Rare Pokemon fail to mask the tedium in this fleetingly entertaining aside. [Dec 2012, p.106]
Don't buy unless you have Pokémon Black 2 or White 2, but if you do, it's a great addition to your arsenal.

Rewards are great, mechanics are promising but not developed to their full potential, but the way the game progresses is just awful. Do NOT waste money on this.

it's a simple game and an easy way to get 5th gen box legendary for your Black 2 or White 2 game. The pokemon you catch and transfer over also scale up in level according to how many badges you have in the target game. For example, with 0 badges you get pokemon at level 5. Meaning with a copy of Heart Gold and this game, you can get a level 5 Ho-oh for you to raise! While not the best game out there, it's still a fun little mini game and the amount of "free pokemon" and items you can get from this game makes up for the price.

As a fan of Pokemon since Red & Blue way back when... I find this game to be insulting to me as a fan of Pokemon. Dangling 3 legendary Pokemon behind a boring, content-lacking, point and shoot game is hardly worth three cents let alone three dollars. Prepare to shake 3DS over and over again to build up Play Coins unless you want to wait days to get all the dream orbs necessary to catch Landorous. You should also prepare to replace your "a" button as you'll continue to get the same dialogue over and over again before each "mission". The only positive side to this game is the ability to insert other DS games (Platinum, HG, SS, etc.) to catch additional legendaries complete with their hidden abilities once the main (3 hour?) "campaign" is finished. If you absolutely need the Therin trio, but the game... if not, STAY AWAY!

Pokemon Dream Radar costs a dime, and for that you get a strange interpretation of the Pokemon world. We must admit, it's fresh, it's new. But it won't keep you playing for longer than three hours.

This is game is a bad game. But i am giving it a 6 because it is a way to get pokemon and items for black 2 and white 2. Do not get this game unless you have black 2/white 2.

You already know if you are buying it or not and there are no problems with how the game works; it just feels weird to call it anything other than a mini-game add-on for Pokémon fans. In that regard, it does well.

Nintendo Life
Pokémon Dream Radar is a fun diversion for Pokémon fans that ties in well with the newly released Black and White 2. Providing a fun way to earn otherwise unobtainable or hard to find Pokémon, combined with a very low price point ($2.99 in North America) make it a super effective purchase for those wrapped up in the series.

Not really recommended as a game by itself, since it's pretty limited. However, as an add-on or extra for Pokémon Black & White 2 it is definitely worth considering.

Launched and publicized as a companion app for Black 2 and White 2, Dream Radar doesn't do much to separate itself from this status.

A bit bland and annoying due to time limits and the amount of time you have to wait to even be allowed to complete it. But the only way to get the three forms of Landorus, Thundorus, and Tornodus. Pokemon fanatics only purchase.

Pokemon has officially become a 'money machine'. This is a huge disappointment from an old school pokemon fan. The restrictions in game combined with boring, bland and repetitive game-play makes this one to avoid. This is the sort of thing an iPhone user would pay 99p for.
