I like this film: this is grounded street level Spider-Man, not some multiverse or saving universe ****! We got optimism, we got heroism and colors - all we forgot years ago... PROS: All Spider-Man plot. His dynamic with Punisher, Hulk, even MJ and Ned - but Spider-Man is still main character, great to see this arc. Great visuals (including CGI), action, fight choreography, dialogues, and acting (even Zendaya is actually acting), decent plot, nice twist, good pacing. Best role of Tom Holland? Probably! Emotions have time to run their course; they aren't killed by silly humor! But there is humor when needed. Great adaptation of comics and games. If we overlook a few minor flaws, there is 9/10, but... CONS: (1) This Jean Grey is just cruel, sadistic and evil - by choice, and nothing can change this, there is no redemption arc and there is no consequences (this is a recap of Wanda's thread). Punisher is a "morally ambiguous" character, John Walker from "Falcon and Winter Soldier" is "morally ambiguous" character; she is not! She is also responsible for the biggest gaps in the story, so -1. (2) Yelena is useless, her scenes should be cut without loss for the film - no one cares. She brings nothing! BTW: Yelena from the "New Avengers" tells Spider-Man - who fought Thanos as part of the Avengers - how important she is, while he’s so insignificant. . . pathetic. (3) A little too long, maybe. || Best Marvel since "Avengers: Endgame" - in my humble opinion. PS There is no "superhero fatigue" there is "bad Disney-MCU fatigue"! After Jean I am afraid about Doomsday and next X-Men movie.

An impressive cast and a dreadfully boring movie... and zero immersion! Style over substance. PROS: Nolan's technical prowess. Effects. CONS: Changes that make the story not make sense! Modern american language ("f-bomb" included). Incredibly stupid dialogs. The actors play some version of themselves because there is no in-depth characterization of the characters. Botox galore... Even visuals quality is strangely low! Bleak, dark, depressing... Sterile. Every scene is small, nothing epic here! Lots of "tell not show" moments! Pacing problems! Constant cuts! The first part is a boring series of "and then", second part is better. It's hard to get into the movie! Something is wrong with the sound-mix; it's hard to understand what they're saying - constant noise, drum beating. The soundtrack is mostly awful. Hard to watch! Hard to enjoy! Nothing to remember. Without Nolan's name attached, this movie is meh at best. As adaptation: 0/10, as original film: 5/10. PS Why IMAX?

I was expecting something on par with "Close Encounters", some kind of a spiritual sequel, but what I got was a really bad episode of late "The X-Files" - not even... something worse. Generic "chase macguffin" thriller, incoherent and shallow story, infodump... this film is simply long and boring. The plot is predictable; there have been many films on a similar theme, but better. Zero character development. Fundamental flaws in logic. Awkward dialogue. Poor CGI... The ending of a film should be its beginning. And the idea that evidence must be disclosed in the main media seems bizarre from today's perspective. Yeah, I've lost faith that Spielberg will ever make another good movie. PROS: The actors are decent (especially Emily Blunt), but they don't have anything to work with. Music? A few scenes.

Three episodes of the series duct-taped together: barely a movie... It's cheap, it's boring, it's generic, it's low quality even for streaming... content. VISUALS: meah at best, locations are decent, but CGI animations are very low quality (AI-alop can be better)! The large screen only highlights the shortcomings. Dark to hide the quality of CGI. Sometimes scenes are almost monochromatic... STORY: No stake, incoherent, generic fetch-quest, terrible writing, exposition dump in repeated dialogs, characters paper thin, brainrot just to kill time and sell merch. The movie drags on as if it were a week long. Grogu is ****. Sigourney Weaver is here only for paycheck. Cringy Filoni cameo. WT. happended here? Save your time and money, eventually watch on D+ later if you must... R.I.P Star Wars. PS Empty seats on premiere weekend - that's brutal.

Solid sci-fi, a very positive portrayal of first contact. The characters are well played and easy to relate to: Rocky is outstanding. Visually stunning, with superb set design: almost everything is practical, without unnecessary CGI. "Hard sci-fi," a touch of humor, a dash of emotion - a brilliant combination. It’s been a long time since I’ve seen a sci-fi movie this good.

Animation is OK-ish... But story is total crap. They turned a character who didn't even have a name in Tolkien's work into a powerful girl-boss and main protagonist. Why? Tolkien himself wrote so many great stories, so why?

2026: Nobody is laughing anymore... now it's a documentary. Fortunately, I watched this film when it was a comedy.

When the fight against “toxic masculinity” leads to the deconstruction of the Predator species... If you treat it like generic sci-fi for kids - it's OK! Good visuals, decent CGI, ubderdog story, friends, action, adventure, childish humor with constant quipping, animal companion, PG13 - generic Disney or Pixar: 5/10. It's not "woke" nor "****" - it's generic, maybe boring and sometimes stupid! But if you looking for old good Predator - sorry... everything here is wrong! It's like being able to befriend a shark in the "Jaws"... PS I even smiled a few times, but I don't want to laugh at film about Predator.

Impressive: Disney has destroyed yet another IP. It may not have been my very favorite IP, but was solid and always enjoyable to watch. Now it's gone. And so we have a soft reboot aimed at the mythical “modern audience”. Don't bother - it's blunt boring... empty action flic. Tron film without Tron. Bait and switch... PROS: Great visuals. Action? Soundtrack? Nostalgia? CONS: Everything else... script, story, characters, dialogs, acting!!! (Trust me, Jared Leto isn't the biggest problem here.) No elemental logic! Skip this film, save your money, watch on D+ maybe - if you really want to... It's more techdemo.

In 1982 it was "WOW"! New, innovative and creative! Still great to watch. Stylish retro-futuristic sci-fi. Decent, original story. Good acting.

Just re-watched it... This movie is so silly that it's actually quite funny. Take it with a grain of salt.

It was fun mess, but a very comic-like movie. Superman is not main character in film called "Superman", strange... Great casting, but film is average at best. Aaction-packed popcorn flick... The dog should be on a leash... Luther is caricaturally evil. Mr Terriffic stole the show... he was more Super than Superman. The excess of silly humor ruined most of the scenes. Onetimer... but ff I'm going to watch a mediocre movie, I prefer something with action. EDIT: on second viewing, it's just plain boring.

It was fine... live-action "Incredibles" knock-off ;) Great visuals - but dark and grayish blue, CGI mostly OK, decent soundtrack, casting and acting OK, team/family themes. Self-contained! MCU Humor toned down (thx!). Simple, straightforward and predictable story. Characters are likable, but almost no character arc for main protagonists. Many good ideas have not been developed. Main "scary" vilian is a joke, reduced to kaiju almost! First half of the film is quite good and then everything falling on face... Third act and final are cringy. In fact, we learned almost everything about the story from PR materials - WHY?. A few really good scenes, a few emotional moments, but nothing that will stay in your memory for long. Shallow onetimer, but first step in right direction, maybe...

Action, humor and a pretty well presented and humorous vision of the future world. Stallone, Snipes and the excellent Sandra Bullock provide a lot of fun. Practical special effects make the film still very watchable. A classic of the 90s, a must watch. Pure fun!

When the idiots at Netflix wanted to make “Little Mermaid” in the world of The Witcher... PROS: Animation is quite good.

The movie was not bad, well told story, well acted, quite good thriller... CONS: Music - detached, as if from another movie, very anti-climactic!

Just good film. Interesting, well told story, good acting (Keanu Reeves, Djimon Hounsou, Tilda Swinton, Peter Stormare - they were just great!), high quality CGI (aged very well). Very high rewatch factor.

Dark gothic story. Great protagonist. A well-written, coherent and quite emotional story. And great music!

The reboot no one asked for... Film trying to be "edgy" and "cool", but this is Joker in a very generic world. Boring origin story, emo protagonist, blood and gore and bad CGI... ****, souless cash grab, waste of time. Go watch 1994's original.

Great ending to the Wolverine story, this is how superheroes should leave!!!

PROS: Goofy and fun, self aware, classic Deadpool... and Wolverine done right (which was not easy after great “Logan”). Great chemistry Reynolds - Jackman! And yes: Hugh Jackman is particularly good. Lots of cameos - even more than cameos: characters with a small role to play (.....! THIS .....!)! Cassandra Nova brilliantly played by Emma Corrin! Fan service, a tribute to the days of FOX - although very twisted. Action, violence... even few dramatic moments. Standalone, very loosely connected to MCU. No preaching, pure escapizm. CONS: Multiverse, as always. Lazy story, bit chaotic and messy. Uneven pace. Main villian is flat. Lots of unnecessary vulgarity. CGI, mostly. Too many jokes, not all of them landed. Jokes about Marvel are just safe... Maybe too long... As a movie it's 5/10 max but as entertainment it's 9/10. I had a good time, but was hoping for more! It was more "guilty pleasure" than really good film. But worth to watch!

It's colorfull, action paced, visualy stunning nothingburger... but my inner 12-year-old me was delighted!

Lots of cuts, lots of changes, the story gets almost unrecognizable.... I get the impression that Yates is the worst thing that could happen to the “Harry Potter” series!

I hate this dark, green tinted color palette... The understatement of the previous parts resulted in an very incoherent story. Sadly, all magic is lost. This part is mostly boring, yet it shouldn't be so...

Even more shortcuts led to the appearance of almost unconnected scenes... Well, and here we have the dumbest scene in the entire series: when Gini ties Herry's shoes. Who thought that this scene is good and we will give it in the film? (-1) But the music was quite good again.

The film is sort of a short and not very accurate summary of the novel... The story is somewhat chaotic and rushed, but Luna appears brilliantly rendered by the actress. And music is meh at best.

One of the best parts in the series, if not the best. The adult world enters Harry's world, everything changes, as can be seen from the excellent visuals of this part. In addition, excellent music that becomes an important part of the scenes.

The only part I didn't watch in the cinema (because I wasn't interested), I hit by chance on TV, a few years later.... Yes, it was crap! In every way! The only Star Wars movie I saw once. Nonsensical story, but I didn't expect anything else, the only surprise was that the story destroys the message of the entire original trilogy!

I did not know what happened (I know now), but I had the impression of watching a poor Star Wars fake. A parody even! Luke destroyed as a canonical character, we got an old bitter dude drinking green milk.... Even more Mary Sue, side characters sent on an idiotic quest for nothing.... The story is stupid, the quality is getting worse....

I remember: I went excited to the cinema to watch the next part of Star Wars, but as I watched, my excitement faded. The main character is a textbook Mary Sue, the old characters were just there to emphasize her greatness. The side characters suffered from a lack of ideas as the story progressed. The ending gave hope for something better in the second part, finally Luke will be there....

The culmination of the Anakin trilogy. Lots of action, great fight scenes, lots of emotion. Excellent ending!

More action, more characters, a well-paced story. The focus is on the development of the main character. It is good.

A good start to the prequel trilogy. The pace is a bit slow, getting to know the characters and the world. Some humorous elements were not needed (I'm looking at you Jar-Jar), but it's good. The scale of the world is definitely larger than in the original trilogy, the politic of the world is shown, which is interesting.

When the giant cruiser appeared on the screen you could hear the people in the theater holding their breath! The film was breathtaking in its effects, offered a great adventure, excellent characters and an amazing world. The film is so good that it defends itself even today. The perfect combination of a family film and something darker, menacing and disturbing. A great teaser for the things to come... Beautiful shots, lots of action, still quite faithful to the book original.
