A wonderfully well made movie with excellent performances all around. Malcolm McDowell is rarely as entertaining as he is here as HG Wells chasing Jack the Ripper through time, yes that's really the plot and it's amazing.

Time After Time is one of the most famous films about time marches. But now in 2022 the film does not pass the test of time. The plot is boring and does not use the concept of a time loop in any way. There is no logic in the work and the main thing in creating a time machine. In general, personally, this film seemed boring to me, I did not see Sci-Fi here
