By far one of the best TV shows to come from the MCU. Not only was the casting brilliant, the writing decent, the character arcs done well, and the set up for things even with the Jonathan Majors scandal resulting in some last minute rewrites.

I couldn't get into it, i really didn't like Loki that much, wasted alot of potential, could've been so much better, but wasn't, i'll give it another chance at some point, but these Disney Marvel shows just, aren't that good. Sorry to everyone that likes this show, it's just not my thing i suppose, performances were okay. 5/10 | ️️½

One of the better original series in the MCU, shored up by great actors and an interesting retro-future motif. Season 1 is the stronger of the two, whereas Season 2 is a bit too much Umbrella Academy meets Dr. Who.

Season 1 is excellent sci-fi anchored by some of the best actors in the business. The story is tight, darkly funny and well-paced. Season 2 is slightly less good but still highly enjoyable.

It’s a journey of selfishness to selflessness Of arrogant confidence to humility. Of isolation to friendship Of free will vs determinism All carried by Hiddleston, who has the range to believably act out his transformation. The scope and stakes of this caper just grow and grow. Mobius is prime Owen Wilson. I found it was even better on a second watch-catching the hints I couldn’t catch the first time through.

The God of Mischief is back, and man, does he deliver. Loki, the new Marvel series on Disney+, combines the zany inventiveness of WandaVision with the buddy-comedy rapport we were all missing in The Falcon and the Winter Soldier. Right from the first episode, you know you’re in for a wild, reality-bending ride. With its ambitious, time-hopping premise and eye-popping production design, Loki hits all the right notes, proving Marvel knows exactly how to keep fans on the edge of their seats.First off, let’s talk about the visuals. Hands down, this show’s VFX are a total game changer—not just for Disney+ content but even for the MCU films. We’re talking mind-blowing cinematography and jaw-dropping set pieces that elevate every scene. The production design is so intricate, you can’t help but lose yourself in this expansive, multiversal playground. Every detail feels iconic, from the retro-futuristic vibes of the Time Variance Authority (TVA) to the gorgeous, apocalyptic landscapes that are straight-up **** it’s not all about the aesthetics—this show has heart and smarts. Loki fans, your boy is finally front and center, and Tom Hiddleston is giving us a Loki with layers we’ve never seen before. Sure, we’ve always known he was the villain with a tragic backstory, but now? Now, Hiddleston is diving deep into identity, purpose, and the big, existential question of free will. His journey feels fresh and, dare I say, more relatable than ever. You can tell Hiddleston is fully trusting the process, and the payoff is some real character evolution that hits differently this time **** can we talk about the bromance we didn’t know we needed? Hiddleston and Owen Wilson as Mobius M. Mobius—this duo is pure gold. Their banter is sharp, hilarious, and surprisingly emotional, with Wilson bringing that dry, deadpan humor that balances Loki’s chaotic energy. It’s like your classic grizzled detective paired with an unpredictable trickster, and it’s working, big time. Watching them riff off each other is a joy in itself, adding that much-needed levity while still pushing the plot **** show also brings a lot of heavy Marvel nerd content, especially in the worldbuilding department. Casual fans are going to get hooked by the clever plot twists and quirky TVA shenanigans, but hardcore fans? They’re gonna lose their minds with the deeper, next-level storytelling. Loki’s multiversal misadventures open up so many doors for the MCU that we’ve never seen explored in live-action. The possibilities feel endless, and it’s clear Marvel is laying the groundwork for something **** let’s not forget Sophia Di Martino as Sylvie. Her introduction shakes things up in the best way, providing a fresh dynamic that challenges Loki in ways we haven’t seen before. Without giving too much away, let’s just say Sylvie adds a layer of unpredictability that keeps you on your toes—and the chemistry between her and Hiddleston? Electric.Halfway through the season, Loki becomes proof that Marvel’s small-screen ventures are more than just filler—they’re expanding the universe in ways that the movies can’t. The show isn’t afraid to lean into its weirdness, and honestly, that’s what makes it so fun. Whether it’s the quirky TVA bureaucracy or the trippy multiverse logic, Loki keeps you glued with its bold, clever storytelling and emotional depth. With time travel, crime-solving, and a ton of moral questions packed in, Loki is ambitious, stylish, and everything we hoped it would be. It’s that perfect balance of action-packed spectacle and introspective character study. And if the show keeps leaning into that multiverse madness, it’s going to be a glorious ride for fans. This is Loki as we’ve never seen him before—still chaotic, still hilarious, but now? Now, he’s got a shot at real redemption.Marvel has officially raised the bar for Disney+ shows, full stop. And if you weren’t already on board, trust me, this show will make a believer out of you.

Loki had a great first season but fell apart in the second, and I'm not sure what the show can hope to do now in the wake of Majors' firing. The first season was a great exploration into this version of Loki, and his twisted-but-compelling romance with Sylvie was great to watch too. I love the leaning into sci-fi that this show does and it often felt very much like Doctor Who, so I was naturally hooked. The show does a great job with its pacing all the way to the end. I do think the actual threat level rolls off a cliff in the final episode and I did want slightly more action, but the scene with He Who Remains talking to Loki and Sylvie and explaining to them how stuff really works was great. Also loved the hype building about Kang. Second season I really struggle to remember, I know there was Kangs in different periods popping up but I remember feeling that the show was stalling a bit and didn't have anywhere new to go. Now, I have no idea where it can go. I love the character of Loki and the first season slaps, but it needs to completely reset what it's going for in Season 3 and beyond.

One of Disney's best series, surpassing WandaVision, very good characters, even better story, it's an outcome that is ABSOLUTE CINEMA.

This is the best Thing we’ve seen come out of marvel in a while. the finale is amazing. in some parts of it, it’s pretty slow but I don’t really mind it.

Can we just acknowledge how the best mcu project in the past 2 years is a show where Loki of all characters goes on whacky retro futuristic timetravel adventures that doesn't even seem to have an effect on the greater mcu for now and almost works as it's own standalone thing?

Kinda boring. Hiddleston did an amazing job in his role as always! The plot advanced at a very slow rate and wasn't as exciting. The storyline was a little hard to follow as well.

This has one of the most perfect endings for an original Marvel cast character. I am baffled at the low score for this, some saying this is worse than the MARVELS! Such a shame as these bad reviews for Loki from these popcorn munchers are only further encouraging Disney to release more bad content like the Marvels. Now this show being over and no one respecting it, i can officially say that Marvel is dead.

Deftly weaving together the second-season narrative braids, this episode should be studied by all other showrunners for how it delivers the finale of a redemption story to both astound and delight an audience. It may even be the best hour of MCU ever produced for any medium. Drama, pathos, metaphysics, fine acting, all on top of beautiful production design, bravo; the god of stories would be proud of you.

This show has some of the worst writing of any series I have ever watched - it is a hot mess. Worst of all it is dull and boring. I am forcing myself to try and get through it for some kind of payoff at the end but omg it is a hard slog.

R.I.P old Loki, god of mischief... We'll miss you! That moment when two good actors can create interest for a weak series, but the story is boring and uninteresting... A lot of bad writing...

Tbh, Loki is better than any other show or movie in the MCU.
I love the mix of the retro noir and futuristic time traveler kinda style.

A chick-flick for man-hating people with no brains. Boring. Loki was one of my favorite characters from the films. A god indeed? They so blatantly tore him down, showing him as a weak, simpy, shell of a "man" wearing a business suit (blatant symbolism: of course, they hate the capitalism that gave them their technology and ease) like a love-sick puppy following the one who is strong and wears the cool Loki armor! **** writing. **** dialog. **** plot. Waste of time.

Misandry, dis-empowerment, and emasculation of a previously cool and fun character? No thank you!

Loki's story was as messy as its plot's premise was. At times the story and interactions were boring and felt like a slog to watch. Didnt help that most of the characters were not as memorable or likeable at the least. Still cannot believe this got a second season when something like Falcon and the Winter Soldier, Hawkeye or Ms Marvel should have gotten one.

Absolutely stellar show. I love the worldbuilding that this show does, and the twists in the lore that this show creates throughout the episodes kept me watching from start to finish. The acting is really good, the soundtrack is amazing, and the visuals are stunning. Cannot wait for season 2!

The tv show is the best yet of Loki and the movies and I enjoyed it a lot to and theirs is a lot of action in it.

Overrated as hell. Removes the concept of free will from Phases 1-3 making literally every action before then feel pointless because it was already planned out.

Its hilarious the Marvel executives thought this show was a good idea. Brining Loki back into MCU completely ruins one of the strongest parts of Avengers Infinity War. Most of the dialogue is painfully boring and cringe. One of the main storylines is Loki falling in love with a female version of himself.... yikes. Awful Disney Plus MCU muck.

I love Loki as a character and Tom Hiddleston really shines here. They do his character justice and leads perfectly into where the MCU is headed - Kang.

Marvel did justice with Loki here. We see great performances accompanied by humorous and emotional interactions between Tom Hiddleston's Loki, Owen Wilson's Mobius, and Di Martino's Sylvie. Loki's character is broken down and explored and he's finally facing himself and the why and how of his choices in life. The visual effects are a significant part of the series and are done beautifully. The show also explores some new places and concepts in the MCU which in the end promises an even better Season 2 now that the story is set and ready. The writing and its pace could have been better though; at some points, it felt a little dull.

The show ended in a power point presentation, but the Marvel brand is more important than good storytelling I guess
