ever. It is abstract as hell. It's also weirdly engaging. I would expect to get tired while watching this, but somehow I was locked in. The Bird of Paradise has the most unique animation out of the anime episodes. It reminds me of the animation of the volume 2 episode "Sith". The character is well-written and pretty interesting, but she talks too much. There was too much tell, while they showed it at the same time. The score is good. Overall I think it's thematically great and visually stunning.

The Smuggler is so much fun and my favourite episode of the season. The Chita and Arluu's situation is like a reversed Han-Leia, but the energy they give off is more Ezra-Sabine. I loved the character and the dialogues are pretty well-written. The voice acting work is great and the score is good too.

Nov 8, 2025
The Lost Ones is the sequel to my favourite episode of the series and it lived up to my expectations that I tried to keep low. The dialogues are well-written, the characters are interesting and the world building is cool. The animation is great, which I have to point out, because in my opinion this season isn't as strong in that sense either. Out of the sequel this stands out, because it could perfectly stand on its own and it's an important part of F's journey. One thing that I wasn't a fan of is a voice choice. I love Mark Strong's voice, but it doesn't match with the character. I listened to the original, Japanese version and it fits a lot more. Overall, I loved this one and I think it's the best of the season so far.

Star Wars: Visions: 3 Yuko's Treasure
6
User ScoreMatePolcz
Nov 8, 2025
Yuko's Treasure doesn't really feel like Star Wars to me. Especially the character designs. Fox-Ear looks looked more like an Egyptian god, than a Star Wars character and the concept of a bear droid is just weird. The story and characters are childish, but the themes are rooted in Star Wars and are thought-provoking if you can lock out the childish parts. It has a mystery element that makes it engaging enough. Also, the English voice cast is amazing.

The Bounty Hunters has eternal themes, but it's so predictable that I just can't love it. Like I exactly knew what was going to happen after a few minutes. The Ninth Jedi: Child of Hope is a sequel to one of the best Star Wars stories ever and that's why I had expectations. Some of them were met, like the visuals. The themes and characters are interesting, but the dialogues are unnatural and the story is just not that interesting. This felt like a filler episode in The Ninth Jedi universe.

The Song of Four Wings has a cool premise and overall story. The animation is nice too, but not my preferred style. Star Wars: Vision volume 2 is better than the first one, because it's much more balanced. There are worse episodes, but none of them reach what I would call low mid or very mid and still, there are outstanding episodes, though less than in the first volume. The diversity in animation helped this season to be unique, although there are fewer outstanding animation styles and the cinematography is not always as good. Screecher's Reach is the best episode for sure, it's one of my favourite Star Wars stories for sure.

Overall I loved it even more than the first time, just absolutely perfect. Star Wars: Visions season 1 is mixed. There are episodes that are among my favourite Star Wars stories, but this one has my least favourites too. The highs are extremely high, but the lows are really low. Some of these stories deserve their own fleshed out universes. The cinematography is the element that was at least pretty good in all of the episodes. Anime is not my thing, so I didn't love the modern stuff. On the other hand I adored the old school animation, that resembles hand drawing and stop motion. The casting is amazing, I watched the English version and I was surprised by some of the big names. The dialogues are mixed with meaningful and unnatural ones and they are always shouted. That's what I really dislike, I know it's a stylistic choice, but it's definitely not for me. The Village Bride might just be the most well-crafted episode of the first season. The characters are very likeable. The antagonistic faction is simple, but quite cool. The exposition is hidden in emotional dialogue and everything the characters say feels true to them. The theme of war versus peace is beautiful. "That's all that war is, nothing but loss." I was surprised how emotional I got by the end. Lot of that probably comes from the beautiful score, which has elements of John Williams and Ludwig Göransson's Star Wars scores combined with lots of originality. The cinematography is perfect with gorgeous lighting and precise framing. Also, the world building is extremely cool including the planet's culture and the galaxy's history.
