Far from being a knockout. [March 2013, p.87]
The bottom line is that if you are a Dragon Ball Z fan, this is probably going to be a good value for you to play through all the characters, watch the movie, and try to get the additional QR codes for added fun. If you're looking for a good fighting game on Kinect, this one might leaving you feeling a little defeated.

The control system completely alters the game. This might disappoint fans, but we prefer it. [Issue#92, p.86]

Dragon Ball Z for Kinect proved to be surprisingly impressive. Graphically it really pulls off the anime to video game jump, and the gameplay matches well by allowing you to play through the original storyline.

A double sided game: while the combat system is immediate and easily approachable by every kind of gamer, other elements like the lack of local multiplayer and bad storytelling in the story mode steer it away from the casual players, the natural target for a Kinect game.

I actually love this game, even though a lot of people don't like it. I gotta excited when i played a Super Saiyan Bardock. IT WAS AWESOME!!"IMO, this is a really fun game to play.

The game has a fantastic look and a ton of content for those who love Dragon Ball Z. In the end I think fans of the series may overlook the game's deficiencies, but casual fans that have a Kinect may want to walk right on by this one.

Spike ChunSoft's effort to create an hardcore, Kinect based Dragon Ball experience is not that good. The basic gameplay mechanics are ok, but they have failed in being entertaining due to the lack of variety. The reaction time of the hardware is quite a problem too, slowing down the pace of the fights. Younger Dragon Ball fans will be ok with the game anyway, just cause it's too cool to throw a Kamehameha in real-life.

A very poor game, only recommendable for kids who love the series and would love to throw some punches and kicks while playing as the characters they watch on TV. A video game that would not live up to the expectations set by Kinect or Dragon Ball Z.

DBZ Kinect is a novelty wrapped in repetition. A small child in your household might have a lot of fun, if he or she can properly use the Kinect. While many of Namco's Dragon Ball games feature ever expanding rosters, knock-down, drag-out fights, and really pretty, animé-inspired graphics, DBZ Kinect is a totally passable affair, even for (lapsed or otherwise) diehard fans.

Whether it's a good Kinect game, a good fighting game or a scratch for your Dragonball Z itch that you are looking for, none can be found here. Unfortunately a combination of unrealistic ideas and lazy game design have made Dragonball Z for Kinect a must miss title for both fans and newcomers alike.

Step 1: Get the Dragonball z cartoon network music from amazing mp3, and play it on xbox 360. Step 2: Use the game purely as a fun way to workout, and build cardio Step 3: Enjoy the game......Stop trying to enjoy the game for what it's not, and enjoy it for what it is. Lets face it, all motion detection games are basically a **** not really meant for hardcore gaming, that being **** a kinect for the pure purspse of losing weight....obesity is an epidemic in **** off your butt... and get a sweat...saiyan style ....with cartoon network music in background.....

1) BAD Kinect gesturing. It's ridiculously hard to get your moves right and you just end up doing the same thing over and over again. There are great Kinect games but this is just not one of them. The main menu isn't the easiest to make work either. 2) However just like Dragonball Z it is HILARIOUSLY bad. I laugh hilariously when watching other people play it in my house. This is going to be a GREAT drunk night game.

The game is bad, is not pessimo sickens fast gameplay, the graphics are good, just good enough this game irritated me think Kinect somewhat spoils the game, the better until the time was Harry Potter for Kinect.
