Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered features a faithfully remastered take on three classic Tomb Raider games, with improved controls, graphics, and quality-of-life features, all of which can be disabled, creating the perfect package for faithful fans wanting a modern update on a nostalgic title, or die-hard fans who want to experience the games as they originally were.

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered continues the high quality treatment that Aspyr have previously set with Tomb Raider I-III Remstered. Despite some heavy visual overhauls and some nice additional inclusions, the truth of the matter is that these games are just not as strong as the original trilogy. Still, regardless of how you feel, it's hard to deny that Aspyr have done good work here, and these are easily the easiest and most accessible way to play some games that many ardent fans would call underappreciated or misunderstood. Just don't come out expecting them to match the heights of the original trilogy.

With this new trilogy, the entire Tomb Raider saga is now fully playable in one complete collection. However, the janky camera and clunky controls still take away from the experience a bit.

Without that sense of nostalgia, you’ll be left with a trio of games that weren’t all that good first time around, and it’s hard to imagine you’ll find them very worthwhile.

The Tomb Raider 4-6 Remastered collection is the easiest way to play these games, even if only one is worth playing. I’m still not sure retrofitting Chronicles and Angel of Darkness into what feels like a tight, connected quadrilogy makes sense, but Aspyr has made experiencing The Last Revelation on modern hardware so much more intuitive, while also preserving the very dominoes that led to Core Design losing the keys to the kingdom. This is Tomb Raider’s legacy, warts and all.

Tomb Raider IV-VI Remastered takes a few steps forward and a few steps backward from the previous Remastered collection. The games are a little more open, so you won't get many camera issues, but the games still haven't been retuned to handle the mechanics of the modern controls. The frame rate issue when switching between graphical modes has been fixed, and there are a few new mechanics. Some previously cut content makes the games feel like there has been some evolution. The problem is that the games don't feel as good as the trio of titles that came before it. From a preservationist perspective, it's fine to have these titles in a more accessible form. If you have some nostalgia related to these titles, then you might get a kick out of replaying them with a modern lens. Those who are discovering these games for the first time will wonder what the fuss was all about.

Recomiendo vivir esta **** juegazos de los que te atrapan y te hacen pensar en sus puzzles. Una maravilla que estoy seguro llegará al 100% en futuros parches.

If this means we can get a new Tomb Raider that is back to its root and made for the true fans then I'm all for it! 10/10

Its pretty straight foward you get the bad controls the good game and the next mid and mid and bad game so yeah :/ also was a little fun

I've played a bit of all three games already. But have settled on completing AOD first. Its runs so much smoother that the old PS2 days, and the updated AOD Lara model is so beautiful. And the modern control are so much better than how clunky it was in 2003. Lara now has a bit of speed to her. You can also alter the button layout so really customisable to what is best for you. The graphical upgrades to the last revelation really make Egypt shine. Oh and the new fire effects...Amazing!

An exceptionally great remaster that restores the darkness trilogy. Loved it to death. I'd reccommend you check it out yourself
