If you are hankering for a campy, gory old school horror movie that you are in control of, you really can’t get much better than Murder House. It’s a game that doesn’t take itself too seriously and is not afraid to dump down a few buckets of blood every now and then. Dated things like tank controls or limited saves may be frustrating to a player not used to these types of games, but I honestly think this might be one of the better places to try those things out for the first time. The short runtime helps alleviate the stress of the controls and save mechanics, though the unfortunate crashing issues may replace that stress with frustration in the end. Hopefully a patch will be coming down the pipeline soon, but for now Murder House has found a good but technically troubled murder home on the Switch.

Playing through Murder House was an absolute fright fest from start to finish since through out the game I was constantly scared with all the sounds, jumpscares, and the Easter Ripper himself. The way the puzzles are presented are excellent as well and give off the same quality as Resident Evil and Silent Hill and overall this is a good example of what horror games should be.

I bought this thinking it'll be a bad horror but I were board so I got it not expecting much But I were blew away from how nostalgic it some how felt even Though I've never played it before but it were scary and got a good twist at the end

"Murder House is a very compact experience, that tells a short story remarkably well. The pacing is perfect for a game that has only one enemy, and it’s a genuinely unsettling title too. It’s a shame then that the third person camera makes it almost impossible to play from that perspective and the loading times make for a harsh punishment upon death. This game's graphics and general aesthetic just **** rule. Throwing you back to the horror survival games of the 90's mixed with the grungy slasher films of the 70's and 80's, MURDER HOUSE is a god damn terrifying blast in the ass. With a story that ropes you in instantly and constant scares all throughout, this is seriously a game not to be missed by horror fans.
