Old Digimon fans will absolutely love this game; it's a repackaging of the older Digimons, but with much more to do. However, new fans may be a bit wary approaching a game like Digimon World DS.

The game may still be a ripoff of Pokemon, despite developer's attempts to set it apart, but it still is a fun game. If it had more internet capabilities, it could have been one of the better RPGs on the DS.

Digimon World DS excels in being a solid monster collection and training sim. However, the downside is playing through the actual game to collect these monsters. From here it's all Digi-downhill.

Decente, no es lo mejor de la franquicia pero es bueno para iniciar. Digimon Story (o world ds en este continente) es el juego principal de toda su saga original, siendo los cimientos para cyber sleuth y compañia, la tramainicial y jugabilidad son buenas y hasta adictivas. Un problema seria la progresion, ya que extralevelear creeme que no es ninguna desventaja, alguna que otra mision secundaria y puzzles no tan complejos. Ahora, es recomendable? Si, sin dudas, tiene sus altibajos pero es disfrutable tanto para nuevos como para veteranos y la opcion de muchos activos en la franquicia.

The game is quite great indeed, very funny to play but tends to be repetitive sometimes (espceially when visiting the dungeons; too many digimon encounters).

As a gamer who has not only never played a Digimon title until this one, but dropped far too many hours into his copy of Pokémon Diamond, I was quite impressed with what Namco Bandai have brought to the table.

Digimon World DS it´s the best Digimon Nintendo DS game. The gameplay is really good and the graphics are gorgeous yet simple. The story isn´t the best or something that you haven´t seen somewhere else but you want to grow your digimon stronger so you will keep going. "Catching" other digimons in this game is the easier of the "World" games. But the less fun, you just have to scan other digimons and you will see the digimon over and over again so you will collect more then 100% of the data that you need. The digimon-raising in this game is also interesting but not really interactive like in Digimon World 1 or 3. Overall Digimon World DS is a good game but it isn´t something to be very excited about.

This game is good. But, what I hate about this game is that the battles are first-person shooter view. When you moved the character around for only a few steps. You get in battles so frequently. It's annoying.
