New Super Mario Bros. U Deluxe4
Jul 28, 2026
It's Mario and I love Mario, but this game lacks the soul and energy of other Mario games. The levels are uninspired and the music gets old quick. Also they mapped the spin button to the jump button and it just about ruins the gameplay. Mario games are known for their tight and fluid controls, so I really don't know what happened here... Go pick up Super Mario Maker 2, they fixed the controls and you'll have thousands of levels to pick from that absolutely blow these levels into oblivion.

Mina the Hollower10

At first, this game will drive you crazy… but if you can get past the learning curve and grasp the game’s burrowing mechanic and 4 way directional attacking, you will understand why I believe this is the best indie game of all time (topping Hollow Knight)! The world is simply fun to exist in, the pixel art is the best I've ever seen and the music is incredible. Gameplay, progression and exploration is fun and addicting. The game is CONSTANTLY throwing new surprises, ideas and mechanics at you from every direction. You just have to get past that initial learning curve! I'm going to stop raving about this game now because I want to get back to playing it.

Star Fox8

If you are looking for a 1 for 1 Starfox 64 remake, you just hit the jackpot, its phenomenal. It's fun, controls like butter, offers a good challenge and is probably the best looking game on Switch 2 as of right now. However, I'm a bit disappointed that we didn't get ANY new content. If we would've gotten 1 or 2 new levels, I would've rated this a 9 or 10... cmon Nintendo!

If I had to choose between this and Marion Odyssey… I’d pick this 7 days a week. I feel like that’s all I need to say.

Your everyday modern 7/10 game action/cinema game. It’s a bland and slower Uncharted clone. Graphics are great but the gameplay is so bland and boring. The slow movement brings it down to a 5/10 for me.

The gameplay is nonexistent , the writing is cringe, the characters are unlikable, the art style is unique but bad, the frame rate gives me a headache… but the soundtrack is good! The fact that this game is get 10/10s is extremely suspicious

My Dad ONLY play sports games, NBA 2K, Madden and The Show, he is older, isn't in the gaming loop, he's used to the slop and it doesn't seem to ever bother him, but I guess even this game went too far. All I know is the poor guy played it for 2 days and is already back to play 2K, he even tried to return the open copy back to Best **** that bad and this review is for him.

Pokemon Legends: Arceus2
Feb 13, 2026
As a decades long Pokemon fan, I REALLY tried to love this game, but it's just SO bad. The entire game feels incredibly cheap. The graphics are gross, the zones are empty, everything feels copy & pasted, there's only one town, there are no trainers, there's no gyms, there's no Elite Four. I guess if anything, the new Pokemon catching mechanic is pretty of fun and fresh, but in order to do so you need to grind through hours upon hours of some of the worst written dialogue I have ever read in my life. There's no voice acting, there's no character animations, there's no soul, life or passion! ... and despite this they put in SO MUCH dialogue that you CAN'T skip. You will spend 75% of the game mashing the A - button and praying that the cutscene is almost over. It actually feels like torture. I quickly got in the habit of button mashing through every cutscene while watching videos on my phone... that's not good. The fact that anyone enjoys this game absolutely baffles me...

Pikmin 49
Feb 5, 2026
This is probably the most charming game I have ever played. Using Ice Pikmin to freeze over a pond so you can use your army of Red Pikmin to carry a GameBoy Advance SP back to your ship for resources in order to purchase a fire proof suit for your alien puppy Oatchi... it's just so fun and it feels great to play. By far the best looking game on the Switch graphically. TONS of content including a post game, almost the size of the main story. The only thing holding it back from perfection is the god awful NPCs... for a bunch of characters with nothing to say, they sure do love to interrupt you constantly to say the same thing for the 30th time. It sometimes ruins that feeling of isolation and mystery, the feeling of being on a unknown planet and having to figure everything out on your own. Still a darn near perfect game in my opinion though!

Divinity: Original Sin II10

This game is a masterpiece, plain and simple. The style, the story, the gameplay, the music, the characters, the voice acting, the immersion, it’s all very close to perfection. Every quest, every battle, every area you explore is like a puzzle; One that gives you complete freedom of your characters and their surroundings. See a giant painting hanging on the wall? Drop it on the enemy’s head with telekineses. An entire room full of bad guys? Block the exit with some crates, light the place on fire and teleport out of there! It’s the ultimate RPG sandbox experience…one that rewards you for thinking outside the box. You do begin the game not knowing what the heck is going on, but the more you play, the more pieces all start falling into place in the most satisfying way.
