This game is fun. yes there may only be 16 characters to start off with but it's the first game. I first played the game back when I was 9 years old and the gamecube was already out but I loved the game anyways. Smash 64 only has one composer and he made the music really charming that no other smash game can replicate. It's also cool how this game has board the platforms speaking of game exclusive modes. There isn't too much content in there especially since other smash games have more content so you will mostly play the game to battle against your friends but if you're a kirby fan, you will be happy due to a certain character being the final boss in the single player mode.

This game is the very first Indie game I've played. I wish I played it back in 2004 when I was 11 years old but I played it 5 years later. It felt so nostalgic due to the music and the gameplay is very good. It was one of those times where I felt like I was a kid in elementary school again racing home to watch tv or play that very addicting video game. I like how the story is alittle dark. However some of the sad moments I didn't like so I felt more of the need to finish it. I love how even though the game is a metroidvania, it's more linear than the usual ones. I also like how the level up system works. It rewards you for being good at the game. With the controls, I honestly felt like it could've been a gameboy advance game. The game has gone through many versions and the best new thing about this version is that you can change the music to metal versions.

This game is good with a few hiccups. Like cave story, I like the upgrade system. The game reminds me of contra but with it's own cave story like charm. However this game can get hard, especially in hard mode. There are some funny moments in the game too where you have interactions with your boss. The game may have lives but it's somewhat forgiving where you get to keep your weapons and power ups kind of like a rouge lite. The only problem with the game is sometimes the jumps are hard to make in hard mode and when you shoot your weapon, when you move back, you can't turn around.

This game is great. Better than yoshi's island... YES I SAID IT. I love the level design. The best levels are the cookie one, bowser's castle, the sponge one, the magic carpet one, and one of the snow levels that aren't so mazy. I also like how the yarn creates platforms and you can eat certain parts of yarn as long as it shows a knot. That really built upon the yoshi games. It's also great that the game is two players however that's easier on the wii u. The poochie movies are fun too. The only bad side is that one of the snow levels is too maze like but then again yoshi's island had that one cave level that was really long. Lastly I like how similar it is to yoshi's island while making it better than that game. I think it's the yoshi game fans wanted and needed.

This game was really good. Especially since it was the first console game I've ever played. It took me so long to beat the game like almost 8 years. I started playing the game at 6 years old and beat it at 14. It was just that damn jump that messed me up in world 8-2. However as a game in general, I feel like it has a good challenge but it **** how you have to go back to the beginning unless you know the trick for it. Most of the levels are easy but it gets hard in world 7. It's really cool how you get to skip worlds too. However besides the game being hard, it's a sham that the game uses the same levels but harder which wasn't a thing after until super mario 3d land. Another complaint is that the controls aren't as good as mario games like super mario bros 3, world, and new super mario bros DS.

I love the concept of the game. I even like some of the gameplay. The issue is the game isn't polished. The game can sometimes have hit detection issues but it's a good thing there's an easy mode. However what kills it for me is that after you kill the nun the second time meeting her, things start to get weird. Like there was a part I jumped into and it ended up glitching. There was also a mental hospital level after the nun part even though that was to come later. Lastly the game used to be frustrating when people would run but after easy mode, it's not that bad.

This game is an 8.5. I used to not like the game that much but that was because I mistook it for being a rehash due to the legendary pokemon being awakened. However that was also because I was watching my brother playing diamond. Eventlually I sat down, played it and really enjoyed it. Yes the game was slow *saving alot of data cough cough* but it was great. It had new mechanics like the underground, the story was decent for pokemon, the map app really helped out sniff those roaming legendary pokemon, and it was cool transferring pokemon over from ruby and sapphire. However another thing I don't like about the game is that you have to see all the pokemon to get to the post game but it was a new thing they tried so that's kind of ok. Lastly the music is great and I feel nostalgic about the game even though I first played it at 14 years old. Then again I feel nostalgic for mario and luigi paper jam and I was 23 years old.

Man this game is great. It may be easier than the 3d mario games before it but it's more fun and somewhat challenging rather than frustraiting and unfair *cough cough sunshine* If you want to 100% it then it would be really hard but it gets somewhat challenging towards the end of the game while the earlier levels are just fun with little challenge which may not appeal to some people. It also doesn't have to open ended levels that the previous games have but for me mario was kind of meant to be linear. I also want to say that the levels are inventive. The developers put in their best efforts in the galaxy games in my opinion rather than even games like mario odyssey. However there are a few things I don't like about the game. It has a bad spring power up, it also lets the second player troll the first player and it doesn't help that there's not much to do as player 2. While I thought the final battle was good, I felt like it was a bit of a repeat of the other bowser battles but then again it was like that in 64 as well. Lastly I used to hate the song that plays when you go to roselina's library but now I like it. It's ok to cry.

This game is better than the first game. Some people may say the first game was harder but that's probably because they were younger back then. It took me longer to beat galaxy 2 than 1. Also some people like joshscorture may bring but that there's no space as well as it being easier to get 1ups . However, I recently played galaxy 1 and the 1up are also very easy to get and I do remember there being space in galaxy 2. Lastly there is space in the game and it's the first game to feature that final level if you know what I mean. With that out of the way I want to say that the levels are sometimes better than 1 as well as the levels being more plentiful. Lastly the multiplayer is better too as you couldn't do much with player 2 in galaxy 1. On it's own as a mario game, it's one of the best in the series. Yes it still has the spring power up which is not fun to use but everything else is great. It's got a good final boss, it has yoshi, it has great music, and it has a great cloud power up. It does everything right as a sequal.

This game is pretty good. Super mario 3d world was my very first game on wii u and I got it on christmas of 2013 the same time I got the wii u. I got the game because I loved super mario 3d land and I decided that I really wanted the game. It was love at first site. However that's when OCD issues started to take form and I enjoyed the game way less. I tried my best to think about it like I did when I got it on Christmas but I wouldn't work like some levels I don't like playing due to my OCD striking at the time. However, as a game itself, it was really good but I think if there was a star collecting 3d mario game on the wii u as well.. maybe a super mario sunshine remake, most people would have no issue with it. The levels are somewhat more diverse than it's 3d land counterpart and there are 4 players. It can get really fun and chaotic.

I loved the game for the most part This time my OCD was less of a problem so it wasn't a tarnishing experience. I love how seamless the world is where you can travel anywhere with plessy. Some of the cat shines are actually really challenging and there weren't too many of them. I only wish that the game had an underwater section since it take place on a lake but other than that, the levels are good enough for a small game like this. Oh and bowser jr is in the game and on your team this time. Very nice. Note, I would've put out my thoughts on 3d world but 404 wouldn't let me. I don't know what the issue is but it could be due to writing too much. If you want my thoughts on the game, check out my review on the wii u version.

I love this game and it's one of the best games of all time. It may have a few flaws like it being too short or one particular part like the library book part being too criptic with the rest being pretty easy but other then that it's a great game. Me and my brother got the game when we were 11 years old and my brother beat it with the guides help but for me, I did it without the guide. I beat the game after my brother and it was a good experience and yes the game doesn't too much to innovate but if it aint broke, don't fix it. It borrowed alot from four swords but they really went all out with the engine. The graphics are very good to look at expecially if you're on a giant vine or when you're small. The vine part reminds me of when I was at tahoe and I was looked at the lake from afar when I was skiing. I would say the biggest problem with the game is that it's only 6 dungeons long but there is things to do between them.

This is one of my favorite pokemon games of all time. I love the story. It's even alittle disturbing and sad but that's at the end. I remember getting the game and beating it in a few weeks. I needed my brothers pokemon to beat the final bosses. The game can get hard and while some people may complain about the game being linear, I don't mind because pokemon ruby and sapphire was pretty much just as linear and no one complained. However pokemon white 2 has way more exploration. I also have to say that the post game isn't the best, it's still a better post game than some of the other previous games. One thing I also love is that they unlocked the older pokemon at the post game so that way I can get acquainted with them rather than just use older pokemon. Lastly this game is nostalgic to me because I played more of the game after I beat it during the time I graduated high school. There was ship I went on during that time and then when I started playing the game again, I went on the ship and it was one of the most magical feelings I got. Especially with the music. Who cares about some ice cream pokemon.

This game is great. I love how this game has an easy mode too but I remember getting the game when I was a kid to give it too a friend but I only got to play it alittle bit. However years year, I got the game in 2017 and beat it a couple years later due to losing the game. The game was mostly easy but the final boss was no joke. The puzzles were fun but easy too. There was one time where I didn't know where to go because I didn't know where to upgrade the hammers and there should've been an indication for it. However other then that, the game is flawless and alittle short but then again it was a gba game. As for the story, I really like how funny fawful is. There's a reason he became a force to be reckoned with. The game can also get alittle dark with peach losing her voice. However I can't help but feel alittle bad for bowser because he is just a joke in the game. Lastly I love how the developers put in an extra game mode which completely changes genres. That section relied a bit on luck but it was really fun and I loved how it explored things from the enemies perspective. It was a fun game and it's too bad that alpha dream went bankrupt because the games weren't on switch. I felt like it was good enough on the 3ds.

Love this game. The jump scares get me every time. There's a reason why this game is so popular. I love the atmosphere too. It's dark but friendly in a way too with the animatronics designs and the music. I love the song that happens when Freddy is about to appear so much that I may give the song a listen to before I go to bed. However the scaryness and jump scares of the game isn't all there is to the game. You also need to use stratagy to keep the guys from getting you and the only weapons you have is the security cameras and the doors and you have to use them very wisely. Because of all that, the game is very unique and innovative and it deserves all the phrase it gets. Lastly the game is hard too... Especially on the 4th and 5th nights but once you beat a night, it feels so satisfying/

This game is great and it's also part of my childhood. I first got the game back when I was 10 years old and I got it because link was in it which I found out from a Nintendo power magazine. Me and my twin had to BEG our mom to get the game because it was rated t and we thought it would be as bad as super smash bros melee in which that game should've been rated e 10+ but back to this game. When we got the game, we were beginner fighting game fans and we usually button mashed but then we got better at the game and we also liked more characters. I like characters like raphiel, nightmare, and kelik. Lastly, looking back, we didn't know how innovative the game was but looking at it now, I can really see how it's a masterpiece. It's got 3d movement, it's very cool to fight with swords, the guest characters are cool, and it's also fun to ring out the characters.

This game is kind of good for a remake. It has voices included in the remake, it has more check points in levels, and when you take damage, you just go big again. Don't know why they removed that in the original game when super mario bros 3 had that mechanic in the game. However the graphics don't look as good as in the SNES game, the graphics aren't as good, neither was the music, and there are no new levels in the game. As for the game itself, I first played smw when I was 7 years old back when I was just getting into mario. The graphics were great(not as good or mind blowing as super mario all stars) and it showed me that graphics can go beyond 8 bit on both consoles and handhelds. Before, I just played the gameboy color and NES but when I was at a hotel playing the SNES, I felt like I was in the future! Eventually I saw other kids playing the gameboy advance version a couple years later at a summer camp and I eventually I got it a couple months later. It took me and my brother alittle over 2 years to beat it and it was mazing when I beat bowser. I even had a dream about beating him the day before. What a masterpiece. Nowdays I say the game is alittle easy for a mario game but back then, it was a great challenge. The only thing I wish the game did was have more mystery to the story. Even super mario bros 1 and 3 had some mystory to it.

I say this game can be fun at times. I like the water gimmick but it's not as good as the spin mechanic in the mario galaxy games. While the flood mechanic can be fun, it also is intrusive because sometimes you get confused on how to aim when you aren't in hover mode. I wish they would use the turbo nozzle more. As for the level design, it's a mixed bag. While levels like blonco hills is fun, then there are levels where the game really shows it's problems... especially in it's secret levels. Like the alex kidd remake, the levels are very unpolished. Like you slip off the platforms easily. It also doesn't help that sometimes the camera messes you up too like the area cant have alot of stuff by you because otherwise the things like the walls will block your view. I also hate how hard the game in general is like especially the watermelon level. Other levels are hard too like some of the later secret levels, the sand bird, and the surfing level where you have to jump to get the shine sprite. The game is a mario game for god's sake and I'm not saying that mario games can't have challenge as I grew up with games like the nes mario games and world. The difficulty is nght and day between this and new super mario bros. It's like Nintendo knew they messed up. I wanted the game as a kid but I bet if I got it, the gamecube would've been broken from rage lol. However with that being said, I also like how the game had a good story for a mario game as the last two mario games was litterally just "bowser kidnaps peach and does a few other minor things." This game actually introduces one of my favorite mario characters, bowser jr and sit was funny how he seemed to be similar to shadow from the sonic series with everyone mistaking him for mario but he turned out to be a childish incompetent antagonist. I never beat the game without help on some levels but overall, it's my least favorite mario game but it's decent as a game itself.

This game is great. Better than the first splatoon game. It may not have the wii u controls or the jumping mini game but everything splatoon 1 did splatoon 2 did better. The only flaws I can find with the game is that the game didn't have all the content at launch(still better than the lack of content the previous game had but I really hope that the next splatoon game is fully complete with some dlc like the oct expansion coming later. At least include some chiptunes music when the next game releases), and the voice chat is limited but some voice chat is better than no voice chat. I could also say that with the story mode while it's nice to use multiple weapons unlike the first game, it didn't work out as well as it should've like some of the levels are only well designed for one weapon due to the nature of the story with marie wanting you to try out different weapons so after you beat the game, you can use whatever weapon you want which sounds good but the weapon may not work well with the level. Other than those flaws it's a great game as there are changes that either improves the franchise or makes it unique. The game has different weapons, it has salmon mode, you can change weapons in the lobby, it has different ranked modes, it has a rytham mini game, and the story isn't rehashed as it includes dlc and the first story was just about exploring the underground part of the city while the second story is about marie looking for calie. In conclusion, the game is great and while the voice chat may not be up to par, the game is still really fun unlike fortnite where I feel like I need voice chat to enjoy the game. The story and changes to the game are a welcome edition too and I love how it had more content at launch. People may say it's a rehash of splatoon 1 but I highly disagree.

This game is great. I love its unique take on the shooting games. Especially when you can hide in the ink too as well as shoot others. The graphics are beautiful too. The paint really helps it. I like the weapons in the game too like the regular ink gun, the rollars, the paint brush, the nes zapper gun, and sniper. I also like how charming the characters are due to them all being sea food and their quirky dialoge. It's also good for fans who aren't really fans of shooting games because the campaign has platforming to it as well as shooting, it has cool clothing items and refrances to other games too like NES zapper and the blooper from super mario bros. The trailer for this game was one of the trailers that really made Nintendo win E3 that year as well as raised the standards for nintendo E3's. However there are some flaws with it. For one thing, it has no voice chat. That sort of changed in splatoon 2. I also think that the game lacks content.. especially when splatoon 2 has way more content. Splatoon may of had the mini game you play before a match as well as wii u controls but splatoon 2 works almost as well with the gyro aiming. Splatoon also has a rhythm mini game which is just as good as the jumping one. Lastly the story mode in splatoon 2 is better, it has great DLC, the local multiplayer is better.. balloon battle? Really? and it has salmon mode. To conclude, splatoon was great for it's time but splatoon 2 raised the bar and for the next splatoon game even after 2, I hope that the game launches complete.

this game is great. I had sapphire as a kid but ruby counts too since it was my brother's. I want to say that when I was just turning ten, I got the game for my birthday. I loved it. I remember seeing it in a magazine and I thought "this is great. Now I won't need to deal with gameboy graphics any more." but I didn't like how there wasn't a second region unlike gold and silver. However I never realised that there was at least as much content in ruby and sapphire as gold and silver. I mean gold and silver had more side quests I believe but ruby and sapphire's world was more filled than gold and silver's. I also wished there was a day and night cycle but other than that, the game was a masterful game. Lastly I didn't like the way the devlopers handled the roaming pokemon. At least in gold and silver, there were 3 roaming pokemon and the region was smaller so they were easier to track. For one thing, it really brought more to the story and it set a standard with story telling in the pokemon games. It also brought mini games like the berry game and the contests. I also loved double battles as well. It was even the first pokemon game I beat. However because of it's downfalls, I felt nostalgia for gold and silver but looking back both games were really good.

Especially the first boss theme. I only wish that there were more animal buddies but than again we wouldn't want too many gimmicks in the game would you because then we would get donkey kong country 2 and other than that it's a masterpiece.

ok, I feel like this was one of the worst kirby games ever. I say that because of the metroidvania aspect. It's not just because of it being a metroidvania that it's a problem but it's due to the non returning doors either. I also felt like the story was too complicated for what it was trying to do. The multiplayer **** too unlike star allies(the game most fans felt were mediocre even though I found it fun to watch them kill enemies). It also didn't help that it was my second kirby game so I expected nightmare in dreamland 2 but instead we got this. At least we got good music, beautiful graphics, and heath bars for enemies but that's about it.

This game was great. I never heard about the original game until the year this game came out. I say the game play is great and smooth. I think the best part about the game is that there are alot of small games packaged rather than it being one big game but that's masahero for you. My favorite games on there is meta knight's revenge and milkey way wishes. Lastly as a remake, it was great because of more games, better graphics, sometimes better music, and better enemy placement I believe.

I just beat the game. It was great! I love how the game is in 3d. I truly believe that the developers put their heart ands soul into it. I mean yeah it may not be mario 64 3dish but honestly it didn't need to be. It was still a somewhat open game. with the levels giving you plenty of room to explore. I also like how most of the similar things they did do was based off what planet robobot did rather than what star allies did. The bosses are fun too. However the final boss was something I didn't expect at all. Lastly I love how alive the woddle dee town is and the music is somewhat memorable.

I want to say I loved the game as a kid When I was a kid I used to explore the levels. I never really got the game until it's DS remake came out and the game was amazing at the time, I can see that but now, it isn't as much of a masterpiece as it once was. I mean when I was a younger adult, I wanted the more modern games to be better than my childhood games but I gave it a chance again at 25 years old and I could see it's problems too. Yes the exploration and platforming is fun(something super mario odyssey should balance more) and the music is good too but the issues are the camera, controls, and story. The camera isn't the best but it can be excused since it was the first of it's kind. The controls are alittle slippery too and that can make the levels harder to beat. However it's not as bad as sunshine's issues with the camera and controls but looking at recent reviews, it's more the rushed game design than the controls or camera. Lastly the story is too basic. I felt like even 3d land had a better story. It should've gone for the super mario bros 3 route rather than the super mario world route.

ok, here's my first negetive review. I don't like the game too much because of the game design. It barley tells you what to do or where to go. I felt like they didn't really have a good tortorial. I bought the game wanting to try a new IP and I liked the combat but I just felt like if I'm not getting anywhere and that I have to look up a walkthrough every 5 minutes, the game isn't for me. I understand if other people liked it especially if they played final fantasy alot but for me, more pokemon please. It honestly represented everything I hated about gaming as a kid. Hard, little directions, and frustrations.

I haven't finished the game yet but I want to say that I'm probably not going to finish it. I mean the game is cute and it's got some good animations like the hovering but the platforming is just ok. I felt like with the lack of changes from each level, it just became somewhat repetitive.

This game is great. I love how it's like smash bros but different and unique too. It's worth playing in handheld mode too. The game has unique mechanics like parrying instead of shielding and there's a no ledge grabbing either. The characters have different moves too than the smash characters although some moves are the same. The music is great too. The only thing I wish was that the adventure mode could've been less confusing and more engaging but other than that, it's a great game. Lastly, even though I've played the game on my brother's pc, I still wanted to get it on switch due to the handheld features and I could care less about mods but the tether ball mode is cool.

This is one of my all time favorite games too. For one thing the controls feel so good! That and along with just killing a character just makes it so satisfying from a gameplay standpoint. The story is very good too. I mean it does lead you with some unanswered questions but that's how it's supposed to be. Speaking of which, I wish the DLC would come out soon. I also like the slow down and reply mechanic. The replay mechanic comes from the developer's other game pause ahead and the developers always have something up their sleeve with gameplay mechanics as the tower of heaven(the first game I played from them), also had a unique mechanic. The slow down mechanic really helps a lot with making the game fun too. Lastly when the game was announced at a Nintendo direct, I slept on it and I regret it as the game was way more fun hands on than when I saw the game at the direct. I just thought it was a random killing game but I couldn't be more wrong.

omg, what a game this is! I love the characters and even better, I loved the game mechanics. It's like mario and luigi, combined with eartchbound, and some bullethell games. I just couldn't wait to see what was going to happen next in the game. On top of that, it was very cleaver how you can spare or kill every enemy alternating the story. The only issue is that it's alittle too hard for me but other than that it's great.
