It's okay. I liked it, though it can get a little repetitive and mildly confusing.

I didn't understand the tutorial and got bored after fifteen minutes. The Falconeer reminds me of 1990s shareware, and is similarly forgettable.

WTF is this **** ? This game isn't finished, it can't be. This is a "watch a bird fly" simulator. The tutorial barely explains what you are supposed to do, and it is up to you to figure out what buttons to use as some of this isn't explained. But then you get to chapter 1 and it becomes even more vague. The first 'Mission' makes you fly back and forth with little context, as if looking at these Unity graphics is impressive... it isn't. Then there's the "aerial combat", lets see what MondoXbox had to say: "The Falconeer delivers a solid and gratifying aerial combat experience withing an intriguing and mysterious world". WHAT DRUGS WERE THEY ON?? This **** feels barebones, unfinished and it is aggravating, not gratifying. Mysterious world? It's mostly ugly looking water and then some "cities". Terrible game in my opinion. What a waste of my time. 3/10.

This game is soo badly made. Even though it's made by one person does not justify bad missions, terrible gameplay mechanics. And an endless booring grind of the same thing over and over again. Even the developer knew this game was soo repetetive that he even made you skip almost everything within the game. even flying too the missions and returning. the worst part of the entire games are some missions where you have too listen too the dialogue, and if you miss it. there is no way you can know what you are supose too do. soo many times i have had too restart the mission because you simply cannot pull up a menu. doing something wrong is possible soo you simply cannot finish the missions. this happen too me more times then i would have liked. i wanted too play this game too the end for the achievements but this is soo terrible that its making me frustrated too play it! the game lacks in soo many places that my overall experience is soo terrible that i cannot say that its good in any way

First off, I think all of my critiques could be fixed by future updates, because they really are fixable. This is a game with some really good ideas. So let’s start with the good. First, it’s fun to fly your falcon (even if the little circles that your bird does when you leave it alone always put you off ****, right, good paragraph, whoops). The game is set on a good premise. The art direction looks great, I loved the whales, and there’s a great general ambience. Now, the rest: You are a glass cannon. On Normal difficulty, I found I had to grind boring side quests just to make progression—but even then, I cleared the quest I was on and got stuck AGAIN on the very next one. I turned the difficulty down to Easy (and I still died a few times, which is probably not how it should be). The quest system was strange, and the UI never clicked with me. Having to cycle through NPCs at perches to receive quests was odd, and it was inconvenient not being able to see which NPC was at which perch without being having to actually go there. And even after I did figure out the system, the side quests were very dull, but also the only way to grind money or XP. If you’re playing even on Normal difficulty, you’ll have to grind, because your falcons don’t have much HP and the enemies’ aim is fabulous. You’ll die even as you are frantically trying your best to survive, running away, dodging constantly. The story was entertaining until I got pinched by the gameplay, and after that point, the story wasn’t good enough to revive the game for me. I finished it, but just to say I didn’t quit. I’ll say it again: All of these things could be fixed by a few redesigns. If there are other positive reviews after the date of this negative one, the game might be worth a shot.

De temps en temps, il arrive qu’un étron indé soit développé uniquement par le même branque, lequel s’est pris (évidemment) pour un cador ! alors que c’est un ancien moddeur de pacotille mais fier de son étron, il parade comme un paon et le montre à tout le monde… et certains s’extasient poliment devant la « création » du branquignol, trop polis pour être honnêtes… Mais un guignol qui chie une merde, c’est juste un guignol qui vient de chier, certes tout seul comme un grand, mais ça reste une merde quand même, bordel de merde ! or, dans le cas qui nous o-cul-ppe, le Fauconnier est un faux jeu qui n’a rien d’un vrai jeu puisqu’il est injouable ! La minicarte est fixe par exemple, l’interface est entièrement à revoir, y compris jusqu’aux menus du jeu eux-mêmes (c’est dire l’étendue des dégâts) et la maniabilité n’est pas maniable. L’imprécision est stupéfiante d’imprécision et la tronche du jeu est celle d’un étron indé en 256 couleurs… en 4K : un étron 4K qui ne fait même pas un bon économiseur d’écran ! Les voix françaises (on se demande pourquoi on a doublé ce truc-là) sont ridicules et la direction artistique n’a rien d’artistique ; en fait, on dirait un jeu pour smartphone qu’on a sorti sur consoles (on se demande bien pourquoi !). Bref, cet étron indé pue la merde !

entretenido, buen rendimiento y mucha acción en un juego que fue una grata sorpresa.

Jeu très intéressant. Il est reposant grâce à ses musiques, les combats sont sympas. Les paysages très jolis.

Un jeu vraiment agréable et avec une DA que j'apprécie vraiment. !on retrouve, pour les nostalgique, un petit coté Panzer dragoon. Le gameplay et bien travailler et cette sensation de voler est vraiment bien rendu. L'histoire est vraiment bonne et offre un peu d'originalité.

No esperaba mucho y aun y así me siento decepcionado, no tanto por el juego... Esperaba más de la nueva generación por parte de XBOX... Y esto es lo que tenemos? Decepción...

I grew up loving airplane shooters like Life **** Star Fox later. The game was made by one guy, although it doesn't grant a curve, he deserves some props. The game is great for what our is dogfighting on a falcon at next gen framerates. The art style is beautiful, and I think he could make make a 10/10 with a crew and time. They really should find out if people bought the game before they allow reviews, too many goofy Sony fans leaving bad reviews.

The Flaconeer My kind of wing fighting The Falconeer is a 3rd person flight combat game that starts by you choosing a character and hearing the stories of that character in each of this games different chapters.. Each chapter telling a story of each different island… a really cool concept... and in each of those chapters you do missions, gaining cash for upgrades, and by the way youre riding a huge falcon with a gun attached to it… taking down other falcons, and pirates, flying through this absolutely gorgeous and breath taking ocean... however... the falconer is so repetitive that it stops being fun after maybe one hour… there just sadly isn’t much going on here.. each chapter takes place in the same open world area, and you’ll basically be doing the same thing, fly to this checkpoint, shoot all the bad guys, go to the next point, do the same thing, or go grab this and protect it.. Rinse and repeat, and it just gets so boring... ontop of that, controlling this falcon isn’t much fun either... It can be frustrating at times trying to battle in the skies and you and your enemies are all just flying in a frustrating circle trying to get one another... The flaconeer is a beautiful game, it really is... but after the charm of flying around and seeing this beauty wears off, it becomes a bit of a boring grind where nothing cool ever happens… I give the Falconeer a 5.5/10

Para um jogo indie este é ótimo, bom mundo aberto, gráficos e mecânica. Opção de 120 fps. Poneis, vão jogar seus "exclusivinhos" parem de hatear qualquer jogo que não lançou no console amado de vocês!

Gorgeous and satisfying, it makes for a great addition to the "ride a giant animal" genre. Good for Panzer Dragoon fans

Great value of bought at a discount is an individual title not my usual game but holds my interest so far

Just want to say that people are definitely review bombing this game. My review is coming from a PS5, Xbox Series X, and Nintendo Switch owner. So I’m unbiased. Anyways I went into this game not expecting much because it’s made by 1 person and it’s $30. I was surprised to find the gameplay to be fun but could use a few tweaks. Story is alright but not the best. I see lots of potential with this game however. I like the concept and idea of big birds fighting one another in fighter jet like combat. Overall buy if you are a fan of games that are flight combat. If you are unsure $30 is pretty good for this game. I’d wait if you are not totally convinced however. Maybe a sale that makes it $20-$25 is a good price.

Runs really smooth on my XBX. I had fun playing it, very nice air combat, make me feel good flying around.

D'un ennui profond, ce jeu n'a rien de next gen, gameplay et progression sans intérêt.

So boring so ugly, bad gameplay terrible frame rate terrible graphics. **** game. Nothing worth your money.

For all players who want to by this game, just avoid it. Its just a waste of time and money, this game does'nt deserve to exist. If you want true next gen games just wait for another game because this one is a piece of... So just Keep your money for another one betterave game.

If this is the full power of the series x then uhm ouch 120 frames are okay but the game looks like my iPhone 4 can run. I played till almost the end I can’t play anymore the game is a copy and paste of ps3 exclusive Lair and is just a very bad game

fun game air combat is smooth and 120fps makes flying a real joy 4k 60fps is really good setting for the game

Really a great game. The story structure is ... unusual. But I really appreciate the attempt that they have made to do something different, see a story from multiple angles. I think if the developer continued to develop the game – and I hope sales are good enough that they can be – in a year or two this game will be incredible.

The game was fun, entertaining and stunningly gorgeous. The 120 frames per second mad shooting and made aiming with great ease easy. The world itself was beautiful and made me want to replay every mission just to see the gorgeous world and graphics.

Looks like a mobile games except the controls are somehow even worse.. The level layout is just stupid, you can basically skip the entire game.. Which I would recommend. The faces and how they are animated is incredibly of putting , look just bad.

This game is a masterpiece. On my series x, shooting with that 120 fps was amazing and that the game is endles fun.

The game is good and beautiful in both modes . But if you want to play it . Play in 120 mode beautiful and fast
