I feel like SiN: Reloaded deserved a higher rating, but the sheer amount of severe bugs carried over from the past (along with new ones) is still an issue in this remaster. Still, there's no denying how fun the game is: it features unique and balanced gameplay, tons of secrets, a solid (although no so serious) story, plenty of extras and QoL options, and multiple branching paths that boost its replay value.

Fighting game newcomers and veterans alike will enjoy Granblue Fantasy Versus: Rising - Legendary Edition (which includes all content released to date) and its incredible world. The game features an incredibly large roster, a variety of game modes blending beat 'em up and light RPG elements into the mix, and balanced multiplayer. Easy to learn, hard to master, with outstanding graphics and flawless performance, though it's lock on 30 FPS. It’s a great addition to the fighting game genre in the Switch 2 library.

EA SPORTS FC 27 refines its gameplay, strengthens Career Mode, and delivers plenty of content on Nintendo Switch 2. However, the 30 fps cap and isolated online ecosystem prevent this version from reaching its full potential.

HOT WHEELS: Infinite Rush combines enjoyable arcade racing with exploration, collecting, and plenty of freedom. However, its open world suffers from repetition, frequent loading screens, and technical limitations that hurt the overall pace.

Aggelos 2 is a fantastic sequel crafted by someone who truly captured the essence of the Wonder Boy franchise and created something new and modern, while still honoring its roots. Intuitive, fun, and beautiful, it is a Metroidvania that excels at encouraging exploration and rewarding the player for it, without ever feeling exhausting, repetitive, or hollow.

Clearly inspired by It Takes Two, Orbitals tries to bring the cooperative split-screen formula to an 80s anime setting, which works well in many ways and flaws in others.

K-pop Idol Stories: Road to Debut is the perfect game for anyone who ever wanted to show big companies how a K-pop group should be managed. From recruiting trainees to the debut stage, each step is an interesting and rewarding experience most of the time, and feels like a love letter to K-pop.

Barbarian Saga: The Beastmaster draws inspiration from 90s classics but falls short when it comes to modern touches; featuring repetitive and treacherous level design, it isn't the kind of inspiration one might have hoped for. It suffers from stiff controls, clunky animations, and a confusing story that overuses flowery language in an attempt to appear more mature—only succeeding in making everything more muddled and disjointed.

Isekai Villain has an excellent premise that subverts the isekai genre, but its execution is held back by poor localization and clear plans for monetization. Despite that, it's interesting enough to pick up on sale, especially since its current price of over 100 BRL is hard to justify.

We are looking at one of the best games of this year. Onimusha: Way of the Sword modernizes and innovates the series gameplay without losing its roots, featuring amazing graphics and fluid movements on the Nintendo Switch 2. With excellent direction, just the right amount of challenge, and an overwhelming fun factor, this game is a must-play for fans of the genre or anyone looking for an outstanding action game.
