There's no defense for movies like these, but neither do they warrant apology; they're irresistibly watchable, like car wrecks.

The plot can be really tough to follow, in part because Banderas' accent, rarely a problem in recent years, is surprisingly hard to understand at crucial moments, and partly because it's tough to keep track of just who's working for whom...and why...and even where.

I rate this movie 10/10! Recently, my great grandfather was dying in the hospital and once i showed him this movie, he wasn't going to die and was really happy to be still alive. Without this movie, my great grandfather would be gone.

Ballistic: Ecks vs. Sever isn't great, but it's far from the "worst movie ever made." The fact that it stars Lucy Liu as a kick-ass assassin who, in one early sequence, escapes a squad of some 50 or so heavily-armed attackers with nothing but a couple of fight batons and the weapons that they’ve managed to drop along the way earns it a B+. Sure, the third act is just a bunch of loud explosions, but Antonio Banderas is all scruffy and cute, and Gregg Henry plays a great smarmy bad guy, as usual. The criticism of Liu's acting is also way off base: she's playing an emotionless killer -- so guess what, there's not a lot to play. And actually, there are a couple of nice beats where she does reveal some vulnerability. But obviously, Kaos is not exactly an actor's director, and the script does her no favors. It's just your basic over-the-top shoot-'em-up thriller. Enjoy the nicely choreographed fight sequences and car chases, along with the always lovely Lucy Liu in bad-ass mode and call it a day.

I don't even care that there's no plot in this Antonio Banderas-Lucy Liu faceoff. It's still terrible!

To pay for all the explosions and stunt work, the filmmakers must have decided to skimp on the screenplay. The rule of thumb is that one page of script equals one minute of movie, but there is so little dialogue in Ballistic that it could have been written on a matchbook.

Remote, non-involving and finally incomprehensible.

This movie pulls out so many bad-action-movie cliches, you wonder if this is a how-not-to primer.

Don't listen to the haters! This movie kicks ass! It's a sleek action thriller with little CGI, great stunts, chases, martial arts and gun fights! The photography is sleek and the Soundtrack slays too. The cast overall is great and looks great on camera. Lucy Liu and her stunt double are impressive. Yes it's goofy, over the top and silly but so are the super hero movies that are so praised and successful while being CGI messy turds.

Oh boy. I don't know what to tell you about this movie: Corny and unbelievable gun fights, martial arts scenes, and obscene dialogue. Pros: Lucy Liu

If you are a fan of driving scenes, or if you enjoy long intolerable pauses where nothing is said, then you may want this movie.

I love Martial arts and I love action movies. John wick was one of the best action moves of recent years along with the Raid 1 and 2. This film is an insult to those ****'s really, really, really, really bad! Been over 10 years since I have seen this film and even now all I can rember is how much I hated this film. Rating: Garbage
