Tekken Advance

It is incredible! I have not enjoyed a portable game this much since the Game Boy Advance's launch.

Special mention going to the sound effects and music which are superb, every blow and block is recreated whilst a thumping tune plays in the background.

Compared to the massive rendered cutscenes in "Tekken 3," Tekken Advance looks like a small-scale side story of the series, rather than a fully-fledged sequel.

Put into perspective and it being an ambitious "hit the ground running" success by Namco, Tekken Advance is a stunning achievement for GBA and deserves the praise lavished on it.

Namco may have had to cut a few corners to fit the 3D fighter onto Nintendo's handheld, but the end product looks and feels enough like the original game to succeed.

Tekken loses out big time by not supporting the GBA's one-cartridge multiplayer feature. [Feb 2002, p.172]

Its near perfect. Its got impressive graphics, sound, and gameplay. My only complaint was the small amont of playable characters. Its tons of fun.

Great fighting game, especially for the system. Feels legitimately like a Tekken game. Good framerate and no slow down. Wish there was another main game mode other than the arcade mode and tag mode. It would have also been nice to have at least some screenshots as endings for the arcade mode instead of just credits. Hands down the best fighting game on the GBA.

Stripped down version of Tekken that employs scaled sprites rather than polygonal fighters and only 2 attack buttons which makes it feel more like an approximation of Tekken than the real deal. It doesn't hold a candle to the fully 3D versions but certainly a contender for the best fighting game on the Advance.

At last, Tekken finally makes it to a handheld device, and the result is good. It has the same 3D environments as Tekken 3, and the graphics aren't too bad for a GBA game. The main difference between this game and the console installments is the pacing. This game is noticeable slower than other Tekken games. One thing I like about Tekken Advance is that the tag team element from Tekken Tag Tournament is here. You can have a tag team of 3 characters. Overall this is a great Tekken game for the Game Boy Advance that is a good handeld fighter.

Совершенно не понимаю, для чего нужна была эта игра. Конечно видно, что пытались сделать игру хорошей. Но на мой взгляд, переносить 3d файтинг на GBA, это издевательство над фанатами этого жанра. 5 из 10 за кастрированный порт.
