A jewel in the biking helmet. Accessible, enjoyable and thrilling Moto GP 07 brings a sport, and gaming genre, to life. [Nov 2007, p.86]

MotoGP '07 tried to be a sim and an arcade title at the same time and fails on both accounts. Players are left with a half-baked racer that isn't bad but isn't anything you should be running out to buy.

The best bike racer you're likely to find on PS2. [Dec 2007, p.83]

Even know MotoGP 07 doesn't have the career mode or the 125 and 250cc classes, it's still a fun racing game. It's also similar to a Milestone's SBK 07 game

There is really not too much to this game. The graphics are marginally better than SBK:World Championship. I have a feeling they are the same engine because all the menus are similar. The tracks have zero elevation and zero dimensionality. Its very difficult to decide when to brake because of the graphics. They could have made this game on SNES. The dirt and grass is pixelated noise. There is no music. It doesn't have progressive scan mode or widescreen. The actual racing is very average and once you start winning its incredibly boring. The simulation mode is unplayable. There are times when my bike flips for no reason. Skip this one and get Tourist Trophy. There aren't any exciting motorcycle games on the PS2, and MotoGP 07 didn't change anything. Tourist Trophy is not a good racing game, but its an OK motorcycle experience. MotoGP 07 is an average Capcom game that I wouldn't recommend to anyone at this point in time.

I've been a sucker for the pulse-pounding excitement of the MotoGP race days for a few years now, and couldn't be happier with how MotoGP 07 turned out.

The 2007 season with all the familiarities and challenge you'd expect. [Dec 2007, p.83]

Capcom comes off like a crotch rocket vet with MotoGP 07, even though it's the publisher's first foray into the breakneck franchise since snagging the PS2 rights from Namco. [Holiday 2007, p.75]]

A long way off from living up to previous titles in the series.

Yet again, the PS2’s outing plays a distant second-fiddle to the more established output of Climax on the 360 and, while graphically Milestone gets a good grunt out of its hardware, those who are eager to take their PS2 for a spin on two wheels will have a hard time choosing between this stunted effort or the ultra conservative Tourist Trophy.

MotoGP 07 just plain looks limp next to the better games.

Take that 30 bones and either buy Tourist Trophy or burn it. Either way it will be better used than if you purchased this garbage.
