The Forsaken Hollows expands the Elden Ring Nightreign experience with a new map filled with secrets and two truly memorable final battles. If you liked the main game, it's the perfect excuse to continue playing.

The Forsaken Hollows enhances Elden Ring Nightreign with a little more content that, while not essential, will leave die-hard FromSoftware fans with a good taste in their mouths. Some additions are not perfect, but the DLC does not fail to deliver the epic and demanding moments that are the hallmark of the franchise.

Elden Ring Nightreign has a solid core of fans, and The Forsaken Hollows is a welcome reward — albeit one that sets them back $15 — for their continued engagement. It might bring a few players back, at least for a while. The new map and Nightlords are quality FromSoft challenges, and the new day bosses are a relief for weary players, but the new classes are nothing truly special. The Forsaken Hollows brings a degree of freshness to the by-now familiar Nightreign, but it’s hard not to think the content could have been rolled out over the past six months for free.

While Elden Ring Nightreign The Forsaken Hollows' new characters are truly great, the lack of new weapons proves to be a sticking point. Hardcore players shouldn't hesitate to download this DLC, but more casual fans best wait for a sale.

While The Forsaken Hollows is a must-have DLC pack for players who enjoy Nightreign, it doesn't offer.

I have spent 150 hours with this game, I can confidently say that this is one of my favorite From Software games alongside the Wlden Ring base game. I know this was a smaller more experimental project for the company, but man what gem it actually turned out to be. I love it, and the more I have played it, the more I like it. I hope that they both continue to support Nightreign as well as iterate off of everything they learned from making such a creative and unique feeling game.

GOOD: - new Nightfearers (especially Undertaker) - all new bosses (end of day & Nightlords) - new relics - changes to some passives/buffs MID: - new points of interest - new raids - overall 'story' of the DLC BAD - new map (shifting earth) is just awful - no new weapons/spells is a huge missed opportunity - only 2 new nightfearers & expeditions (3 would be a sweet spot)

My initial score would be a 2/10. It was very underwhelming. However, since part of that is high standards for From Software, I will raise it to a 3/10. I completed it, and without saying spoilers, there really isn't much to this DLC, unless they add to it. Currently, it's a big map, which is cool but annoying since it's a timed fortnight-like game, where the world caves in on you. Other than that they putup some extremely challenging bosses to make you spend hours defeating them before you can get a small handful of skins for the two new characters. That's about it. A few glitches came back that will likely go away (sprinting locks and won't allow attacks, for example). Put simply, it is not fun. The base game had its flaws but the DLC adds more frustration and very little fun to an otherwise alright game.

this dlc didn't make things anybetter for the game it made it worst proves the point of the incompentence of the devs behind this **** i have 155hours of gameplay with the dlc i can tell you it's the biggest piece of dog **** in 2025
