Incredibly disgusting and vulgar show, that is a symptom of the current state of the USA.

While the first season of Gen V was a decent side story to The Boys, the show's second season really ups the ante. While I'd say that the writing of the show sometimes verges on being trite or corny, the acting is outright phenomenal. Everyone here is elevating what has been written for them, and are getting to act around some fairly interesting plot developments. Despite its occasional shortcomings and somewhat cliché moments, Gen V's quality mostly reaches the high bar set by The Boys, and while its ending feels like it closes the show out appropriately, news of the show's cancellations makes me disappointed that we won't get to see any more of what it brought to the table. I hope to see the stars of the show move on to other media that further demonstrates their acting chops.

it s a spinn of so we cannot expect much, but he do his job waiting for the last season of the boys that expect will be a bit more interesting that the last season that is a sort **** preparation for the end, but gen v has all the typical the boys' loved caratteristic like splattering, no turnbacks and a criptic and unexpected story

Gen V returns with the same energy and audacity as its first season. This The Boys spin-off keeps proving it’s more than just an extension — it’s a perfect complement: just as wild, just as irreverent, but with a younger and sometimes more emotional point of view. From the very first episode, that addictive mix of violence, satire, and dark humor kicks in, moving at a pace that never lets you breathe. What’s most impressive is how natural it all feels amid the chaos. The show remains sharp, bloody, and absurd in the best possible way, but it also finds space for moments of calm that expose the insecurities and scars of its characters. Between all the gore and superpowers, there’s genuine reflection on mental health, pressure to succeed, and the fear of not being **** cast stays strong, with Jazz Sinclair and Lizze Broadway carrying the emotional weight beautifully. The new additions bring fresh energy that fits perfectly with the story’s evolution. There’s chemistry, tension, and an urgency that makes every episode fly by. No filler, no dead air — and when it ends, you’re left wanting much **** connection with The Boys is tighter than ever, yet Gen V keeps its own pulse. It doesn’t rely on cameos or references to stand tall — its tone, world, and humor are more than enough. It’s sharper, darker, and at times more honest than the original **** an ocean of superhero fatigue, Gen V remains a bloody breath of fresh air. It entertains, provokes, and reminds us that The Boys universe still has a lot to say. If the first season surprised us, this one confirms it: there’s story, style, and a fearless desire to keep tearing down the genre’s clichés.

This is the equivalent of those cringey superhero CW shows... with more sex and gore. What's the obsession of Kripp with toilet humor and disgusting fetishes?

“Gen V” temporada 2 eleva todo lo que hacía divertida la primera: más violencia, más sarcasmo y más locura universitaria. Los personajes crecen entre crisis existenciales y litros de sangre, mientras la historia se conecta mejor con The Boys. Es irreverente, intensa y adictiva, como una clase de ética dictada por Homelander. Una de las mejores cosas que Prime Video ha hecho últimamente.

Do you violently detest a single group of people because of the colour of their skin to the point where you believe that their annihilation is the final solution? Do you enjoy the use of gratuitous nudity as a form of ritual humiliation of a single specific gender? Do you support the normalisation of child alcohol and drug abuse? Do you appreciate the sexualisation of children? Do you believe that any and all diversity of thought is evil and should be violently shut down at any cost? Do you support the “current thing” without bothering to learn what the “current thing” is?
If you answered “yes” to all of these questions, then we have the show for you….

Perhaps the biggest complaint about the Boys from Wokedom was that it was too white and too old. This spinoff resolves those nasty faults with black leads and mostly GenZers, who are comically naive and self-obsessed at the same time, lending to numerous humorous encounters. The show is actually required viewing as it fills in gaps of the Boys, which is still better, IMHO.

Yawn. Some TV shows are so good they just do not age, even if fashion or language changes. This one is the opposite. Watching this in 2025, it feels like being forced to sit through some sad old leftist Karen's formerly wet dream. This is the most dated, tired try-hard woke-fest imaginable. Aged like milk. Ticks all the pseudo-progressive boxes without any real rhyme or reason for a tiresome struggle-session.

Not the greatest, but it passes the time. There is a lot of gross stuff, which is always fun. And the adding Hamish Linklater to the cast was smart because he's good in almost everything he's been in since way back with "Legion" (now that's a great show). But much of the dialog is bad, many of the characters are obnoxious, and the writing choices are obvious. You know where all of it is going before it get's there.

After an - "Okay - That passed the time" First season - The second season feels like horribile fan fiction - I don't like saying this - But I understand the waves of normal people who complain about D.E.I / Woke agendas -- this show propagates all of that - Like an A.I box ticking thing.

Its a mixed bag of high budget nonsense. Season 1 was pretty entertaining but season 2 has lost itself in current Hollywood politics instead of focused good writing. A shame how the mighty has fallen!

The second season of Gen V is off to a start so terrible I'm starting to think the first season was a masterpiece. I barely made it through that one, but as a fan of The Boys comics and show, I kept telling myself, "It's more good than bad." Well, I've officially given up on that mantra. I was actually stupid enough to get my hopes up for Gen V, and now I'm paying for it. The idiocy on screen is so next-level that you'd have to be lobotomized to actually enjoy it. Save yourself the trouble.

More excessive sex and violence in the world of The Boys, but this time injected with a healthy dose of teen angst. There's also more character development than in the original series.

I’m cool with the politics and love The Boys. But acting performances can be weak. Everyone uses ‘****’ as punctuation which is wearing. The characters are all generally dislikeable and self absorbed. it has its moments but it’s not great. I’ll watch to the end of season but might think twice about watching another.

Atrocious, utterly atrocious. The first episodes were good, then it fell into the same woke narrative that the boys took the pee out of. It has became what it saught to destroy by pushing political narrative with needless romance, needless search for cultural appeasement. The one twist was great, however it was completely overshadowed in its episode by relationship nonsense and teen drama. It genuinely lastedonly 5 minutes.

Average American show. All the white characters are evil, minorities are superior heroes. Show glorifies drug usage and random partner sex.Story is boring and the ending is disappointing.

This show is pretty much an in-between of seasons 3 of the boys and the upcoming season 4. Some of the events that happen in it are likely to at least be mentioned in season 4, so if you’re a fan of the boys you need to watch it. Likewise if you haven’t watched season 1-3 of the boys then be sure to do so before you start this, else you won’t understand who a lot of the character are or even what’s going on in the later episodes. For anyone worried this would be a superhero high school type CW show that throws away the dark and graphic nature of the boys, then rest assured it’s absolutely not. The plot revolves around an underlying conspiracy at the university. The twist this time is that it’s powered characters that are the good guys. There is some teenage angst in this 8-part series but it’s always a side plot and doesn’t take the main focus away. My only annoyance with this show is that it continues the weird trend in the boys series to have a heavy focus on full frontal male nudity. There’s a lot of it in this franchise and it doesn’t really add anything.

Although not as entertaining as "The Boys", this show is quite exciting and revolutionary despite being less action-packed. Some of the characters are corny and their relationships even less wanted. However, the idea of superhero life on a college campus is something new, and the plot ties in well with the original show. For a spin-off, it's quite good.

For fans of "The Boyz" I really enjoyed this series. It expands the lore really well and the actors do a really decent job. Plot had me engaged and begging for more. Has really brutal moments and also really funny ones. I understand less than average reviews that are objective and judge the show on its merits. However, much of the below average reviews are silly socially conservative perspectives. These people have no idea what they're talking about and are the ones that are actually brainwashed.

One big disappointment, typical another PC drama. Whoever wrote the Gen V script either don't understand "The Boys" or never watched it. The center theme of "The Boys" is - "Power corrupts, absolute power corrupts absolutely". The power struggles between Homelander and the rest of everyone reveals in how mental he is. For example, he will sacrifice the whole plane crash and how he turned that PR disaster into opportunity, is fascinating. Normal teenagers can be quite selfish. So think about what superpower will bring them into. Also, the girl with superpower changing peoples mind, she is pretty and she happens to be the most caring and selfless among the Gen V, really!!!???? This just doesn't make sense. The whole "found the truth" thing is so amateur writer level.

Very good spin off, its bloody like The Boys. I liked every episode and couldnt wait to come home to watch it. Not many series gets me so much. Of course it has all kind of genders but who the f cares about it anymore :)

Quite likely the worst TV series I've seen in a long while. The only reason I've watched it till the end is because the creators stated its events will be extremely important to the plot of the 4th season of The Boys, and I regret every second I've wasted on this woke garbage.

Surprisingly good spin-off, that at times is actually better than its progenitor, due ot having a tighter focus and just generally being a LOT of fun. If you're wondering why the audience score is comparatively low, just check the low-scoring reviews; almost every single one of them boohoo about the fact that there are blacks, asians and transgender people among the main cast. Sad, sad people.

I've watched the whole season and it's time to reconsider my rating... The series was not bad, but it could have been better. The first three episodes were excellent... And then the loss of quality began: the characters stopped developing, their history no longer affected them, the main protagonist, Marie, is flat and uninteresting - simply plank of wood. A lot of very bad and lazy writing. Short, without logic - but yeah, still spectacular... Final episode was so lazy, almost cringy! I'm disappointed. This series wouldn't have made it on its own if it weren't from The Boys franchise.

Half of the episodes are just summing up what happened in previous episodes... All those long hours of show to end up on a quite mediocre 30min long finale. It had potential. First three episodes were solid. Then the show went downhill straight to the abyss.

Gen V is what a spin off should be. I initially had my doubts. I wasn't expecting an incredible, mind-boggling, award winning show but more like a good, entertaining serial, and it delivers on that. Has it's own personality without deviating too much from the original source. They really nailed their pacing, their characters had depth and the world was built quickly. And it's not just dumb fun, it talks about a lot of societal issues in interesting ways and it feels like a breath of fresh air in the genre of teen drama. Definitely give it a watch. I cannot wait for season 4 of the boys and season 2 of gen v.

A ton of fun. I love all The Boys connections and how Gen V is connected to it. Super stoked that the show is picked up for a season 2.

The political messaging and identity politics just make the protagonists unlikeable, and everything else just seems like a soup of modern pander writing. its just difficult to get immersed in this kind of tripe.

Look, I'm getting tired of this racial and gender prejudice. I knew, going forward after the first 9 minutes of the film, they are going to have a "lets hate the white man" stereotype. As it continued through, it kept going. I appreciated the boys, as it picked on everyone but showed nobody was the bad person per say, but more of the product of their environment. This just guts that out and puts in a "let's show the struggles of women and minorities everywhere." Nothing wrong with that and point taken. When you are implying everyone has it bad except a select group; that is painting a picture and putting an indirect influence on people's opinions. When I was a kid, after watching so many shows about superheroes and cops being inept, it gave me a bad impression cops don't know how to catch people as an example. This is no different, this Gen W**e needs to stop.

I am displeased that twice in a day, ip's I enjoy have taken a wide swing of the imaginative. The gritty vibe of The Boys has been replaced with an R rated edgy Nickelodeon teen drama. Not for me.

Jaz Sinclair as Marie destroys an otherwise entertaining show. Her "acting" is unnatural and simply not good. The rest of the actors make a good job.

All scrapped elements from The Boys in a soulless and cheesy show! Embarrassing and awfully written. You will beg for the end after 15 minutes...

One of the early episodes featured a shocking obscene, disgusting, X-rated act. Hard to believe that it was central part of the story involving miss tiny. I thought my teen granddaughters might like this series. I wish I could take back my recommendation. I am no prude but this should never been included.

Absolutely horrid. First off, do you understand how difficult it is to even find out that these characters are mostly original creations just for this show? Once you get past that you start to understand that this show is just a spin off tool of the same thing infecting TV and movies. They took something that pushed the boundaries and used it as a vehicle for their own ends and in the process created something utterly unwatchable. I absolutely adored the character of Emma but after 5 episodes I had more than enough and turned it off. Save yourself the effort and dont even start.

As funny and violent as 'The Boys,' but some characters are rather dull. Still, it looks like everything is leading towards an explosive finale.
