The Bad Guys is a very good Dreamworks film that has an amazing soundtrack featuring a lot of brass instruments as well as great animation, story and heist scenes but the fart jokes and a few other elements make it a 9 instead of a 10.

One of the best animated films in recent years in a market full of cheaply written reboots and sequels, it's good to see an original idea in a movie with excellent plot twists and engaging characters. Sam Rockwell does a great job voicing Wolf and everyone else including Wolf else is well developed and poignant. The Bad Guys is a great movie.

The Bad Guys was never a bad movie, I had an amazing time with it and had a blast, the animation was awesome, the characters were fun and this movie was great! Plus the fox's hot.

The best movie from DreamWorsk and Universal. The movie based on the book is full of action and adventure with a 2D effect. The best films one from DreamWorks. I congratulate the makers and the crew for making the film.

It's crazy, stylish, slick and inventive as The Bad Guys is absolutely spectacular and out of this world.

Will keep the kids entertained for about an hour and a half. It's watchable for adults but isn't anything all that special. It's not up there with the greats that can be enjoyed by both children and adults like Toy Story or Shrek.

Great film! One of the best released in 2022. The film has a good plot, great characters, and a compelling story. It also has an insanely good soundtrack. A great movie you should watch.

Based on a children's book, it is one of the few successes that Dreamworks has made in recent years. The humor and twists boast a certain ingenuity so that children and young adults enjoy it equally.

It’s got some fun moments and a good cast. Unfortunately it’s very predictable and feels unfulfilling.

This movie peaks in the first 15 minutes. It takes away everything that made the original books so endearing. The entire movie is A heist movie with the characters from the books. The villain is completely ruined too turning him from a horrifying yet funny alien creature into a generic not thought out one. The new designs of the characters are simply bad. They ruined the designs with a smooth animation style and completely ditch the scribbly charming style.

The story is funny, the animation is amazing combining 2D and 3D animation including the movements of the characters. And honestly I just mostly loved the character redesigns. It really has improved better than the book. Although I have not read the books I may plan to read them. But let me be honest. The only reason I came to watch this movie is the two characters that I fell in love with which they are Mr. Wolf and Diane Foxington. They are so attractive and it made me fall in love with them, If you wanted to find a crime movie with the new anthropomorphic animals. Then this movie is best recommended to watch.

This cartoon is very well animated, especially Diana Foxington (she's a cutie). The music and the cast are PERFECTLY matched, I even downloaded this music for myself)) Greetings from Udmurtia

A very funny and enjoyable movie also unlike Disney actually does a twist villain correctly. The main characters the bad guys are very enjoyable and fun to watch. Dreamworks has definitely improved very recently

Uma surpresa bem agradável essa animação, que começa muito engraçada com a apresentação dos personagens, basicamente animais que trabalham junto em uma espécie de gangue de assaltantes. O grande destaque é ver o salto de qualidade da Dreamwork, visualmente eu diria que esta década de 2020 está em uma evolução bem maior que a Pixar (que aliás, vem decaindo desde sua parceria com a Disney), ainda que o enredo dos seus filmes leve mais para o humor do que para temas mais reflexivos, entrega sempre algo de qualidade e acima da média. Veja no quesito técnico, a animação está realmente bonita, das cores ao enquadramento. As cenas de perseguição de carro podem servir até mesmo para vários filmes de ação que se vê por aí. Já o roteiro, embora eu tenha achado previsível demais, o problema é que ainda não há um meio termo entre ser bonzinho ou ser vilão, como nos filmes áureos da Pixar. Aqui, tudo é muito caricato, e o roteiro brinca com a expectativa dos grupos, mas não foge à regra da caricatura. Contando com coadjuvantes simpáticos, e acertando no tom, na duração, na edição e na cor, "Tha bad guys" é mais um acerto do estúdio, que vale a diversão.

With relentless gags that work, "The Bad Guys" is a successful DreamWorks comedy without worries. With a halving rhythm, alternating a humor of bad and nice, twists in spite of a rather classic plot in the end. This film can only be plentiful to watch (especially with this crazy animation) thus reflecting the theme of our big nice wolf.

The bad guys A fast paced thrilling ride. It is witty, charming and humourous, with its humour woven into the plot, making it essential and not for the sake of. With an animation style that is inspired by Spiderman: into the spiderverse, the bad guys is visually stunning and dazzling. Its 2d and 3d elements blending beautifully. The bad guys packs a memorable array of characters that are voiced deftly by the cast. The bad guys reminds me of another animation from the previous year, back to the outback, and it also draws inspiration from heist movies like Oceans 8. The twists keep coming, and they're presented in a well-fashioned manner.

Typical, American animation. The Bad Guys is a heist story. The story is a bit complicated. I liked the characters. It seems that I can see the sequence. I will watch it.

O filme é divertido e empolgante, me prendeu dês de o início até o final com cenas engraçadas e dramáticas apesar de saber o que ia acontecer e quem seria o vilão real da história ainda assim o filme consegue ser muito empolgante porque não é o que se conta em uma história e sim como se conta uma história, ele também brinca com aquele estilo de filmes de assaltos em que mostra como o plano foi executado depois da cena de execução para o telespectador entender o que aconteceu, não é só mais um filme genérico ele nem sequer se importa em passar algum tipo de "mensagem" para o público que ta assistindo ele apenas se importa em contar uma história sem lição de moral ou fazer com que alguém aprenda alguma coisa com o que assistiu é apenas uma história para entreter e é isso que ta faltando no cinema e na TV hoje em dia, todo filme quer ter algum tipo de "lição de moral" e não se importa apenas em contar uma história para o entretenimento, esse filme merece uma continuação digna pois vale cada segundo assistindo ele.

It won't have the pedigree and notoriety of many other animated films and maybe it doesn't land all of its jokes, but I'm all for films like this that know where their focus is and stick to it, rather than seeking a grandiosity they don't have and won't achieve. Nice surprise.

as one who loved the book series, i can proudly say that this movie has nearly all the charm of said books. although i already knew most of the plot points, they did rework the story to fit more in a movie, so i didn't know everything, they altered the twist a bit, and changed most of Foxington's character, mostly for the better though. One of the rare kids' movies in which the hetero romance characters actually have chemistry and aren't forced together. If they make a sequel (i hope they do) i would be really excited how they would adapt the story of the book sequels; they get up to some crazy stuff (dinosaurs, aliens, ect)

Hey, would you look like that! This movie was pretty good. I say that as I barely remember anything from it, like the movie was something that went through my brain and then just left, but I did like this movie. I like the animation, I like the characters, they all felt thought out and were interesting to see interact. I think my main issue is the plot was a little twisted, and like MrDeven said, a little predictable. But damn was this a solid movie.

Enjoyed the animation and the premise, good performances all around and a nice tidy story.

The story does nothing groundbreaking, but I was nonetheless deeply drawn into the characters’ journey, or at least Mr Wolf’s: trying to break away from the villainous role he’d formerly embraced because doing good feels good. Also, it’s the first movie I’ve seen where this animation style didn’t annoy me.

This had really fluid and action packed animation. Some of the jokes fell flat and the humor was a bit off but there were still some good hits. The voice acting top notch and the voices really fit the characters themselves. The story is your over the top heist movie which had all of the tropes from every heist movie you have ever seen (it felt like they were paying an homage to the old movies). Overall a pretty fun movie to watch and enjoy.

Easily one of the bigger surprises of the year for me, DreamWorks Animation's heist comedy "The Bad Guys" contains some of the best-looking and most expressive animation you'll see this side of "Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse," and some of the finest set pieces since that film too. The whole "misunderstood bad guy(s)" trope is certainly not new ground within the realm of animated film (see "Wreck-It Ralph," the "Despicable Me" franchise or even DreamWorks' own "Shrek" quadrilogy for reference), so it's not as if this had a particularly easy task ahead of it in the narrative department (for me, at least). Thankfully, this unique take on the admittedly familiar thematic material, coupled with some disarmingly funny comedic bits littered throughout, was enough to push things into the realm of greatness. I dug the voice cast in this as well and I normally vie against the idea of casting name talent in favor of proper voice actors. Really, though, I think the cast in question suited the overall tone and concept at hand. I really had a great time watching this. A rare, shining example of a well-animated family comedy suited perfectly for both children and adults.
