E-Day goes back to the beginning in more ways than one to deliver one of the best entries in the series. A technical showcase that also offers a long, fun and exciting campaign. Rivage makes getting lost in A.R.E.S. a pleasure, even when we have no idea what to do next. Its mystery, the beauty of the station, and puzzles that truly force us to stop and think make us want to investigate just one more room. Limited energy might force us to retrace our steps, but finally solving a riddle that had us going in circles for a while makes the effort worthwhile.

EA Sports FC 27 is a game designed by and for those who enjoy Ultimate Team and fast-paced online matches. It is for dribbling enthusiasts and those looking to build a dream team—and to enjoy a mode that is undeniably fun and more accessible to casual players, provided we take a relaxed approach and accept that, should a competitive streak kick in, we will likely have to embrace microtransactions.

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt — Remastered is set to be the RPG of the year for those who have yet to visit the Continent; it may well hold that title even for players who haven't experienced Geralt's adventures in a long time or who missed out on The Witcher 3's expansions when they first launched. Thanks to its graphical enhancements, this new version holds its own against 2026 releases in terms of audiovisual quality. New animations, combat tweaks, skill tree adjustments, and other refinements to gameplay mechanics and overall quality make this the definitive version of the decade's best action-RPG. In our experience, the visual leap provided by path tracing is spectacular; it not only allows the game to look as good as any release from this year but actually surpasses many of them. Furthermore, the fact that this update is free for existing owners—and includes the first two expansions for those who hadn't previously purchased them—makes it incredibly easy to give the game a try. These improvements provide the perfect reason to revisit the Witcher and pave the way for Song of the Past, the new expansion arriving next year.

This sequel takes the foundation that already worked in the first game—a classic-style Metroidvania featuring demanding exploration and platforming—and adds a layer of genuine depth through its dual-realm and dual-form mechanics, which are particularly noticeable during boss battles. It doesn't exactly reinvent the wheel, but it does demonstrate that there are still fresh ideas to be explored within the retro formula; and that, eight years after the original, is an achievement in itself.

It offers greater depth in character building and cooperative synergies than the original Minecraft Dungeons; for fans of the franchise, it provides a first chance to explore the Rift before the new world arrives in Minecraft, all while maintaining a fun, chaotic sense of humor. However, the level and activity design remain rather flat, and the endgame—pending future updates—is quite thin. Nevertheless, we find it an ideal choice for a group of friends looking for their first ARPG or for families seeking a cooperative game to play together.

And that is precisely where the key to this installment lies. There are racing games that manage to hook us even if the specific competition or license they represent doesn't particularly interest us—simply because driving, collecting vehicles, or overcoming challenges appeals to almost any fan of the genre. Here, however, it’s a different story. *NASCAR 26* is designed entirely for NASCAR fans; practically all its strengths hinge on having a genuine fascination with the sport—its cars, its tracks, and that unique style of wheel-to-wheel racing that spans hundreds of kilometers. If that describes you, this is likely one of the most comprehensive and enjoyable titles the franchise has delivered in years; if not, it is unlikely to be the game that turns you into a fan.

In the meantime, time marches on; once we lie down in our coffin, the day comes to an end. The screen then displays a summary (profits, relationships, the season, etc.), and the game saves your progress. There is no option to save at any other time, so if you don't rest, you will lose the progress made during the night. You arrive in the town during spring. The game divides the year into the usual four seasons—each lasting 28 days—featuring distinct weather and festivals. In addition to these celebrations, there are special events that, like birthdays, appear on your calendar. The magical almanac tracks all the collectibles you acquire (spells, crops, recipes, potions, Soul Blobs, fish, etc.). With so many options available, every player will find something that sparks their interest. Eternal life can be incredibly dull—but not in Moonlight Peaks.

Ace Combat doesn’t need to reinvent the wheel to be able to offer a fantastic and thrilling experience. Regardless of whether you are a veteran or just playing the series for the first time, this is a great game that deserves your time.

The Walking Dead: Streets of Survival stands out as one of the best video game adaptations the franchise has seen in quite some time—though that isn't saying much, given the genre's track record with this IP outside of Telltale Games' titles. Its emphasis on RPG and adventure elements over classic beat-'em-up mechanics, combined with well-executed boss fights, makes up for somewhat basic combat and occasional imbalances caused by an overabundance of armed enemies. If you are a fan of both the series and the genre, it is a purchase worth making; if you don't fit both criteria, it is less likely to blow you away.
