Personally the best, arguably one of the best games **** themes and gameplay honestly feels so good and interesting, didn’t even realized the 30fps “problem” until I read about it somewhere. Too bad it’s a Ps Exclusive.

a phenomenal game locations are really good the concept of a weapon inherently being 2 weapons with different movesets is what i like the most in this game. truly quality over quantity. the bosses are slightly underwhelming but pretty good overall. hunter has so much aura thats absolutely insane. good build variety imo for not having many weapons. just a really good game.

Bloodborne is a masterpiece of action RPG design, combining fast-paced combat, unforgettable bosses, and one of gaming's most atmospheric worlds. Its haunting setting, deep lore, and rewarding challenge create an experience unlike any other. A timeless classic that remains one of the greatest games ever made.

this game is really damn good just not the 10/10 best game ever people make it out to be. It stays true to the soulsgame formula really well, the atmosphere is second to none, most bosses i would say where a really good time, not all of the though, the blood vial healing system is actually HORRIBLE, they could have done that allot better, the final boss of the base game was lowkey underwhelming, i beat it in 4 tries i think. The bloodechoes system is fun and is a really big penalty to death if you have allot. The story i couldnt really grasp in my playthrough and after finding it out it really was not nearly as intriguing and masterful as people make it out to be. The runbacks are abysmal, i know its like a staple for soulsgames but IDGAF its boring repetitive and adds nothing to the game. Overall, as my first soulsgame, i had a great time and i would highly recommend it.

The coolest aesthetic of all the Souls games. A fun, balanced experience that isn't too difficult or aggravating. I think this is mostly a perfect game apart from all the side content involving Chalice Dungeons which I did not care for at all.

Fantastic game. One of the best Lovecraftian games ever made. I am still slobbering over how much flavor I love was in it!

While I don't think this game completely lives up to the hype and the 10/10 everyone made it out to be I think it was super close but got held back by some key issues. The biggest problem in this game is the 30fps, it's such an easy fix and wouldn't cost Sony any money so it's very annoying that they just don't make it 60fps, it is for sure this games biggest downside and why I didn't give this game a 9/10. Second is the healing, in Dark Souls you replenish your healing items at bonfire but in this game you can only get healing items as enemy drops and buying them with blood echoes (this games version of souls). I also think some of the early game bosses are way too hard for being early game, the hardest bosses in this game were the first boss and the last early game boss which I didn't like since I feel like the hardest bosses should be reserved for late game, even the hardest DLC boss wasn't nearly as bad as some of the early game bosses. Also the chalice dungeons were a major disappointment, the first one was really cool but after that it just got repetitive and boring. These are my only major complaints, I have a few other nitpicky ones but they aren't worth mentioning. Overall this is an amazing game, it would be as good as DS1 & 3 if it was 60fps but I guess Sony doesn't care about this game anymore which is really sad. This game has a bit of a learning curve since it's a bit different from the souls games but once you get used to it it's a blast. If you liked the Dark Souls games you will likely love Bloodborne as well.

(-1) It **** that this game is stuck to 30fps even if you're on PS5. It should take only maximum 1 or 2 weeks to uncap the fps, or limit it with 60 at least. It made my eyes hurt while playing.
(-1) Some boss fights really ****, basically unfair. Like the one Amygdala (Defiled Chalice). It's practically impossible. To be honest, some of its boss fights are so fun, especially the humanoid ones. It feels like duels. And the best thing that this game does is keeping you aggressive with mild mechanics such as giving you a chance to retrieve your lost health if you attack right after you get hit. 2001 french film aesthetic and ctulhu myth mix so well together. There were 2 places itched into my mind, forbidden woods and central yharnam. Both of their designs are so so so good. I am even happy about these are archival material to this aesthetic. I was always seeing reviews like "best souls game" and I was only 1 guess why people may say that. And I was right. The thing is only in this FromSoftware game you don't rush one point to another, because mobs are so well balanced. you don't get tired fighting them. In most souls games, at the start of the game, mobs have mid-dif attacks but after a while they start to hit stupid status effects and impossible to dodge combos. This makes you run from one point to another. So whole games becomes a boss rush. This game has some bad mobs like the ones i say, but very few. Great game! Can I have more?

fantastic game genuinely the best game ever made for the ps4 and one of the coolest exclusives ever. bloodborne is in a league of its own when it comes to vibe and combat even among the other souls games. while difficulty can make it less accessible than other titles, the grind really pays off even more so than the other souls games

Bloodborne is my greatest game of all time. The combat is so close to perfection with nothing that I would change. A lot of other Soulslikes and even Fromsoftware games might have you explore some more and get overlevelled if you are struggling with a boss fight, where Bloodborne's philosophy is more, keep trying and improve until you win, which I like a lot. The level design is some of the best in gaming, and the way it's decorated is beautiful. Character design and sound design are both perfect too with the sound creating this almost haunted religious feel helping the atmosphere become what it is. And Fashionborne

Great game
.Every fan of Souls-like games has to play this game.
For beginners, you have to give it a chance; like all Souls-like games, it's difficult and frustrating at first, but it's a great game. The best souls like for me , just play! brazil gamer

Best Fromsoft game by far, the atmosphere is superb the combat is as fast and fluid as it will ever get and music just hits all of the right tones. Sure it has not the best of bosses but the dlc and all the other points more than make up for this minor mistake.

Bloodborne is my favorite souls game and one of my top 3 favorite games ever made. I've played through this about 10 or so times and I won't be stopping. This has everything I love about Dark souls which in a nutshell is that these games have a substantial enough of a run time to feel like a full experience while also being short and sweet enough to make you want to play through it again with a new weapon. Which is the other reason I love souls games, vast replayability with the various play styles/weapons. While it is faster paced and "harder" than the other souls games, Bloodborne balances out the difficulty with mechanics like the repost, rally, and the quick step all of which reward a more aggressive play style. The whole console exclusivity and 30fps deal was never an issue for me personally, but I do understand the very valid criticism of those things.

What to say? The best fromsoftware game, very very very good level design (not as good as dark souls but not far really), the best lore and Art direction of all fromsoftware games, the gameplay is really good but the game shines for his ambiance, it will never be matcher and its just amazing even today theres tons of things that peoples discover lorewise, by searching or sometimes just by observing, the game is full of details with tons of things to say and to analyze.

When you first start the game, you become this badass hunter who came to Yharnam to seek blood healing. But as you progress, you realize there are some weird stuff going on. Once you get familiarized with the lore and setting, Bloodborne will turn into what i believe is a historical experience.

It’s a pretty good game but I was not a fan of the weapons or the lore/story. The combat was typically good for a FromSoftWare game and I adored the Lovecraftion art style/atomsphere but after about 30 hours, I had no idea what in the world was going on, story wise and the last 15 hours made no sense. I did like the final boss battle but hated the ending. It was very anticlimactic. Pretty fun game but ultimately ends up boring and a chore to get through.

Definitely deserves it's praise! The only issue I have is the frame-rate, besides that, I love the game, bosses are kind of annoying and some of them are just stupid (in my opinion) but it's still fun and rage-worthy which I like in Fromsoftware games. I adore the soundtrack, gameplay mechanics (though I didn't really use the firearms a lot), I love the game design, sound design, I love everything about this game except the frame-rate which isn't even really an issue tbh.

Simply a masterpiece in environment and gameplay. Best OST ever made. Best combat ever made. Ripping through the streets of Yharnam with your choice of trick weapon is just perfection. Just booting the game onto the menu screen gives me a rush of dopamine.

One of the best Fromsoft games. They implemented a good amount of special weapons with dual abilities. The agressive combat and sometimes gambling with getting HP back after getting hit is fun. I really like that tense constant action but it still remained a bit tactical like their other games. The setting and lore is one of the best ever and if you can ignore the 30 fps the technical state is still very good, although the game is 10 years old. The thing is that you have to get through the opening area which is really frustrating but once the world opens up it gets better and you can adapt much faster to unknown situations. Most of the bosses were cool but usually not that challenging and there were a few very exhausting ones like the spider that were not fun at all, but at least the boss arenas were epic as always.

As a fan of Soulslike games, I might be controversial but I have never understood why it is so universally acclaimed. Incredible and fascinating environments, but very repetitive and similar to each other. Few weapons and armor compared to other soulslike games and limited customization options. I have not played the DLC, but I do not consider most of the bosses in the base game to be memorable. I finished it a couple of times and it left me with nothing except confusion about why it is so loved

Possbily one of the coolest yet most disturbing universes in games, Bloodborne is a FromSoft masterpiece that everyone should play at least once. The game features a unique take on the usual FromSoft combat featured in their Souls games, allowing for parrying and dashes, rewarding aggressive gameplay that a hunter should abuse. The visuals in this game are incredible, a very cohesive and unique take inspired by Lovecraftian fiction, filled with many crazy enemy and boss designs, and some incredible levels. There's one thing that takes this down for me; outside of the DLC, a lot of the bosses aren't the best, if you get the DLC, it's an easy 10. This is one you don't want spoiled for you, go play it, a hunter must hunt.

Bloodborne forever ️
