For reasons such as lackluster writing and frustratingly handholding gameplay, The Apollo Justice trilogy doesn’t quite stack up to other games in the series. With that being said, however, it is still a very enjoyable experience and a must play for Ace Attorney fans.

Hogwarts Legacy is a decently solid game, but underdelivers on the Hogwarts aspect and has repetitive gameplay. It is also bogged down by poor optimization.

Fire Emblem Three Houses is an incredible experience. To the wonderful cast of characters, the gripping story, and the engaging gameplay.

Fire Emblem Warriors Three Hopes is a great "what-if" spinoff from Fire Emblem Three Houses. The characters, for the most part, are as wonderful as ever. It has some of the best gameplay I have experienced from a Warriors game.

The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword is an underrated gem that provides a satisfying adventure and story that more recent titles in the series have failed to deliver.

A big improvement over its predecessor, Assassin's Creed IV is a ton of fun to play and makes adventuring fun.

A decently fun what-if scenario that gives the Champions their deserved much more screen time. In some ways, this is what Breath of the Wild should have been.

Shin Megami Tensei V: Vengeance is a very fun and challenging journey that I would recommend to those that seek a challenge. Some of the best gameplay ever for a turn based JRPG.

While Fire Emblem Engage is a disappointing follow up to its predecessor, Three Houses, the gameplay is fantastic and the cast is wonderfully charming. The main weakness are its bad story and lack of extra features previous iterations had.

There is some fun to be had in Pokémon Legends ZA, but its real time combat mechanic grows old fast as it just feels like button mashing and the game wears out its welcome.

The best Pokémon game on the Switch. Hisui might be my favorite region so far. A great dex and fascinating world and story are bogged down by the tedious chore of completing the Pokedex.

Pokémon Brillant Diamond and Shining Pearl are extremely disappointing remakes in a series that previously had great remakes.

Tears of the Kingdom is basically Breath of The Wild, but slightly worse. It takes the worst elements of BOTW and makes them worse. Most improvements are minor.

The Legend of Zelda: Breath of The Wild has a wonderful open world and engaging concept for a story, but struggles to tell that story in a satisfying way and the player will spend more time doing tedious chores than adventuring.

Pokémon Violet struggles with its open world structure and poor optimization. As such, It falls short of being a competently run game. However, it is still Pokémon at its heart, so there is fun to be had. I recommend it only if you are a serious Pokémon fan. And even then, I recommend getting it used or for sale.
