Crime Boss: Rockay City8

Certainly not the greatest game, but not terrible either. At sub $40, it's a pretty fun experience, if not shallow. It reminds me a lot of Payday with some additional jank, but a better experience IMO. If they are able to maintain new content, it could be a fun game that entertains for a good bit

Hi-Fi Rush6

I don't think there's ever been a more mid-game, $30 is the smart price, but this game is not a 10, it is not a GoTY contender, and it isn't anything special or memorable, by this time next month, no one will be talking about it because the game has meh replayability. The hype for this game is a lie, it's a 7 at best, but after chapter 7's mediocre self and all the unnecessary hype, it's at a 6 for me.

Really fun game until you notice how stupid the devs were with this. You have to literally make the people do everything, except they won't do it, usually. So students want to drop out because they are sad? Well, don't worry, you told them month 1 to go to the Pastoral office, then boom it's month 11 and they want to drop out because they just haven't gone. It's micromanagement to the most tedious degree. You have to individually send people to EVERY SINGLE thing. Fun at first, but as they add their horrible mechanics to the universities as you progress, you discover very little thought went into this game.

Evil Dead: The Game10
May 21, 2022
The game looks great, never had an issue with lag or connection, people are salty and trolling from DBD, the game has some glitches but it is less buggy than most games and it runs far better than Friday The 13th at launch. The game also looks great and is a fun addition to the genre.

Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War0
Nov 25, 2020
As is typical with every Call of Duty Black Ops: Cold War, their unwillingness to change up the formula ruins it. Have fun with the new COD, featuring quick scoopers, wall hackers, and trash, but don't worry! New and improved non-binary choices, give me a **** break. Don't buy this absolute trash ****.

Madden NFL 210
Aug 30, 2020
Minus the minor changes (which we are all sued to by now), this iteration of Madden NFL is just garbage, it's broken despite them literally only updating the roster. The graphics look the same and it plays similarly to older Madden games minus the fact that it never F***ing works. NFL, please drop EA, we're definitely not going to have a full season this year so I was counting on this to not be trash, now I'm just left with a trash game that barely runs.

The Last of Us Part II10
Jun 23, 2020
Well, here are again, another game being review bomb'd and I'm forced to give a 10, I mean, at least the game isn't far off from it. Let's start, the graphics are amazing, the gameplay is a huge step up (especially for melee and stealth), and the story is fantastic. A lot of people whining about the story are either upset about the LGBTQ+ aspects or they read spoilers with no context and were left enraged before playing the game. The Last of Us 2 is not the sequel I expected, but it is one that is true to its world and characters. The first game shows a man who is willing to do whatever it takes to get his job done, contrary to what Polygon thinks, the game is not about selfless actions or anything remotely about altruism. Joel has a mission, he became attached, and then he literally doomed the entire **** population because he didn't want to lose a daughter figure again. It is understandable, but also, if you came out not thinking Joel is a selfish man (albeit relatable) person, you didn't absorb the story properly and this game likely isn't for you as you entirely missed the point of the first one. Which you can see if you read Polygon's review, which honestly is an embarrassing review because the reviewer just blasted out that she played a game and didn't understand it even remotely. I think the hardest part of this game (for some) is that it really asks you to be a decent human who is capable of complex emotions and hopes that you can place yourself in the shoes of others while things are unfolding. It essentially asks that you go in with one motive and understand why you would possibly change that as events unfold and apparently that is asking too much for some 40,000+ losers review bombing the game. If you enjoyed the first game, play this with an open mind and don't become so attached to your own expectations that you get upset when the creators don't adhere to your every specification.

Only first player can create an island, it is an actual issue for others, but not for me and should still be fixed. This game has a lot of charm and some fun, but a lot of the charm is stepped on by how overly tedious the game is and how terrible the programmers are on a technical side. Want to join an island with a bunch of friends and hold an event? Well, welcome to about 10 minutes of loading screens because every person who comes in NEEDS to essentially reset the island and have a giant loading screen. It isn't just when it comes to playing online, it is just about every aspect from finding certain characters and needing to prompt dialogue with them 5x to get to the right spot (let's pretend that programmers can't make dialogue a continuous thing lol) or trying to fish and the fish moving a little bit out of your way and having to cast the line with little to no aim. You constantly miss shovel spots, hit spots, balloons, and so many things because the way the game is designed is just... very incredibly poor. The developers basically see traditional gaming and try to piss on it, which is fine and dandy, but what's left is a technically bad game with overly tedious moments that take control of the game 95% of the play. It seems like Nintendo hired 3rd year programming students who have some help from veterans on how to get stuff done, but overall you can tell the programmers in this game are just daft and at the end of their wits, which is why it also doesn't shock me that it is one island per Switch, it's literally them being incapable of programming that logic into the game.

Ori and the Will of the Wisps2

I genuinely wanted to love and enjoy this game, but there's nothing enjoyable about it. I highly recommend against it as half the abilities don't work 95% of the time. Whether you're running away from a boss chasing you out of an area (where they don't direct you whatsoever so you'll find yourself confused), fighting said boss, or just trying to navigate the game, it's all so tedious and they provide you with little to no information. Half the controls don't even work for most of the game, I was fighting a boss and it comes to a point where all you can do is melee him, yet the melee doesn't work on him? I'm standing a foot away, swinging a giant hammer, and... nothing, but if I move an inch forward, I take damage. Honestly, there's nothing enjoyable about this game, they downgraded Ori 1 and ruined it with a very poorly executed plot twist at the end that is only there for the sake of making you feel bad... which is again, 95% of the game. It's depressing, down on itself, and doesn't even attempt to be fun. They kill characters that you can't even hope to care for because they do it almost off the bat before any character-building whatsoever. I'm happy I have the Xbox Game Pass because if I spent $30 on a game that doesn't slightly work, I'd be pissed. Stay away from Ori & The Will of The Wisps, it's not as fun or charming as people paint it out to be, the storytelling is next to nonexistent, and it just tries to make you feel **** or depressed in literally every area of the game with little to no satisfaction once you clear an area.

Beautiful graphics, amazing gameplay, and an interesting story. Knack may not offer anything new to the table, but is that really such a bad thing? This platformer is surprisingly charming out the gate and worthy of recognition in a world filled with dull platformers.

Captivating. This game is everything The Walking Dead by Felltale Games tried to be. Beautiful in every aspect acting, story, graphically, and lives to tell a story. The flaws presented in this game are flaws that The Walking Dead shared, but people ignored. I am willing to ignore the flaws due to the minor fact that my choices had some impact, unlike they did in The Walking Dead.

Great game. Better than the first one. More missions, more customization, more masks, and harder content. I've had no problem playing the game whatsoever as well and so far no glitches. The only complaint is that the Safehouse is useless even after launch.

This game has some starting issues, but once you start playing it is a blast. Easily worth the $8.99 I bought it for and the $10 new people will pay for it. If this game gets a Workshop then Killing Floor is lost because where it stands now while different this is almost topping Killing Floor. The only issues are bugs, Always On Mic, Mic Reverb, and lag. Hopefully these issues will be resolved and it seems as if one of the maps are currently broken. By that I mean that map every time I have attempted to play has given me issues. The map is titled Fortress and I'm not sure if it is everyone or not, but it was for my group who tried it 4 times.
