Blood Omen 25
Mar 24, 2026
Unfortunately a major misstep. Not only does it have nothing to do with the first chapter, but the setting and story have little of LoK, and the writing, also mediocre, opened so many plot holes that Defiance, the following chapter, had to deal with fixing them

Legacy of Kain: Defiance7
Mar 24, 2026
The final chapter of the series, which improves the combat system (still not very good) but unfortunately offers a poor camera and a slightly different art style that in my opinion is worse than the previous ones. The first part of the adventure, both in terms of environments and story, is extremely repetitive, but fortunately it improves a lot in the second half

Soul Reaver 28
Mar 24, 2026
A worthy sequel that however shows all the limits of a unfortunately poor combat system, especially toward the final part of the adventure, and the setting is quite repetitive. However the story is even better than its predecessor, with a script worthy of a novel and an incredible ending

Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver9
Mar 24, 2026
A masterpiece. The combat was not great even at the time, but it takes a back seat thanks to the incredible soundtrack, an amazing script and unmatched voice acting. It was subject to many cuts before release, and I really wish I could have experienced its complete version

Oddworld: Abe's Exoddus9
Mar 24, 2026
Still today the best Oddworld. It takes everything that was good in the first and improves it in every aspect. The setting and the art style, as well as the CGI cutscenes, are still impressive even after so many years

Dragon's Dogma 26
Mar 24, 2026
Despite partly liking it, as a huge fan of the first game I consider it my biggest gaming disappointment ever. What was supposed to be the true version without cuts of Dragon's Dogma is actually a game with even less content, fewer mechanics, a terrible story, a combat system that is partly worse and some ideas that I honestly struggled to understand, such as the pawn illness and the inclusion of races mixed with animals. Here as well, like the first game, it is clear that heavy cuts were made during development and it is a real shame

Dragon's Dogma: Dark Arisen8
Mar 24, 2026
Unjustly underrated at the time, it still boasts an impressive combat system and incredible ideas. It is clearly visible that much content was cut during development, but it remains for me one of the best action RPGs ever made

Dragon Age: The Veilguard3
Mar 24, 2026
I cannot help but consider it an insult. It has absolutely nothing of Dragon Age, neither in the writing, nor in the art style, nor in the gameplay, and it is forcibly stuffed with political agenda, which Dragon Age does not need since it has always been extremely inclusive. Watching the Battle of Ostagar from the first Dragon Age and then looking at any cutscene from this is simply painful

The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt9
Mar 24, 2026
One of the best RPGs in history. Memorable environments, story and characters, great exploration and meaningful and well structured side quests. It falls short of perfection only because of the combat system, which is unfortunately not very satisfying
PlayStation 4

Elden Ring9
Mar 24, 2026
Massive, rewarding and with a sense of exploration never seen before. Hundreds of hours of content without ever getting boring. It has some evident flaws (such as the multiplayer, unnecessarily cumbersome and not always working well) but they are completely overshadowed by excellent gameplay and setting.

Bloodborne7
Mar 24, 2026
As a fan of Soulslike games, I might be controversial but I have never understood why it is so universally acclaimed. Incredible and fascinating environments, but very repetitive and similar to each other. Few weapons and armor compared to other soulslike games and limited customization options. I have not played the DLC, but I do not consider most of the bosses in the base game to be memorable. I finished it a couple of times and it left me with nothing except confusion about why it is so loved

Ghost of Yotei6
Mar 24, 2026
A huge disappointment. Gameplay slightly better than its predecessor, but the story and characters are either bland and forgettable or annoying, especially the protagonist, who is both. Everything feels too similar to the previous entry and you play with a constant sense of deja vu. Even the Legends mode was made with extreme laziness. The series deserves much better than this
PlayStation 5

Ghost of Tsushima8
Mar 24, 2026
Great gameplay, incredible environments and a story that, even with some dips, is both engaging and emotional. Simply one of the best games in recent years

Ratchet & Clank: Up Your Arsenal9
Mar 24, 2026
Without a doubt one of the best in the series, if not the best overall. A perfect mix of fun gameplay with original weapons/gadgets and humor with memorable characters
PlayStation 2

Ratchet & Clank Future: A Crack in Time9
Mar 24, 2026
On the podium among the best entries in the series. It improves on its predecessors in gameplay and adds many new interesting mechanics, such as open worlds and space exploration. The story is very engaging but has some inconsistencies
PlayStation 3
Mar 24, 2026
Ratchet & Clank: Rift Apart6
Mar 24, 2026
Definitely a step forward compared to the PS4 remake, but it is still far from the glory of the series. Great graphics and gameplay, but the new protagonists are not very distinct and are not very interesting, the duration is too short and the story is bland
PlayStation 5

Ratchet & Clank (PS4)5
Mar 24, 2026
Improves the gameplay of the original, but everything else has worsened to absurd levels. Story and characters completely butchered, art style made more childish, fewer weapons, fewer planets. As a big fan, I can only consider it a true insult to the series
PlayStation 4

WUCHANG: Fallen Feathers7
Mar 24, 2026
Great sound design and a decent gameplay, with some truly fun bosses. However, it suffers from serious balance issues and some mechanics end up being simply annoying
PlayStation 5

Monster Hunter Wilds7
Mar 24, 2026
The best combat system in the series, but everything else is inferior to the previous chapters and the game has lost the soul of Monster Hunter, including the concept of "hunting." There are large, lively maps that are pointless to explore because as soon as you enter, by pressing a button, you are taken to the monster within seconds. It is gradually improving with updates, I hope the DLC will address the issues because it has great potential.
