Mattel is doing a great job of releasing comedic films based upon their toy lines (first Barbie, now Masters of the Universe) that focus primarily on nostalgia and then mix in the underlying message of the toy line – in this case, that the true power to overcome adversity and do good lies within each of us. This movie is F-U-N, and in a good way.

This film has excellent cinematography, but that's about it. Few of the roles are cast with an appropriate actor. The story is fractured and directionless, and all of the dialogue is very modern. The sets are decent, however the costumes look made of cheap materials when viewed close up. The sound mixing is also very uneven.

It's yet another film by Lanthimos in which he snickers at the pain and misfortune of others as they torture one another and themselves. Can we all agree that Lanthimos is mentally ill and rescue Emma Stone now?

A twisty crime thriller that takes place over the course of one eventful night and will keep you guessing about who's clean and who's dirty up until the end.

It's sufficiently enjoyable watching Charlize Theron engage in outdoor sports around the world that she could start a reality series about this and I would be hooked. The manhunt thriller storyline is cliche, and unbelievable, and only disrupts what's actually good about this film.

The best parts of this film are Ariana's singing, the art direction, costumes, sets, and the moments in which we get to see how the characters and events from the original Wizard of Oz came into being. The story and songwriting are a bit lackluster.
