With increased detail running at a higher resolution and maintaining the same frame rate, it quite literally leaves the arcade version for dead. That's 640x480 at a constant 60fps.

Da mascella a terra! All'epoca non potevi non comprare un Dreamcast soltanto per giocare a questo capolavoro. Grafica pazzesca, che ancora oggi non sfigura affatto, e una giocabilità che era perfetta. Inutile dire che la serie da qui è andata sempre più scemando e poi si è persa, ma questa era Namco nel suo prime.

It blows away every 3D fighting game I've ever played (even "Virtua Fighter 3," and by a much bigger margin than I expected!), so go buy it when you get your Dreamcast, or feel like a total fool when it's sold out the next day.

Considering its age, it’s simply the best game I’ve ever played. The fluidity, the depth of its combo system, the generous progression and the precision of its combat system are unmatched.
