The Mandalorian season 3 is definitely a step down from the first two, but why? The season 2 finale established high expectations and left people with an expected route for Din Djarin. First, he was expected to be alone, without Grogu for at least some time. Secondly, he was expected to start going towards leading all Mandalorians with the Darksaber and having cool fights. Lastly, people thought that Din would continue going on the arc where he realizes he is in a cult, who don't define all of Mandalore. All this was undone by two episodes of The Book of Boba Fett, which are really good ones by the way, but they ruined the importance of that season finale and that didn't even happen in the same series. That's why I don't dislike this season at all. The dialogues are a lot worse than in the first two seasons. At first, I thought Jon Favreau didn't understand Boba (because of how his show was written) as much as Din and Grogu, but now I just think it's either pressure from Disney to have more exposition for people who don't always look at their sceens or he is just tired or something. Although, other than the dialogues, it's mostly really good. Some things don't make complete sense and there's a misguided episode, but there are lots of great and important episodes with cool action sequences or important character moments. The directing varies, but Rick Famuyiwa definitely did an amazing job, because the last two episodes are definitely the best. The cinematography slowly became less and less amazing, but it's still good. Maybe to hide the weaknesses of the volume. Speaking of visual effects, I think this season was easily the best at it. The editing is the same, although there are a few longer episodes, that had slower pacing, which I don't think fit the style of the show. The production design is good, while the sounds are great. The score is sadly not as good as before, because there is close to no memorable new themes except for the Coruscant one, which I love. The cast has new faces, some of whom I loved to see and a few that didn't work. The acting is okay, I just wish Pedro would be in the suit more, because Mando's head movements rarely fit the words coming out of his mouth. Although, Giancarlo Esposito was outstanding as always. The Mandalorian season 3 suffers from a few very bad decisions made (probably by executives) for The Book of Boba Fett, but with a good 4th season it could definitely go back to the amazing quality the first two seasons had.

The Book of Boba Fett would be fine, if it didn't ruin season 3 of The Mandalorian. On the other hand, with that it would lose its two best episodes. The dialogue writing is insultingly bad. How did Jon Favreau go from the first two Mando seasons to this? It isn't conceptually wrong like I thought the first time I saw it. The arcs are just not fleshed out enough. Like the Boba we knew wouldn't have offered the Rodian help, but after he spent 5 years with the tuskens that could be possible. That's another problem. If you don't know Star Wars well, you don't even realize it's not just a few weeks or months, but five years in the desert. The mods aren't a Star Wars design, therefore they don't work and the characters don't fit either. They're supposed to be these little gangsters, who don't have enough money for water, but they speak with a heavy British accent (which is usually spoken by people from the core worlds). The story also could've been great, but it should be smarter and more built up. Also, the non-linear storytelling doesn't work here in my opinion. The directing is mixed, with conflicting tones, weird line deliveries and out of place moments, while others work really well, especially the tusken part. The cinematography, the editing, the visual effects are around the same quality as The Mandalorian, except for the insulting speeder chase. The cast is good and the performances are mixed. I think all these actors are great, they just received weird direction at times. The Book of Boba Fett could've been so much better.

Some bad dialogues here and there, but other than that I liked it more than I remembered. The action was great, everything made sense. I'm a little sad though we lost a few things in this episode. With this ending, the premise of the movie makes total sense, but I really hope we'll get season 4 one day.

Easily the best episode of the season. I do think it was a little too long, but other than that it's almost perfect. Some of the dialogues felt unnatural as they did the whole season, but not too much this time. The story, action and character development is good. I just wish this episode was sooner in the season.

Overhated? Yes. Still the least good episode of the show? Yes. I think the cameos could work, but Lizzo is just not an actress. Christopher Lloyd and Jack Black could work though. The ideas and concepts are good, but the execution is mixed. Some people criticize the ending and I'm also not a fan of it, but this has been built up since episode five of The Book of Boba Fett. This is the second thing made by the season 2 finale that they've chickened out of because of The Book of Boba Fett.

This episode would be the best of the season so far, but that scene on Coruscant brings it down for me. It just doesn't make sense, why a New Republic officer would rather listen to an ex-imperial than one of their own. On the other hand, the Nevarro battle sequence is great and the ending is phenomenal. Also, the casting for small roles was exceptional.

People hate on this season for a lot of reasons, some of which I understand, but this episode is another great one. It's not perfect, because it has repeated exposition, which always takes me out, but as we know, that's what streaming services want. Other than that it was a perfect mix of a filler and an important episode. And the filler part of it strengthened the bond of a few characters, which is the perfect kind of filler adventure.

I get why some people don't like this episode too much, but I always enjoyed it. This time it was kind of painful to watch the things happen, but it perfectly shows why The New Republic didn't work. I also think this storyline should've started with episode one. Because with that the audience would've been aware of the real threat since episode one. Also, it would've showcased the time that Pershing spent on Coruscant more accurately and that way, his decisions would've been more generally accepted by audiences. Other than editing, my only criticism is the VFX. A few shots looked as bad as the worst shots of the prequels, but here the colors were also repressed, which I didn't like. The Mando side of things was perfect though.

Now this felt like an episode from season 1, except for the overly expositionary dialogues. It felt episodic, it had a beginning, a middle and a great ending. I feels important to the arc of Din and to the Mandalorians. Knowing what will happen later, I looked at a certain fight sequence differently and it was a lot of fun.

Not too strong of a start for the third season. It definitely feels different from the first two, because this episode took place in the planets. The ending felt like they just cut it off, so all in all, it's not episodic like the first two seasons. Or at least not yet. Another of my critiques is that he started a great arc in season 2 with the mask, but now he just wants to bath in the waters...

This is a pretty good finale that's dragged by some of the dialogue and some of the characters that just don't fit the environment they're in. The action is good, the cinematography too and even though this is the longest episode of the whole Mandoverse so far, it wasn't boring. A good finale to a mixed show.

Another fantastic episode, but the same critique. This shoudl've happened around the end of season 3 of The Mandalorian. Disney gets a lot of hate for a lot of things, but this is the one thing they definitely did wrong. The Boba script was not coming together, so they said "Put Baby Yoda in it". At least that's my theory. It just pains me to think about the possible ways the Mandoverse could've followed if not for this decision.

First of all, this as a standalone episode is perfect. It has the best shot in the whole Mandoverse. It's important for the character, it has cool action and lots of fan service. Peli Motto's constant humorizing was better here than before, but it was still a little bit much. With all this said, I have to add that this is The Book of Boba Fett and not The Mandalorian. The fact that this is an important episode in his journey is a huge reason alone why this shouldn't be here. Just imagine if Mando season 3 started with this episode...

This episode has a few bad things, like extremely cheesy lines, but overall the good outweighs the bad. There are some really cool moments and the ending is fantastic. I completely forgot that he actually has motives to do what he does and they are not the strongest, but I accept them. With these I understand why he does what he does, but Fennec was right: he is soft. They should've leaned into the antihero version of him more. Some of the performances were better than before and the vfx wasn't nearly as visible as last episode. But the mods' design is not star warsy enough, which is my main problem with them. They look like they came out of an early 2000's cartoon.

The Mandalorian season 2 is still my favourite season of live action Star Wars. This was the first season of any show that I watched when it came out, so it holds a very special place in my heart. I remember not being able to wait a whole week for upcoming episodes. Nowadays, that rarely happens. Din had an arc last time, but that didn't bother Jon Favreau, he gave him another one and it works perfectly. When characters return, they feel iconic whether they were regulars or guest appearances. This season moved a big step towards the larger events happening in the galaxy. Grogu is even cuter and he developed a lot. The directing is good, while the cinematography is still beautiful, but not as much as season 1. The editing is the good, but after some time, a little bit monotonous. The production design is really good. I love that this time, we got to see lots of different types of planets. The visual effects are mostly great, but the errors of the volume are visible at times and the technology used in the last episode was still in its infancy, so at the time I liked it, now not so much. The cast is still great and this is where my love for Pedro Pascal started. He's just so good. The Mandalorian season 2 is objectively not perfect, but in my eyes it is.

This episode would be pretty good even with the sometimes terribly-written dialogues if not for the speeder chase sequence. How did anyone think "we can fix it in post"? Like everything was bad. The shots weren't cool, the visual effects were visible, and the speed is just too slow compared to anything, not to mention the train sequence last episode, that was phenomenal. But to be fair I have to mention that the half minute Kamino scene is perfect.

Boba is led by his nose, but the story isn't smart enough to be surprising. Not everything makes sense. The Twins' actions are inconsequential, the dance sequence at the end makes no sense, since how would he know the moves? But this time, I don't care too much, because there are two amazing sequences. One is extremely cool, while the other is important and beautifully-shot.

My main criticism is that this is not the same guy who fell into the sarlacc pit. He wouldn't have asked the rodian if he wanted to escape. He was never Cad Bane or Aurra, but he also wasn't a good guy. Also, some of the dialogue writing is pretty bad here. When it first came out I liked it. Now not so much.

This is peak Star Wars. Just a week before this, about ten other Star Wars projects were announced. What a time to be alive as a Star Wars fan. There aren't many things that I feel such nostalgia for as I do for this episode. I've seen it many many times. The action is great, the visual effects were good at the time, of course I look at it now and see how soulless the eyes are and I wish it was Sebastian Stan, but it doesn't in any way lessen the episode. This is Star Wars at its best. The dialogues and the themes of this episdoe are just perfect. Mayfeld is such a treasure, he raised some of the most interesting and mature questions in the franchise, while Din's arc took a huge step forward. The action is cool, the visuals are beautiful and the sound design is just iconic.

The title, "The Tragedy" doesn't evem begin to describe the feeling I had at the end of this episode. That day we lost something we couldn't get back. I still can't believe they went there. What a banger of an episode! The music introduces a new theme that's just as good as any other. If I have to criticize one thing, it would be that some of the action was shot like a fan film, or maybe it was the location that made it look like one.

For most people this is a top 3 episode, but this time I found myself disliking a few things. For example, the acting was a bit too intense at times. The moment where Ahsoka asks the big question is weirdly cut off in a way that's unnatural. The border of the StageCraft volume is visible in a few scenes, but if not for these, it would be perfect. I almost cried at the end when Ahsoka's theme started playing, it's just so beautiful.

This was my second favourite episode when I first watched this season. People didn't enjoy it, because Ahsoka wasn't in it, but I knew that already since Filoni was known to direct the following episode. I loved that we went back to Nevarro, back to the characters we grown to love. I love the mission, the action sequences and at the time I thought they were going to connect it to Palpatine and Snoke, which is probably why I loved it even more.

The music is off the charts, the cinematography is great, the visual effects are perfect. We finally learn more about Din's Mandalorian tribe. We also get to see a totally different planet from the other ones. The action is amazing, the imperial characters are well-written, we also get introduced to some new heroes. Just a perfect episode overall.

Previously, this was my least favourite episode of the whole show. This time, I liked it more. I think it laid some of the foundations to the Adelphi base side of things, introduced Carson Teva, a now beloved character. The starfighter chase is probably the most good-looking thing in the show and the visual effects are absolutely perfect in this episode.

Season 2 stars off with a banger episode. It introduces a character I immediately wanted to see more. It also deepens Tatooine lore more than any live action project before. And to my extreme delight, the music is even better than it was in season one. If I have to criticize one thing, is that the visual effects were not always perfect. Also, I have to mention that this is probably the best aspect ratio change I've ever seen, because I always miss it when it happens, because it's so well done.

The way the last episode ended, no one expected the first scene to be comedic in the finale. Although a minute did not go by when one of the scout troopers hit The Child. Who didn't shout at their screens in that moment? Mando's relationship with droids is just so beautifully concluded here. Who would've thought this episode had so many surprises? That ending!

This is the point where the show becomes something else. We get introduced to one of the coolest villains of the post-Lucas era of Star Wars. This is the point where we started to like Greef Karga and the ending just showed us, they're not messing around. You know what? This is the best episode of the season!

This is an episode I didn't really like at first, but 6 years later, I loved it. I suppose I kinda hated the characters, but I began to enjoy watching these **** up people. This is probably the least child friendly episode of the whole show. Also, the actor cameos are top tier here, like Bill Burr in Star Wars? Who would've thought that works perfectly?

This is probably the least liked episode of the season and the one that most fits the term filler. Although at the time, people didn't know what it would start. And I'm not just talking about the guy walking in the last shot. I'm also referring to Fennec. She is a cool character who I never would've expected to see anywhere else.

This is a filler episode, but the best kind. We learn a lot about the main character, we get introduced to a character I originally didn't really like. Maybe because I didn't like Gina Carano's acting, but here she was great. I also didn't like romance, because I felt it was too rushed, I don't dislike it anymore. Oh, and it's refreshing to visit a world that isn't grey or full of sand.

This is a top 3 episode in this season. Mando's decision is the most impactful one he'll ever make. It's pretty obvious what he'll decide, but I'm nervous nevertheless. The shootout scene is just pure gold, especially after he isn't alone. At this point who could've guessed, we'd like Greef Karga later on?

This episode is cool and Kuiil is the goat. It's an important episode, but it didn't impact me as it was supposed to since when I first watched this, I knew about The Child's condition, hence the relative lower rating. Looking back, this one impacted a lot of things going forward, including an important decision and the name of a Mandalorian clan.

The first episode that started it all. It set the tone for the whole first season. It introduced some cool characters like The Mandalorian and actors like Werner Herzog or the late Carl Weathers to this franchise. It also gave us a glimpse into the cutest thing in the world. On top of that, the expantion of Mandalorian lore started right here.

The Mandalorian season 1 is an amazing start to a great show. The characters are layered, well-written and they have great arcs. As a character, The Mandalorian stands out. He has multiple arcs throughout the show, but the way his relationship with droids changes, is beautiful. The Child is the cutest thing on the planet. I always knew that, but on this rewatch, I was still surprised how adorable he can be. It's amazing how this show has so many different directors, while the tone is consistent. The cinematography is the best here, Greig Fraser showed the way and Baz Idoine followed it. The editing is copies the originals too much, after a certain point, it becomes monotonous. The pacing is great though, I love how episodic it is, but at the same time the season is a complete story. The production design is great and the visual effects are revolutionary. As we know, the StageCraft doesn't always work, but when it does, the result is amazing. I just wish it allowed for better contrast. The sound design also copies the original trilogy, but who cares? The sound mixing is also good, but I wish I couldn't hear the difference between Pedro doing ADR and him being in the suit. The cast is amazing, now I can't imagine Star Wars without Pedro Pascal, Bill Burr or the late Carl Weathers. The performances are great, it's interesting to have a main character, whose face you don't see. All this said, hands down the best thing about this show is Ludwig Göransson. I hope he stays with Star Wars for as long as possible. The Mandalorian season 1 started a new era for Star Wars that resulted in a lot of good and some bad results, but ultimately, I can't imagine living in a world without these characters.

The Punisher: One Last Kill is well-made, but it's ultimately just a rehash of stuff that came before. I think it lacked something new. It didn't add to the character. I think they just wanted a short story of him before Spider-Man: Brand New Day, because there he can't do R rater stuff. As I said, it's well-crafted, but the people working on this have made much higher quality films. I thought the cinematography, editing and visual effects were good overall, but compared to something like Daredevil: Born Again, it's a step down. For example, they had good action sequences, they had good shots. Why did they cut away so much? Also, the arc felt rushed, but I totally understand why. The second Frank decided to stop, I felt it was wrong. He wouldn't be able to do that for more than a day. I don't know, maybe I expected too much after the amazing Daredevil season. The Punisher: One Last Kill is flawed, but at least it gave us a new: No no no no no no!

Maul – Shadow Lord season 1 is not perfect, but it's also not too far from it. The characters are well-written, especially our favourite anti-hero protagonist, Maul. Formerly Darth, now just Maul. I always loved him as a villain, but I never expected to shed tears for him, which I did in episode 8. The hierarchy of the quality of the new characters is not what I expected. Jedi are usually written to be dogmatic and boring, while citizens are usually who I find more interesting. Here it was the other way around. I adore both Devon and Master Daki. Spybot and Vario were the ones whose lines were hit or miss. The Lawsons are a stereotypical dad-son duo, but their dynamic worked for me, especially in the last couple of episodes. Speaking of those, after episode 8, it was peak Star Wars animation. Like up there with Jedi Knight, The Phantom Apprentice or Victory and Death. The animation is just out of this world, the brush strokes on the already amazing animation style is something I didn't know I needed but worked perfectly. The sound design is as good as it gets on TV. The scene where Devon is looking for Maul in the dark is just one example of why this deserved to be mastered in Dolby Atmos. Daredevil: Born Again season 1 has it's issues, but it deserves to be right up next to the seasons of the original show. It starts with a banger, then slows down, but the back half is amazing. I think seasons 2 and 3 of the original show are better, but this isn't too far from them. The cinematography is different and if it wasn't for the shaky camera, I'd love it. I still do though, because of the lighting and the constant overexposing.

Jessica Jones is a hard one to review, because it's writing is pretty strong (except for season 2), but the filmmaking is mixed. Season 1 and 3 both had good villains and good protagonists. The cinematography slowly more and more mature, while the editing came together in season 3, because the first two felt way too long.

Jessica Jones season 3 is my favourite season of the show. It doesn't have the best villain, but does have the best story in my opinion. It didn't feel too long like the other seasons and the overall filmmaking got better. I loved Eric, but Trish's arc wasn't enjoyable to watch.

The Punisher is my second favourite Netflix Marvel show despite the second season. I love the character, because he is probably the most complicated protagonist of the whole MCU. Season 1 had better amazing original characters and a great story.

Season 1 of The Punisher is peak Marvel television and not just the Netflix stuff. In my eyes this competes with Loki, especially if I look at the difference in budget. The car chase in episode one amazed me like nothing else in Netflix Marvel and yes maybe the bar is low, but I don't care. I love this character, I really liked the side characters and the action is fantastic.

The Punsiher season 2 has a very interesting premise, but ultimately it doesn't fulfill that perfectly. I liked this season, but some of the characters made annoyingly stupid decisions. Therefore I liked it a lot less than season 1. The existing characters stayed good, while I have mixed feelings about the new additions.

Daredevil is the best Netflix Marvel series. Season 1 is my least favourite with some over intense performances, but it laid the foundations for the rest. Season 2 is a step up, especially because of Frank. Season 3 came back with Fisk, but I enjoyed him much more this time and I also loved the new characters. Overall it's a very strong show that I already want to rewatch.

Daredevil season 3 is the best season of Netflix Marvel so far andI don't think the remaining ones could top this. We start from a pretty bad place, where I didn't really enjoy watching the show, but with great arcs, unpredictable story elements, my interest rose from episode to episode. And than we got the the 4th one. That was absolute television, one of the best episodes I've ever seen. After that there was no stopping, just pure chaos. I loved it.

Luke Cage is very mixed for me. I like the character, I liked some of the villains (Cottonmouth and Bushmaster), but season 1 is unfocused and season 2 is just a mess. Both seasons are a lot longer than they should've been. The filmmaking is surprisingly good at times, but it can't save the corny writing.

Luke Cage Season 2 is a downgrade from the first one. It's too long, more focused than season 1, but has other problems. The characters get tossed around, they don't really have arcs and some of the acting was really not my taste. My biggest critism is the fact that the episodes didn't really feel connected to one another. The pacing is terrible. Although there are still many positives. My favourite scenes were the ones with Shades and Comanche. Furhtermore, I thought Bushmaster is a great villain. Some of the cinematography in the later epsiodes was outstanding, but the ending ruined everything for me.

Iron Fist is the least good of the Netflix Marvel shows, but I think it's overhated. It isn't terrible overall, because there are always good things in every episode. Even ones I thought were really bad. Overall I liked season 1 better, because it started pretty well, but season 2 was more consistent and I liked the finale more.

Season 2 of Iron Fist is more consistent that the first one in the sense that they did not mess up the ending, but overall I liked it less. I thought the dialogues were poorly written, but I liked Davos as the villain, unlike Joy. I thought where they took her in S1 one, didn't make sense (that's why I hated the finale). This season also had bad stuff, but I always had positive thoughts about every episode. The filmmaking wasn't as good overall, but the fight choreography was outstanding.
