I really like this film for some reasons but I don't even know where to start with this. Derailed is one of those movies that people find the story so predictable and ludicrous, the book I think is much better for people cause for this movie has some twists and turns. Clive Owen is a good actor, Jennifer Aniston is good and Vincent Cassel is a great actor and he's good in it. He plays a good villian and on top of that the scene where he **** Jennifer Aniston's character I just thought it was sex cause I can hear him say ''Hey Chuck, **** her like that.'' Good God! What's wrong with people back then? It has many plot holes which I don't understand however I can't even find the plot holes in any movies that I've watched but please give me a break. Derailed is just a good thrilling film with plot twists and a twist ending, I won't spoil it for you. I can watch it over and over if I had the chance.

Owen is all right as the harried husband whose relationship at home has turned frosty, but the essential heat between him and Aniston is missing. The actress succeeds in shedding her "Friends" persona, but there's something missing here, especially as things get knottier.

Riddled with holes and undeveloped characters, and marred by lurching rhythms that may reflect some triage editing, so it's hard to see what Mr. Hafstrom brings to this film other than a murky palette.

Largely underrated and a typically top-nothc psychological thriller. Derailed is filled with countless twists and emotional performances from Clive Owen and Jennifer Aniston.

Quite interesting...much better than what I thought! Not great, but it is not a mediocre film either. My favourite actor there: Vincent Cassel! He is just magnificent! Honestly, I don't understand why the bad reviews. It is a bit disappointing for this is not a bad film at all. It is definitely a different film, but it never bores. Intense, and engaging. Give it ago, I do recommend it, and so far, when I have done and people did it, they came and told me they were greatly surprised.
