Solarpunk has an interesting concept and promising approaches, but these are overshadowed by a lot of idle and technical issues.

Gothic Remake is a fantastic, atmospheric reimagining that more than does justice to the original.

Final Fantasy 7 Rebirth builds upon its fantastic predecessor, delighting players with an emotional story, incredible variety—despite its significantly expanded scope—and a magnificent game world.

However, the preview did not leave us entirely without reservations. After all, Star Fox had all but vanished from the scene for years. Moreover, this new installment is once again a remake of Star Fox 64—or Lylat Wars. This is a game that has already been re-released once before, as Star Fox 64 3D on the Nintendo 3DS. This makes the question all the more pressing: why didn't Nintendo opt for a completely new adventure instead? [Hands-On Impressions]

First Light is a solid adventure—though one shouldn't set one's expectations for the story too high. The blend of action and exploration works well, and 007 fans will delight in the abundance of tongue-in-cheek references to the films and novels. As for the Bond atmosphere, however, there is still room for improvement. Hitman fans should bear in mind that Agent 47 and Agent 007 appeal to very different audiences; those who primarily seek freedom, dark humor, replay value, and a challenge would be better off sticking with the piano wire.

LEGO Batman: Legacy of the Dark Knight may not reinvent the classic LEGO formula, but it combines it surprisingly well with an atmospheric open world set in Gotham City. The mix of varied missions, countless secrets, and strong Batman fan service constantly motivates you to keep playing. While the simple combat and repetitive activities can become a bit tiring over time, the game still stands out as one of the most entertaining LEGO adventures in recent years.

Yoshi and the Mysterious Book takes the series in a surprisingly different direction. Instead of focusing on classic platforming challenges, Nintendo delivers a cozy adventure built around exploration, experimentation, and uncovering secrets inside beautifully illustrated book worlds. The lack of difficulty and traditional boss fights may disappoint longtime fans looking for a more classic Yoshi experience, but anyone who enjoys discovery and completing every hidden detail will likely have a hard time putting the game down.

A magnificent racing game—but one that rests on the laurels of its predecessors.

A quality port to an amazing game. The framerate may not always be as smooth as we had hoped, but don't let that stop you: Indy on Switch 2 is still an easy recommendation.

A smart blend of features that successfully captures the tension and style of the incredible TV show. But once you finished a few runs, it becomes pretty evident that the game lacks the necessary depth, speed and variety for a strategy game that aims to be highly replayable. It's not a bad game, for sure, but not a great one either.
