Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece for Cloud is a compilation of all the entries in the series needed to get the full Kingdom Hearts experience. Despite not being the best way to play these games due to cloud gaming issues like erratic frame rate and sound problems, it's still Kingdom Hearts on Switch, and that is beautiful.

The games are mostly great, the form in which they are presented is not, for playing them via streaming is a buggy chore. What could have been a treat for fans of the series ends up being a disappointment.

The demo was excellent. I don’t know why people are complaining. Sometimes, there can be slowdowns, but other wise, it is a great game. Just need internet connection.

A lot better then expected. I am not experiencing any real slowdown and it is very playable. Very minor input lag on my end. It's a lot better then people make it seem. You definitely need good wifi/internet though. If you have the internet for it, you will enjoy it.

Kingdom Hearts on Switch could have been excellent, but instead of actually giving at the very least 1.5 + 2.5 the love and care they deserve they’ve all been shoved into the cloud. On top of dealing with input lag, dips in visual quality, and the occasional stutter many of these games look and run a lot worse compared to their PS4 or even PS3 counterparts. But hey…it’s portable. Kinda.

Ultimately, there are a ton of potential issues you may or may not run into, and seemingly no real advantages to running Kingdom Hearts Integrum Masterpiece on Switch — unless you simply have no other choice but to play these games on this console. As a fan, and as a player who just wants a consistent gameplay experience, it's incredibly disappointing. If you can buy this package for another system we'd earnestly implore you to do so — it may not be handheld, but at least it would be yours to keep and it would run reliably and consistently. As it stands, Kingdom Hearts on Nintendo Switch is defined by compromise.

Game Rant
The Switch version of Kingdom Hearts only manages to bring an inferior experience to a new console, without giving players access to the portable and casual benefits of that console. So, there's really nothing that makes the Switch version a preferable option over the others that are currently available. For players where the Switch is the only option available, it will work to get through to the end credits, but it won't allow those players to experience this incredible series at its best.

Kingdom Hearts is a beautiful, classic series that I would recommend to anyone. However, the Cloud version suffers severe performance issues, server congestion, and a level of restriction that sucks the appeal out of playing it on Switch. If you can, pick it up elsewhere - you’ll be grateful you did.

Many players will undoubtedly grab these versions to replay some classics from their childhood, and I already feel for them when that wave of disappointment hits. But truth be told, I feel worse for people hoping to finally give the series a try now that the entire collection is on a mobile, family-first platform. If that describes you, and you’ve been waiting for this moment to finally dive into Kingdom Hearts: Keep waiting.

Horrible. I was so excited to be able to get my all time favorite games for switch. But the Cloud slows everything down horribly. The framerate is abysmal. And don't even think about leaving it alone to go do your dishes like I did. If you're gone for even 5 minutes without attending to the game, it will automatically sign you out. It's not like I have to go find a save point to save every time and there's no auto save. I completed most of Atlantica, my least favorite world, could not find a save point, and i left quickly to do some dishes and put some cookies in the oven. there was no warning. The gamejust signs you out. Huge waste of money, if you buy these games, just play them on Playstation the way God intended.

Tried just the demo before I purchased. Even there, it was jittery with constant slowdowns. I had to pause at one point to answer a phone call, and it couldn't recover from that. Had to reboot it. These games are phenomenal, but it's inexcusable that Disney/Square Enix couldn't just make this a proper port and put this on Cloud instead. I would have gladly re-purchased these to have on the go and be able to play whenever if they had been proper offline games. What a missed opportunity. Play these games, but play them on a platform where they can actually be played to their fullest abilities.

This is the most disappointing experience I have *ever* had with a Square Enix game. I cannot articulate how much this cheap nostalgia cash grab has destroyed my trust for any Square game in the future. The cloud play is jittery at best and unplayable at worst, despite me playing with Gigabit internet. You MUST SAVE CONSTANTLY because if you pause for more than a minute you get disconnected from the server and lose any unsaved progress. I hate that this 23 year old game cost me $40+ US. I hate that the graphics are worse quality than what you saw on the PS3, a full 2 console generations back. I hate that there is no way for me to play the game I bought for a HANDHELD SYSTEM on the go without pristine internet connection. I hate that gameplay relies not just on my constant internet connection but also that their servers aren’t overloaded, or experiencing any down time, or someone brought some foil wrap near the server room. I hate that there is no info on the Nintendo Eshop about how overwhelmingly terrible **** users have said this game to be. I hate this I hate this I HATE THIS. You have no excuse Square. You have no excuse Nintendo. How dare you sully my cherished memories of this game.

These games have horrible performance. There is not reason what so ever that these games are cloud games. I mean a 3D Kingdom Hearts game was running on the Nintendo DS. So Square Enix releasing a cloud version on the Switch are redicolous especially when the performance is this bad.

These are great games that you should play, but Kingdom Hearts 1, and Kingdom Hearts 2 should not be cloud versions.
