Make no mistake, NASCAR Racing 4 is a great game, but if Papyrus would put its experience into something besides graphics and driving models, the next NASCAR Racing would be much better.

An enthusiastic and ambitious project that is worthy of any oval lover's attention. Minor blemishes aside, it is easily the finest stock car sim available and quite possibly the best racing game to date.

If you want the most detailed, most accurate simulation of NASCAR racing and even multiplayer up to 43 drivers, NASCAR 4 is the only obvious choice and the game deserves to be a best seller, but only if they patch the AI!

At first, I was so taken in by the new physics, sound, and overall look that some of those faults didn't bother me...With some more work, especially on the AI and damage modeling, we could have a real winner here, but as it stands, a great driving model wrapped in a far less than satisfactory overall experience just doesn't quite make the grade.

This game will definitely bring a smile to your face when that black number three bumps you, just before he takes the lead away from you on your last lap at Daytona.
