Well it's alright, it feels like it's gonna have such a great plot, but it's actually a pretty lame plot. The game also doesn't look very great and the gameplay is nothing to crazy, just kinda mid.

I didn't enjoy throwing the rocks or food or whatever at the pokemon that were frenzied and the "boss" fights weren't fun but I did enjoy the atmosphere it did really look like the pokemon were in a natural environment and the world did seem big the catching system is awesome though I hope this is how all pokemon games will be.

In breve (dopo per esteso) PRO
- Finalmente un cambio formula della serie
- Open map interessante
- Mappe artisticamente molto poco ispirate
- Level Design poso stimolante

Entertaining at first, with a refreshing approach to exploration and catching Pokémon in the wild. However, the more you play, the more unfinished the world feels. Areas are mostly empty, Pokémon seem randomly scattered, clan villages are just a few tents, NPCs are heavily reused (even identical ones in the same house), and there are barely any recurring enemies besides the same three bandits. It feels like a great concept released before its world was fully realized.

It's fine, the story is decent enough but the overall gameplay arc just couldn't grab me.

a really good twist on pokemon with very fun combat and plot while staying true to the roots of pokemon and its timeless combat system while adding a new layer that gives the game a unique attribute

Pokemon Legends Arceus is easily the best Pokemon game on the Nintendo Switch, which is both impressive and kind of depressing. Instead of feeling like a traditional Pokemon game, it often feels closer to a Zelda style adventure, with a bigger focus on exploration, missions, and interacting with the world itself. Hisui is a fantastic setting. Sinnoh was already one of the most beautiful and interesting regions in the series, so seeing its ancient version was a great idea. Exploring the different areas, discovering new Pokemon, and completing requests made the world feel more alive than anything in the mainline games. At the same time, some of the traditional Pokemon elements take a backseat. The story isn't particularly memorable, the graphics can be rough, and the gameplay loop can become repetitive after a while. Despite that, the sense of exploration carries the entire experience. The funniest part is that the best Pokemon game on Switch doesn't even feel like a proper mainline Pokemon game. It succeeds by doing things that the series usually doesn't do, and that's probably why it stands out so much.

Consigliatissimo!

Arguably the best modern era Pokémon game that isn't a remake. Its a shame it still lacks in some areas.

I love Pokémon. When this game out I was on a multi year Pokémon hiatus. I remember thinking it was stupid because it was different. But now I am older and wiser. I played Red when it came out in the US in 98 and I’ve played every single one of the games since (not including Z-A or Pokopia yet). I just started Arceus. I like that it’s different. The menus are nice, the graphics are nice, the music is nice, the dialogue is nice, and the new take on the classic style is nice too. I’m pretty sure I’m gonna really like this game.

The soundtrack is almost nonexistent, the game is practically silent. The characters' mouth movements without voice acting are disappointing, giving an even stronger impression of playing in mute mode. According to the Pokédex, there's a Turtwig on the first map, but I didn't see it; I don't know where it is. I don't like having to Google to find game information. The large map with exploration is quite interesting, but the overall finish still leaves something to be desired; the graphics are weak. The battle method goes from real-time interaction to turn-based combat where the Pokémon stand still looking at each other waiting to attack, and at some point my opponent attacked me three times in a row (?) and you have to decide whether it's turn-based combat or not. I really don't understand how the game has such a high score; I found it quite weak.

I have played many Pokémon games across Game Boy Color, Game Boy Advance, Nintendo DS, and Switch. After more than 12 hours with this game, I dropped it on the final map for the following reasons:
- The open world feels empty, the graphics are poor, and there is very little to interact with.
- Side missions are repetitive and lack variety.
- Main missions consist entirely of going from point A to point B, talking to NPCs, battling, then repeating the same loop.
- Puzzles are extremely dull and uninspired.
- Animations are severely lacking — cutscenes sometimes fade to black and rely on audio alone instead of showing anything on screen.
- Button layout is highly unintuitive. Why is the map buried behind the mission screen? Why does throwing a Poké Ball in combat require switching to the bag and pressing R2? Why do you switch mounts using left/right buttons? Why can't you throw a Poké Ball or release a Pokémon while mounted? Why is there no multi-select when releasing Pokémon — you have to do it one by one manually.
- Bug: when transitioning from water to land while mounted, the mount freezes and cannot move — you have to unmount and remount to fix it.
- Wild Pokémon AI is terrible. Why do they detect you even when you are standing behind a rock in close proximity?
- The story is poor, unoriginal, and often illogical. Summary: Yes, this is Game Freak's first attempt at an open world game — but they failed to execute it properly on almost every front. It feels like a disjointed mess where nothing is done well. I have lost faith in the Legends sub-series. While Sword & Shield was not a great game either, at least it was not this frustrating to play.

I liked the game, but it’s a real shame that it forces players to complete the entire Pokédex if they want to achieve 100% completion.

I just love this game. It isn't a BOTW or a TOTK but it's the goat game for NS. That's something you won't regret playing, the graphics is not that much but the fun is way better than and other Pokémon game on switch. A MUST try game.

The best Pokémon game on the Switch. Hisui might be my favorite region so far. A great dex and fascinating world and story are bogged down by the tedious chore of completing the Pokedex.

Pokemon Legends:Arceus is by far my favourite Pokemon experience on the Switch holding (not including) Pokopia. From the immersive catching mechanics, to expansive wild zones this game has a lot to offer! I love the premise of this Pokemon game being set back in time in the Hisui region. It adds a further layer of complexity and mystery. Playing this game was a masterclass and I definitely would play again! Only downside in my eyes is the long introduction/tutorial to the game at the beginning.

I was really looking forward to playing Pokemon Legends Arceus on my Nintendo Switch. This game is developed by Game Freak and is an action RPG that takes the series in a new direction. The story takes place in the Hisui region, which is an ancient version of Sinnoh. In this world, humans and Pokemon are still learning how to live together peacefully. Unlike traditional Pokemon games, this one does not include the gym system as usual. Instead, it focuses more on exploration and research. As someone who really enjoys Pokemon games, I was very excited to try something new. When I first started playing, I immediately felt that the game was fresh and innovative. It felt like a modern version of Pokémon compared to the older titles. The gameplay and mechanics are one of the strongest parts of the game. Most of the time, you will be exploring large open areas, catching Pokemon, and completing research tasks to fill out your Pokedex. You can interact with Pokemon in real time, which makes the experience feel more immersive and realistic. For example, you can sneak up on Pokemon, dodge their attacks, and throw Poke Balls directly at them. Crafting items like Poke Balls also adds an extra layer of fun to the gameplay. However, some tasks can become repetitive, especially when you need to complete the same actions many times. The controls are generally smooth and responsive, although aiming can sometimes feel a bit difficult. The battles can also be challenging at times, but they are not too hard, and winning feels very rewarding. In terms of graphics and art style, the game has both strengths and weaknesses. The environments are large and open, encouraging players to explore. However, the graphics can sometimes look rough, with low quality textures or objects appearing suddenly in the distance. Despite these issues, the overall art style is still appealing and fits well with the historical setting of the game. The design of the world and the Pokemon helps create a strong sense of immersion. The music and sound design are also well done. The sound effects, such as wind and Pokemon cries, make the world feel alive. The background music is calm and relaxing, which suits the exploration aspect of the game. Although the music is not very memorable, it still fits nicely with the overall atmosphere. There are no voice actors in the game, but this does not take away from the experience. Finally, the game’s performance is not perfect. There can be frame drops and occasional glitches, especially in larger areas. While these technical issues can be frustrating, they do not ruin the overall experience. The game still runs smoothly most of the time and has reasonable loading times. Despite its flaws, Pokemon Legends Arceus is a very fun and engaging game. Its new ideas and unique gameplay make it a refreshing addition to the Pokemon series.

This is the direction Pokemon needs to go. Event though Arceus is a bit small and limited with only one city, it’s a fresh take that I’ve been waiting for a long time. Had a wonderful time and couldn’t put it down until I finished it.

The game looks enticing but disappoints. It’s too simple and repetitive. The stuff you do and encounters you have feel meaningless due to lack of impact. When you catch your first couple Pokemon it feels fresh and new. But that feeling quickly fades as there is a lack of relationship with the Pokemon you catch. All Pokemon always share exp, so don’t have to focus on training. Catching isn’t difficult. You are just a slave to the linear story which also disappoints. This is an expensive game from a big rich company, and there isn’t even voice acting. At first this game looks interesting and fun, but play it for a couple hours and it really isn’t.

A reinvention of what mainline Pokemon games could be that was very successful in what it set out to achieve. From the story, characters and Pokemon, this game was what Pokemon needed. Jubilife Village also shows that Game Freak can still make incredible towns/cities, which had been their biggest problem in the previous mainline game (Sword and Shield).

Was so painful, i couldnt finish it. After years of waiting an yearning for a good pokemon game i gave this one a chance, but was utterly disappointed. Yes the gameplay on its own is actually a fun new spin on the franchise but everything else drained any last speck of motivation to continue playing. The first region looks okayish, after beeing dissappointed with the most unoriginal village (just houses in rows on a flat field) i thought i could actually like this game, but it got increasingly worse...
The graphics shouldnt define a game, but some of those ugly barren regions with horrendous repeated textures literally hurt my eyes sometimes und took all the enjoyment out of whatever fun the gameplay has to offer. The leveldesign feels constantly like youre somewehre you shouldn't have acess to and someone left some debug buildings (or rather just shapes) there and forgot to clean it up or finish it. At the later regions the environment is reduced to ugly rock texture on a height map and one spot with cubes stuck together. I kid you not, i didnt even recognize the "palace" or whatever its supposed to be as a building. And then the "fun" is grinded to a halt constantly with endless braindead dialog. I really enjoy story in games even silly ones, but this? i just gave up on reading and still was miserable clicking through it while the characters stand around weirdly glitching from one stupid expression to the next. I really tried to give the game a chance and forced myself to finish the main objective (as i thought) but when the game tosses in a very forced plot twist to stretch the story, i hit my breaking point and didnt touch it again. To be honest if the game ended after the first region, it might have been a very short but good experience.

A great idea, but terribly executed. The world is empty and ugly; the Pokémon are simply thrown in. It doesn't feel like a Pokémon Snap game where the Pokémon live in their natural habitats, but rather like it was carelessly added. The tasks are fun at first, but after a few hours, it becomes mindless grinds, repeating the same actions over and over again. The only thing that occasionally pulls you out of this rut are the boss battles, which are nicely done. The music is among the worst in all Pokémon games, unfortunately, with a few exceptions. The game is a huge disappointment and is aimed at people with low expectations who enjoy completing the same monotonous tasks repeatedly.

Die Fisch-Pokemon "fliegen" einfach darauf, was mega blöd aussieht.- Einige nervige Grind Nebenquests

As a decades long Pokemon fan, I REALLY tried to love this game, but it's just SO bad. The entire game feels incredibly cheap. The graphics are gross, the zones are empty, everything feels copy & pasted, there's only one town, there are no trainers, there's no gyms, there's no Elite Four. I guess if anything, the new Pokemon catching mechanic is pretty of fun and fresh, but in order to do so you need to grind through hours upon hours of some of the worst written dialogue I have ever read in my life. There's no voice acting, there's no character animations, there's no soul, life or passion! ... and despite this they put in SO MUCH dialogue that you CAN'T skip. You will spend 75% of the game mashing the A - button and praying that the cutscene is almost over. It actually feels like torture. I quickly got in the habit of button mashing through every cutscene while watching videos on my phone... that's not good. The fact that anyone enjoys this game absolutely baffles me...

This game is what a pokemon game should be these days, while yes the graphics are horrible and older switch games look a lot better, gameplay wise is where the other pokemon games such as za and scarlet and violet should look up to it's fun pushes towards exploration a lot more than a game like za because of the Pokedex missions and have fire regional variants and a really good and original story which ties really greatly as a starting point for the poketimeline

Best Pokémon game to date. Almost completely flawless. The animations were glitchy sometimes from a distance and there aren’t that many trainer challenges like in past titles (gyms, trainer battles etc)
But wow what an experience! Even if you don’t like Pokémon. Arceus is a must play. Buy this game

I genuinely don't know what to write about this so I'll just keep it short and simple. It's a really fun game. I like the new style but I would not want it to be the style for the main games. It's also funny how this was being mad at the same time as Scarlet and Violet and yet this is clearly the better game.

I entered Arceus a bit biased. This was after I ragequit Tears of the Kingdom using the exact same map as Breath of the Wild. I pick up Arceus - Wow, Nintendo is capable of creating new maps. :p Beat the game, got all Pokemon. Was fun stuff. A nice adventure. The gameplay is a massive tease though - What you really want, is Arceus's Engine, on PC with max modern graphics, and the code of all 1000+ Pokemon. Mmm Mmm. But anyway, dreamers dream.

This was one of the better Pokemon games we've had in awhile but its pretty subpar even for switch standards. The gameplay starts off pretty fun but by the 20 hour mark the gameplay loop starts to become stale and the lack of battles and the barren world makes this game score alot lower on my **** for 20 hours but after that the enjoyability goes down.
